Kawrock's staff splatters a little more of the jelly, but it keeps coming, lunging back at the tengu, but only singing his armor a little.

The group then smashes it into tiny harmless jiggling pieces of goo.
Considering it has an AC of 4 and 3 hp left, I'll call this combat over.
The jagged northwestern tunnel travels for about 500 feet before emerging amid a tangle of brush onto a riverbank north of Thornkeep. This seems to be a recent passage, and was likely the entrance used by Iklavni and her tomb robbers.
There are still a couple areas unexplored in the Vaults. Now what?

Thorgrim senses something... a twinge in the back of his head. There is a door that still stands around here.
Yelling, Thorgrim runs back through the complex and does a flying leap with his Piston Maul at the last remaining door in the building. I come for you, my mortal enemy! DOOR SMASH!
Looks like 4 rounds to get to the door and smash it.

DM Rah |

Bashing through the northwestern door, Thorgrim and Oloch come to a strangely shaped room consisting of two wings. To the east, a low bench wraps around the walls. To the west, a larger wing opens into what appears to be a strange laboratory. In alcoves to the north and south are strange contraptions resembling iron cages fitted with human-sized openings. A curving worktable sits against the laboratory’s wall where another strange alien strange creature stands picking through gory heaps of flesh and bone arrayed on across the bench. Unnaturally graceful, the creature is a nightmarish cross between a wasp and plant. It has a bulbous fungoid lump for a head, spiny insectoid wings, and a tangle of spiky, clawed legs.
It's head turns to regard your interruption with a half-dozen small black eyes and reaches for a wand strapped to one of its legs.
This creature is a Mi-go. They are scientists and colonists—extraterrestrial travelers from the Dark Tapestry who view the universe as a canvas to be mastered and controlled.
Although a mi-go’s shape might suggest an arthropod, especially with its long, insectlike limbs and diaphanous wings, the creature is in fact a highly evolved form of extraterrestrial fungus. Mi-go communicate via a combination of clicking of pincers and subtle shifts in the coloration of their bulbous heads—other creatures can learn this language, but without similar biologies (or the ability to mimic these noises and colors with illusions) can only hope to “listen” to a mi-go. A mi-go can speak in a strange, buzzing voice, but generally only does so when forced to speak to other creatures.
Mi-go are often viewed as gods or demons by the more primitive societies they encounter, and are fond of capitalizing upon these fears to further their own agendas. Masters of disguise, they often infiltrate societies so as to better manipulate, harvest, and eventually consume the society for their own needs. Despite their skill in this regard, they generally keep the core strongholds of their operations in remote regions—hilly and mountainous areas are favored for the preponderance of caves and other natural features that are easily converted into defensible hideouts.
A mi-go's claws are capable of swiftly and painfully performing surgical operations upon helpless creatures or creatures it has grappled.
Mi-go are immune to cold and resistant to non-slashing weapons.
Mi-go are resistant to fire and electricity.

The alien creature scuttles away from Thorgrim, stepping inside Barley's reach, and casting a spell. Thorgrim feels a tingling over his body.

Ali's spell has absolutely no effect on the mi-go. Maybe its fungoid nature is immune to mental magics, or its alien mind is beyond the concept of boredom. But probably it just finds Ali way too interesting.

Thorgrim reminded me of a tricky ability the mi-go possesses. James Jacobs commented on it, but was not totally precise in his explanation. Anyway, it does get a little more damage this round vs Thorgrim, plus a possible secondary effect.

Feeling the mi-go draining his strength as a result of the grapple, Oloch calls upon the power of Gorum to bless him with fervor to gain some health back.
Using Fervor to spontaneously cast cure moderate wounds as a swift action without somatic components and without drawing an AoO.
As a swift action, a warpriest can expend one use of this ability to cast any one warpriest spell he has prepared. When cast in this way, the spell can target only the warpriest, even if it could normally affect other or multiple targets.
