The look-alike’s information take the party straight south across the market to a blank, wooden structure straddling the line between the market and a secured residential district. All seems quiet, though a small group of guards are speaking to one another quietly out front in Skald.
Behind the group of guards, the front door to the armory is made of a heavy, thick wood and is bound by iron. At several points across the door, visible cracks and splintered wood can be seen. The battered door stands slightly ajar, opening inward to darkness.
Before leaving for this land, Henry has been briefed by Zarta on the local powers-that-be. It looks like these men are part of the forces of castellan Darkwine, and somewhat official law-enforcers.

Eyeing the group of guards Magoll comments "I don't like the idea of attacking them without a good reason. So is being smelly good enough reason or do they need to be ugly too?"

A short hallway greets the adventurers as they enter the armory. Bits of shattered wood and iron are strewn across the floor and disappear into darkness. Suddenly, the silence is disturbed by a yipping sound, somewhere hallway between the squeaking of a rat and the barking of a dog. Goblins!

The room to the west of the main hallway contains six bodies wearing the same armor and livery as the guards out front. They’re all dead, injured by both magical and mundane means, and some of them appear to have recently been chewed on.
Also here, faintly audible, is the scuff of a boot upstairs. Somebody is there!
The stairs up lead to two sets of corridors, one on each side of the building. with doors to six separate rooms.
