This is a Necrophidius. It is often mistaken for undead, but is in fact a construct. As such, it has construct traits. It is a mindless creature. It also had damage resistance against all weapons that are not bludgeoning weapons.

The Necrophidius's bite paralyzes the victim. It also has a dance it can perform to daze everyone within 30 ft. of it.

(If that's not sufficient she'll take 20, since you can try locks again with no consequences)


You would have to take 20.

This vault was looted long ago, and contains only one thing — an ornately carved stone sarcophagus about a foot from the north wall. There are carvings of ancient Thassilon on the sarcophagus. The sarcophagus is currently closed.
