Ursus grunts softly as the angle buffets him with her fists.

"Come on sweetheart, you can do better than that."

The big ulfen roars and as he does a change comes across his form. His already musclebound frame swells with power and fur sprouts across his upperbody. The features of his face melt and shift until they're almost bear-like.

Rage

Ursus snaps at the angel with his ursine maw.

Having latched onto her leg, the brawler tugs on her pulling her backwards and down to the earth.

He then slips around behind her, slipping his tree-trunk arms around her arms/wings in a full nelson and wrenches on the hold.

I just wiffed my init roll so took me longer to jump in, plus having to draw a weapon.

sorry the take 10 was apparently a hold over from 3.5 that I had just assumed came with, taking 10 or 20 used to mean you took that much longer, but it was guaranteed to be whatever result 10 or 20 would yield. But again, looking as that's not actually stated, it's not part of this set, my apologies.

looking back, your ac is what ursus? I think all three may have hit. Near as I can figure it your ac is 10+2insight+2dex+3wis+2monk class+2deflection+1haste for 22ac?

His AC would have been 27 (21 base, +4 mage armor, +1 from Naturalist, +1 haste)

I included naturalist and haste, just not mage armor, that takes it to 26

-1 from grapple (would normally be -2 but his barbarian class feature reduces the penalty by half)

Also, her attack bonus is reduced by 2 for being in a grapple.

Naturalist and dusty rose prism ioun stone don't stack. Both are insight bonuses.

archivist is an insight bonus correct? so you only take the better of your two insight bonuses (archivist +2 rather than the +1 from ioun)

Next round, Gina will put away the morning star she has in her off hand in her backpack. Then basically go into delay watching Ursus turn the angel into a chewy pretzel.

After another round of pummeling in which she get one good hit in on ursus she cries out I submit! you may pass!

Daxter will just delay as he watches Ursus bear-handle another adversary.

She's pinned so she can't attack at all anymore.

Ursus lets his grip slack enough to not be hurting her anymore but doesn't release her quite yet.

"When I let you go, you're going to do your magic thing and leave here, for good", Ursus warns in a guttural bestial growl through his ursine maw.

Oh, and while you are at it, why don't you tell me what plane you are from?

Some mortal who needed this tomb guarded a obvious sense of disgust at having to grapple with the human and having her weapon stolen riddles her voice with that she plane shifts and is gone

"More people should really listen to me. Instead she has to wait until she gets beaten like an orphan to leave us be."

What my friend is trying to say, is that if you tell us what you can you minimize the damage heretics like ourselves cause to your shrine. We are Pathfinders, and believe me when I say that we'd rather not stir up some ancient evil, if we can avoid it...

Does Ursus have any moral problems from infernal healing magic? If not, I'll use another 2 charges on him.

Ursus laughs at Daxter's jab and then takes a knee to looks for tracks.

Ursus lumbers inside the cave.

I assume it's okay to retcon the healing once Huge has a moment to post?

"Why can't you cast it yourself? You'll never learn if I keep enabling you. Just this once I will oblige though. Next time come prepared."

"We may want to conserve our magics... this place may be large. Although I suppose a little Heroism never hurt... can you spare a usage off your rod of extend, Daxter?"

"Of course, but the spell lasts a fair amount of time before expiring. It should last long enough for us to explore most of this place. Yes, we were told that the Lissalan's were trying to recover tokens to restore one named Krune."

Ursus cleared his throat as he entered deeper into the cavern.

The big ulfen stopped and chuckled to himself.

"That's the first time I've ever had to ask that."

"I'm just making sure the gnome is up to date and that we're prepared. Lead the way." Daxter responds ignoring the jab.

Gnome? You perhaps could address me as a fellow Pathfinder, Baron, a fellow scholar, but there is no need to be speciesist

He turns to Ursus and speaks in Ulfen
Keep your eyes sharp... if you run across a magical or mechanical wards it is likely Dak or I can deal with it

Davo cracks a sunrod, casts a dancing light down the hall (unless someone calls for stealth) and falls in behind Gina. He moves slowly, looking for traps or points of historical interest
