PFS #4-16 Fabric of Reality
A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5–9.

For the past year, the Pathfinder Society has used the isolated demiplane contained in the Hao Jin Tapestry as a private adventuring realm and, since discovering a backdoor out of the demiplane, as a shortcut from the tapestry's location to a hidden corner of Varisia. But the tapestry wasn't designed for this purpose, and travel from Absalom to Varisia could be more efficient. Now a team of Pathfinders must discover how the infamous sorcerer known as the Ruby Phoenix created her private demiplane and enter the heart of the tapestry and alter the very nature of the magical realm.

Written by Tom Philips, RPG Superstar 2012 finalist.

Players must commit to daily posts. This will happen over the holidays so I know there will be some periods of quiet. Likewise I am away from the 'puter one day a week (for sanity reasons), but in general want regular posts.

Preference will be given to folks who have less access to other cons. Please let me know why this might be you. This is not a requirement, so if you are interested please post.

Players must not have played this scenario for credit and must have legal PFS characters seeking PFS credit. Pregen's are an option, but only if you do not have a character in tier. Remember you cannae play this character in any other game during the duration of this PbP.

Players should also list their character/s's levels.

I use google docs for map & chronicle, just FYI.

I'm very interested in playing this scenario. I haven't had the chance to play the higher level ones from season 4, and the blurb really appeals to me. Here goes my application:

Character's Name & Level: Rysalius, level 7 bard
Daily posts: I check the boards at least twice a day, though I'm in the European timezone. I'm a frequent poster.
Con access: I'm living in Switzerland, so we only have one real PFS Con per year (GardenCon), and sadly we don't have much chance to play many scenarios. Moreover, being the father of a seven months-old child, I can't go to most PFS gameday in other cities. I'm often at home, hence my focus on PbP.
PFS legal: PFS number 76446-2 (76446-4 for alternate character)
Scenario legal: I haven't played that scenario, obviously.
Secondary character: Ouroboreia, level 5 (may be 6th by then) wizard

Yeah, I get that a lot as a reason cons are difficult. One of the reasons I offer the preference :)

I have not played this scenario before, so I want to express interest.

Daily posts: I post very regularly here on the boards.
Con access: My only Pathfinder games are here online, so no cons for me.

Scenario legal: Double checking, but I think I haven't played it.
Secondary character: I don't have a free secondary character at this level range right now.

Pai is just finishing up another level of Thornkeep, and should be ready and levelled in the next few days.

Haris is the friend, and I know both Rysalius and Pai as well. If you want 2 more players, we could probably scrounge them up. :)

No worries, we have a week of recruitment left :) I haven't received the scenario yet, so do not know if any of the four basic roles need (better?) filling.

My other thread is empty though, if you know anyone interested in playing the Sanos Abduction.

I've already played it, and most of the players I know have as well.

If there is still room, Omrax would be interested, especially if Rysalius and Haris are in. :-)

Here here! Although we're probably still a little euphoric from basically strolling through three encounters in Fortress of Nail without a fight, and straight to the last boss and cleaned house in 3 rounds.

Yep, Fortress of the Nail went as smoothly as I could have ever imagined! The Diplomacy ability of the party was out of control...

Since we have not yet started, there is another table of 7-11 that may fold. I was potentially going to offer Omrax for that table and bring a fat, undiplomatic dwarf inquisitor 6th here if that would be acceptable?

We will start Saturday with the mission briefing, but you are welcome to wait in the Lantern Lodge in the city of Goka on the western coast of Tian Xian. The city is nearly as large as Absalom, and serves as a center of both culture and trade in the Dragon Empires.
