She does not realize what happens around her. She is concentrated on the task at hand.

After deciphering the last plinth and performing the ritual you move on towards the sound of battle. Stairs lead up to the next level.
Claustrophobic cells line the walls here, many crowded with three or four miserable-looking humans. The halls converge on a hewn-stone chamber lit with braziers and choked with herb-scented smoke.
You remember that you are in a time bubble, thousands of years ago. This means that these humans can only be Azlanti prisoners.
A specialized caste of serpentfolk focus on training and breaking mammalian servants with the aid of their favored thralls: a client tribe of troglodytes known as the Aggrieved Fallows. These troglodytes handle the disgusting work of cleaning, tending, and disciplining the other captives. Much the of the work of breaking human wills is left to serpentfolk enchanters, who warp their charges’ minds for month using enchantments, illusions, and venom, until their humans have no single reality to cling to save for what their reptilian masters dictate to be true. The few serpentfolk here are familiar with and inured to the troglodytes’ stench.
Several other Pathfinders are currently fighting Troglodytes and Serpentfolks. Two Troglodyte and a bird-like outsider approach you and attack.

Thankfully, he doesn't vomit in his helm, but the stench of the creatures give him painful stomach cramps. "WAIT RAUL, let them come to ......damn, too late", Kent shouts, then ends in a mutter, as one creature attacks the impetuous priest.
Hefting his sacred shield up in front of his face and chest, the knight looks left at his companion, "Are you ready Miss Verna'th? It looks like we are in the fray again. I'll try and hold the larger creature and the far lizardman, if you can bring some wrath down on them all."
Smiling without humour, he faces front and moves in, sword held up to defend him from anything in the chamber. He pushes past the priest and puts his back to the wall, facing the creature. Recognising it as a Slagrak, he yells out to his companions, "It is protected against all elements, sound, holy wrath or cold steel will hurt it most!"

Either, you help us free him. Or you stay out of our way. If you want to help us, we could use some real weapons, like yours."

Kent stands up and turns to the amazonian with the burnt features. He cannot speak whatever language she is using. He turns to his comrades and asks them if anyone understands her.
If no one can, he pulls a roll of dirty parchment which was tucked inside the rim of his shield. Trying to sign that he is not a threat to her, but is trying to understand her, he casts Comprehend Languages from the scroll.
The knight repeats her phrase to his companions and adds, "They need our help rescuing their commander. I say we follow them, give them what we can spare and see what we can learn about them and this period."
Turning back to the woman, he says her name with some difficulty, "Us-zanri-ar", then taps his chestplate, "Kent". He slowly and deliberately removes his longspear from his back and offers it to her. The weapon is plain, but well made, and important to Kentel as the holy weapon of his Lord. He offers a well made dagger to one of her companions.
