Hooray! Welcome to the party, Uesugi! Heryn Gale is just about to come collect you guys so you can collect a package for Drandle Dreng.

GM Mjolbeard |

Alice: I did see what kind of oracle Saritirnen is! Should be fun having TWO of you in the mix. -__- Oh and thanks for double-checking on his build. I did that a bit with everybody, but I'm sure I've missed some stuff.
Zavubak: Lucky thing that Frankie killed it in fixing that plank or you'd be in the hole...literally! And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why it's always good to have a rogue. :P

I'm sure at some point you'll see some reasons why it ISN'T good to have a rogue! I'm sure some natty 1's will pop up on some bluff checks at some point....
PS, Frankie will have a helpful/useful rogue build as well, keeping those mean nasty traps at bay, hopefully at least. I've already decided to change both, or at least 1 trait and swap some ability points around.

I'm reminded of a certain evil clown in a certain book... "They all float down here!" IT! Great book if you've never read it.
Any time!

![]() |

An elf! You totally should have used the same portrait as Mr Peppers...

![]() |

UGH!!! lol I picked one that fit the image of an elf haunted by his ancestors :)

![]() |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Yes it is fitting for your character. This is going to be weird and wacky with two haunted oracles out with the other totally normal characters.. *cough*

Meredith's Eidolon |

Yaaay! Normal characters! Unlike those freak adult humans like Meredith!

![]() |

By the way, I got that It the clown reference. The movie made from that book terrified me as a child, especially the shower scene with the blood... Yikes

![]() |

Yes it is a great way to get people to fear clowns. The book is of course even better, but the movie was pretty good too.

![]() |

I only saw the movie a good number of years ago.
Though i think i saw the 1st 2 hellraiser movies prior to that....i think i was a small kid back then. :P
Maybe not fearing the IT movie has a reason.

GM Mjolbeard |

Yeah I haven't seen any of those movies. I'm pretty much a coward when it comes to horror/thriller movies. Hahaha

![]() |

I just rewatched that scene where the clown's in the sewer and the kid loses his paper boat. It's funny how watching it 15-20 years later just isn't the same... It's just plain cheesy now, almost comical.

![]() |

Anyone remember the first Nightmare on Elm Street? It's practically a comedy now due to the overdose of blood. One victim is crushed by a folding bed and it causes some kind of blood geyser.
Horror movies age best when they get into your head. I first saw The Thing maybe 7 years ago and that is still in my head, somewhere.
I have managed not to see any Alien franchise film so far. I really want to compare the first two to see how you can make a horror and action movie using the same setting and mostly the same cast.

GM Mjolbeard |

I've seen bits and pieces of Elm Street, the aforementioned blood geyser scene in particular. That...might have given 9 year old me a few restless nights. Same with the Child's Play movies.

![]() |

The Aliens series is excellent. The first was the creepiest but all were entertaining.
I think I've decided to drop down Frankie's mental stats to help justify his running around willy nilly acting like he's an 8yr old... his mind needs to be on that level as well.

GM Mjolbeard |

Hey Saritirnen, could you add your character info into the table in the slide show, please? It's currently slide 3. Should just take a moment. Thanks!

![]() |

Going out of town, sorry for the poor timing! See ya in a few days.

![]() |

Hmm, I think I need to tweak my eidolon. Fey Caller eidolon don't get claw attacks, I think.
The base form is a simple biped form similar to azata eidolons. Looks like Azata can't get claws, either. It's confusing because the default biped form gets claws. Must be a copy paste error on Paizo's behalf...
I'll turn those Claws into a Slam, I guess.

GM Mjolbeard |

Yeah, I've been kinda confused about the build too. I can't even find that archetype in Archives of Nethys. What book is it from?
If it is supposed to be like an Azata, then yes, it should be slams rather than claws. Luckily, I don't think that affects your damage output or anything, so no harm done. :D

![]() |

The Fey Caller is from Ultimate Intrigue, under the archetypes section.
The Articles of Nethys site hasn't added anything from UI. The host has been out of commission for a few months due to back pain, though.
Hmm, not even Pathfinder's prd has the archetype on there. The only place with it online is d20pfsrd
Oh well, no biggie. There's a reason I took Extra Evolution at first level!

GM Mjolbeard |

Oooohhhh!!! Gotcha. Cool. I was just a bit confused. Thanks for clearing that up.

![]() |

Frankie has returned! I'll be making a post as soon as I can. I can tell you all missed lil Frankie!

![]() |

Also, please don't take this as rule lawyering, but Frankie should have cover as far as I understand it if the brute attacked him from that position, putting his AC up to 22. If he was able to move up another 5' then I'm still squished. Figured I'd mention it since this was kind of a learning run.

Meredith's Eidolon |

Keeping me in suspense, here! Hopefully that spell wasn't True Strike!

GM Mjolbeard |

Hey folks! We're getting near the end of the scenario here, and I'm working on putting together chronicles. In that spirit, could any of you who have one please give me a Day Job roll?

![]() |

No day jobs for Frankie either. He focuses his time and energy at playing board games and convincing people to buy him cocoa. No time for a 'real' job!

![]() |

Profession (Farmhand): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
This will do nicely.

GM Mjolbeard |

Thanks guys! We're almost there, keep up the good work and we'll be done with these punks in no time!

Meredith's Eidolon |

I used my GM Star to do a reroll on Denair's attack. I think I did it after you mentioned she missed... or this elf has 20+ AC.

GM Mjolbeard |

I did miss that. Your attack hit, though the caster negated most of the damage when she channelled. You're chipping away at them now, though. Maybe Saritirnen will be able to put Red down for good!
