This board will feature Scenario 05-08 The Confirmation run as part of PbP Gameday IV: Rise of the Siege of Serpents and is tailored for new PFS players. I intend to run the game as part of a 3 part scenario arc to get new players to second level using replayable or “evergreen” scenarios. We will be running PFS under the normal rules as opposed to CORE as I do not want to limit participants so all PFS legal materiel per Additional Resources will be available for play. Requirements to play include a commitment to post once a day and of course have fun playing Pathfinder. I expect posts in game to be made in character and have included several links below to aid new players in fleshing out their characters and teach posting etiquette. Please use the discussion forum for any questions. Good luck and see you on the boards!

I would love to participate - I've never done PFS before and I'm really intrigued by Play by Post. Should I submit a character idea or a fully fleshed sheet? Thanks! :-)
I went ahead and made a PFS character, Regnel, a Human Occultist. This would be the character I'd want to play if I was selected for this game. :-)

Hello folks! To all, thanks for showing an interest in the board. To answer Katari's question, this game is designed for newer players but I will not exclude seasoned players. I know how hard it is to get started as a new PbP player so I am trying to aid the community in welcoming new peeps to the game. So for now, Regel Katari and Auaran are in. Hopefully we will get a few more newbies before it is all said and done.

Thanks GM Brew. If you change your mind later in deference to wanting to give another inexperienced player a chance, I would understand. Otherwise, perhaps having a seasoned player or two along would be beneficial to the newer players, too.
I have two possible characters in mind. Bregolas Fierceleaf (elf ranger 1) is a curved blade-wielding strong & silent type melee combatant, whose quirky and inadvertently funny personality I've had fun roleplaying once before. Would having 1 XP to start be an issue for you?
If so, there's a brand new character I've also been wanting to try. Kumal the Barbarian (kellid barbarian 1) has a tendency to fly into the "Dance of Rage," however, which includes breaking things and throwing chairs... and which might make Bregolas the better guide for new players, lol.

Welcome Iris. That brings us to four. We are a legal table, yay! We still have some time before we start so I am confident we will grab a few more players.
Katari, please play which ever character you feel strongly about. This goes for the table. I really want you all to play characters that you are excited to play. The table balance issues will work themselves out, so please go with your gut and roll out the PC you most want to play.
