Which would make it analogous to drawing a weapon, which anyone with a minimum +1 BAB can do as a free action while moving. Your call, of course.

El Shadow grabs for Brayden's chest again, sapping his strength.

Mykel steps back and draws a vial of blessed water, with the shadow's name on it.
Mercutio grabs his fire wand and moves forth to scorch it the next turn.

Licen's quick observations doesn't turn up things of use yet. Aside from the fire and its contents of burn remains and property, it's rather empty.

With Brayden, the first intruder, stepping back, the shadow looks between you quickly, its eerie glowing eyes shining with malice.
Attacking: 1 Brayden, 2 Other: 1d2 ⇒ 1
It glides 5ft forward.
Ghostly Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16Str sap: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Maladash forces the re roll, as he stated earlier in discussion.
Ghostly Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Once again it reaches for Brayden's chest, weakening the paladin badly.
This is because of the dex damage you suffered from earlier, lowering touch to 10.

Well, I see it in Hero Lab. I suspect I bought it on Mercutio's advice to buy some, but didn't update Paizo.
Since I didn't, we can assume I didn't buy any. However, I'd like to change my action to withdraw in that case, so I'd be pretty far from the shadow.
That shadow is way OP.

Ironically, Licen has moved strategically.
The person who became the shadow, was afraid of fire....and to get to him it needs to get close to fire again, aside from its opening rush.

Maladash's weapon would be a tool of murder, but as his morningstar lands where the face of the spirit would connect with it, it slowly fades through.
In return a spasmic twitch of the head at him ensues, along with a sharp hiss.

DM: I tried angling myself specifically so no one else would get hurt. I thought I'd managed that. If there was some other location that would have worked better, please consider me to have moved there instead.

that's a bit rough... cure spells are channeled positive energy it even says so in the description and a fricking incorporeal undead for lvl 1's is ridiculous enough
Str applies to touch attack hit rolls, but I applied the Cure light wounds damage of 1d8+1 and my studied target bonus to damage... which it looks like is weapon only and I didn't damage it with a weapon... so ake 1 off .. the attack bonus would apply

There's quite a confusion about that being channeled energy, actually.

I'm just saying, given that my strength comes from my undead lineage, and the shadow's Strength drain is a sort of negative energy effect, you'd think that...you know what I'm saying?

That's right, +5 damage, not +6, sorry: +1 for spell level, +2 luck bonus via combination of divine favor spell and fate's favored trait & +2 as it counts as my favorite enemy right now.

Divine favor calls for weapons specifically, and mentions it doesn't apply to spell damage. 8 positive energy not resisted +2 FE.
I noticed i counted 1 dmg too many on that 4 from Licen's dmg. 5 positive /2, +1 ST.
After Maladash's spell, you see the shadow writhing in spams, if it were alive something akin to pain.
It needs just 1 more hit.

Since in even the best case, the shadow can't be staggered, Mercutio takes the greater good in mind and puts everybody to the torch.
Combat over.
Reflex Maladash: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Reflex Licen: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Reflex Mykel: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
All three avoid the worst, but stil get their skin burnt.
I've got to run this for pure lvl 1 some time.
