Not sure if you had seen the declared action for this round. But it was the movement i had already placed. He's slow, so i had to double move to get up the stairs then double move to get where I am currently. 2 rnds

Note, i failed to mention it, but that is a pit where the white ball is... each stage of the pit is a 5 foot drop. So, i adjusted Cade's charge to be outside of it.
Cade chargest beside the pit and lances into one of the smaller apemen. Dealing a good deal of damage but failing to trip him.
Shutaku's shadow is unable to move the orb.

I can't access the map atm and can't see the map, but I'll continue to hold my grease spell if none of our party members are in melee. If I'm in range I'll move then cast it under the big ape. If everyone else is moving to melee and I'm just sitting in the back, I'll double move until I'm in range. Thanks.
