Thorgrim stands up, after receiving the healing from The Amazing Ali. Your aid is appreciated, Master Ansari.
He moves to the east 5' and prepares an attack for if the woman steps closer to him.

She stabs with her daggers, but only manages to give Oloch a small cut.

Ali injures the woman with a magic missiles, but Oloch's swing goes wide. Very wide.
Barley stands around, preparing to give chase, but the woman seems unconcerned with her own safety.
Thorgrim rejoins the fight with a powerful blow from his maul that smashes the woman into the ground. He only realizes after calling for her surrender that she can no longer do that do to extreme unconsciousness.

"What a grand opening!" Ali announces. "Let's get healed up quickly and look around!"
If you have wands, Ali will heal you. If you don't have your own, let me know how many charges you need and Ali will use his on you. Either way, roll your own to keep things moving.

While Thorgrim shouts at the unconscious woman Kawrock pulls out a wand. "I do not think she is capable of hearing you now Thorgrim." Humans have such strange practices. He uses his wand to heal his wounds.

With the immediate area seemingly safe, the party is able to look around this grand vaulted chamber. Of particular interest in the room are the various displays. Each has a carved description of the contents within.
This hall has a few objects of interest. Also, should I assume you search the tieflings and woman, or are you just moving on?

Gorum will be satisfied with the destruction of the next door! Rovagug will be pleased as well! The Breaker of Barriers! Thorgrim states to Oloch as he moves to the next door. Does this door satisfy, Master Ansari?

Ali detects magic in the room with the tieflings and all future rooms we search. He will check over their bodies for anything useful but leave anything combat-oriented to his bulkier companions.
| DM Rah |
A search of the tieflings and the woman finds the following: 4 suits of studded leahter, 4 short swords, 4 light crossbows, 65 crossbow bolts, a masterwork chain shirt, masterwork hand crossbow with 9 bolts, 2 masterwork punching daggers, everburning torch, mwk thieves’ tools.
Of particular interest are an old map and some notes found on the woman.
The map is old and faded, but contains a rough drawing of Thornkeep, and with a telltale X marks a spot along a riverbank a short distance north of town.
The notes reveal that the woman is indeed the tomb robber Iklavni. She recorded her thoughts about the treasure she and her allies might find in the Enigma Vaults (though doesn't list any actually found), and seems to indicate her actions here under Thornkeep are not part of a greater plot by Daggermark to move against the town.
The notes also refer to the map and its origon. Many years ago an enterprising team of tomb robbers utilizing earth elementals dug a winding tunnel from a dry creek north of Thornkeep to the Enigma Vaults. These tomb robbers didn’t delve far, but they made a map of their route. How the map came to be in Iklavni's possession isn't mentioned.
With the immediate area seemingly safe, the party is able to look around this grand vaulted chamber. Of particular interest in the room are the various displays. Each has a carved description of the contents within. (See map for letter designations)
a. “Talon of Borvadagen”: This strange, spiked gauntlet is made of weirdly flexible red wood studded with what appear to be shark teeth made of glass. (magical)
Functions as a +1 keen spiked gauntlet, but has a -2 penalty to attack rolls due to anatomical differences from a normal humanoid hand.
b. “Mithral Rifle”: A damaged firearm made of mithral with four barrels sits on display
here. Images of antlike humanoids wielding firearms are carved into the stock. (magical)
Is a +1 mithril pepperbox rifle, but is considered destroyed and unusable.
c. “Bloodstones of Gultariix”: This is a collection of what look like solidified droplets and splatters of blood, 11 in all, arranged on a wooden rack.
If placed into a potion, a bloodstone dissolves and affects the potion as if it were enhanced by the Extend Spell metamagic feat.
d. “Alien Fungoid Equipment”: This display is empty.
e. “Dragonkin Saddle”: This strangely shaped saddle. (though not magical, something in it radiates magic)
You discover a small pulsating black buglike object inside a hidden pocket in the saddle.
f. “Thystian Cat”: This is a strange skeleton of a 12-footlong, feline-like creature with eight legs and a long snout. The bones are partially translucent.
g. “Deactivated Alien Construct”: The huge mechanical object heaped on this platform is a blasted and destroyed robot similar to those that dwell in the nation of Numeria.
h. “Dominion of the Black Pod”: This 12-foot-tall pod of strange leathery material covered with sharp, spiny scales.
i. “The Hungry Eyes of Melos”: An 8-foot-tall, frosty glass jar sits here. The jar is filled with brine, and swimming within are hundreds of strangely colored eyeballs that trail wriggling, finned tendrils. The eyes themselves open like tiny fanged maws, scratching their teeth against the glass when anyone approaches.
j. “The Banes of Barad-Shull”: This L-shaped glass case contains three items: a spear crafted from the leg of an immense insect, a bag that looks like a freshly excised stomach, and a tan cloth bag. (all three are magical)
A +2 shortspear.
A bag of holding type I.
A tan bag of tricks.

"Ah! A bag of tricks! Fantastic! I will take that one. The rest you lot can fight over."
Marking off 7 charges from the wand. Ali IDs all of it, so go ahead and take what you want from the pile.
Thorgrim the Bold Strider
|
Thorgrim disdainfully looks at the loot. I need nothing from this pile.
Can't make the Perception DC for whatever is there.
Once the party is ready, Thorgrim will bash down the door!
| DM Rah |
Ali is pretty confidant in his identifications, so much that he realizes the last three items have hidden qualities and are, in truth, cursed.
The spear is a backbiter, the stomach bag is a bag of devouring, and though the tan bag is indeed a bag of tricks, anything summoned by it is uncontrolled and will attack the nearest creature.
Are any objects taken?
Ali Khalid Mustafa Ansari
|
Lol, nope! Good thing I invested in that wand of identify! Learned that trick from my RoW group; after they encountered one cursed item they burned a charge of identify on every magical item they encountered. Not a bad idea.
Ali stops everyone from touching the cursed items. "Maybe the advice not to touch anything was actually made in good faith...."

Huzzah! A great day for the Breaker of Barriers! Thorgrim moves into the room. Which door, Master Ansari?
Thorgrim the Bold Strider
|
Left-1; Right-2: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Immediately, Master Ansari. Thorgrim moves up to the left door and bashes through it!
| DM Rah |
The door was slightly open already as Thorgrim applies his maul, sending it slamming into a wall and rattling on its hinges. Inside is a small chamber with an upraised dais in an alcove to the south holds a four-foot-diameter geode that’s been cracked into two halves. The inside of the geode glitters with strange green crystals. A mound of green crystalline fragments and twisted strips of flaking green metal lies to the west where.
Three strange creatures are rising from the ground. They appear like hairless blue lions with long twin tentacular tails and dozens more small tentacles twitching where a mane should be. The bear black teeth and move to attack.
You recognize these creatures as Akatas, aberrations that are rumored to hail from a strange, distant planet that long ago succumbed to a cataclysmic end. It was said akatas clung to fragments of the dead planet, entering hibernation and riding these asteroids until they eventually crashed upon Golarion.
You have heard they do not need to breath, are resistant to fire, and are deaf.
They also have the ability to inflict a supernatural disease upon those they bite, which can turn them into zombies if not cured.
