Lucky, I think you would not have gotten the AoO because of the mist, you can't see her when she is casting the spell.
The centipede fails to land its maws on the human, but it was a moot point anyway when he gets taken down by his own ally's spell. Unfortunately for her, the spellcaster's gamble failed as the spray of colors wash over Lucky and Jomal harmlessly.
The centipede swings around and rips into the spellcaster's flesh. She screams in pain, more angry than fearful. Lucky finishes the job as he steps in, knocking her unconscious with a mighty swing of his staff sling.
Combat over!
While Pathfinders restore Hoshi back to consciousness and patching up wounds while the rest tie up and gag the two remaining alive would-be thugs. Little could be done for the other two, however.
On the way back to the Grand Lodge, the Pathfinders drop the two off at the local constabulary while sharing in detail the location of the ambush. With a request not to leave the city while they investigate, the watchmen thanks the Pathfinders for their deeds.
Back at the Grand Lodge, Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin invites the Pathfinders to share their adventure for the day. He thanks you for carrying out his tasks, and assures them that not every mission for the Pathfinder Society involves running errands about Absalom. He also points out how any missions could have unplanned surprises like the ambush, which he praised the Pathfinders for their teamwork despite a difficult situation. Finally, he congratulates you on proving their skill and responsibility, and promises a new assignment in the near future to take them beyond Absalom’s unassailable walls.
Game over!

Aurk goes around, patting everyone on the back and giving a thumbs up. "Good Job!" he enthusiastically gives to everyone.
Ninura Hoshi

"Good job, yourself, pal!" Hoshi replies, clapping Aurk on the back. "Thanks for making sure I'm not street-meat!" she winks at Aurk.
