Standard behavior applies, it is almost instinctive at this point.
Attempt the trip (as you close but before you can reach Giovanni due to chain reach), if the trip works, follow up with the disarm.

Disarm attempt w/ Good Hope ignoring Prone opponent bonus: 1d20 + 32 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 32 + 3 = 36 Natural 1, no disarm. Better for the team, honestly.

I think the icy prisoned devourer block the line of sight to the bodak, since it also the ice blocks line of effect to the target? So Amaranti cannot charge it, but at the same time it blocks the gaze attack?
The biggest enemy thing is now trapped inside a block of ice, so Amaranti thinks its best to leave it there for a moment. The small ones are not quite as impressive targets, but Amaranti still orders his eidolon to charge the closest yellow ragewight.

★★★OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT★★★
Medda rides by, calling above the din of the raging battle, “The path is clear—we can reach the valley that holds the stone circle. Let us band together and stop the undead tide. I am concerned that some of the foul creatures had the name ‘Eshimka’ on their rotting lips. We must stand together and use all of our power to close this black portal before it’s too late!”
Fighting side-by-side, the Twinhorn following and Pathfinders have carved a path to the stone circle. This affords only a brief opening to stop the undead army, and the fighting will be difficult.
@Table GMs: You have until November 20 to run encounter J on page 38. The “Uncertain Opportunity” condition on page 38 is in effect.

MichaelCullen |

The remaining Tinhorns and Pathfinders aid you in dispatching the remaining undead by the cave. But midnight is fast approaching and it seems that the rift is already forming.
The strange medium-sized creature hovers several feet off the ground in the center of the circle of stones and undulating dark tentacles. The creature has four tentacles of its own, each at least ten feet long. The flying monstrosity leads four ghostly crusaders that float just above the ground. They wear chain shirts and a light steel shields and are armed with a longbow and a longsword. Despite their phantom-like appearance, their armor and weapons seem quite solid.
Only the light of a few stars shines this night and the shadow plane is leaking out of the right, those with low light vision can see up until the circle. Inside the circle itself, it is magical, though not supernatural darkness. A torch will not raise the light level, but a strong spell might. Dark vision works fine within the circle. You can peek under the darkness when you move within a range in which you can see into it. For example if you have 60 feet of dark vision, you can peek under it when you are within 60 feet.
