About Kayde:
Kayde has a simple, earthy, welcoming appeal. There’s a certain open, square-jawed handsomeness to his half-orc features. And while he doesn’t look very bright—a perception quickly confirmed when he speaks—he’s got an approachable, welcoming demeanor that most people find comforting. He is friendly and outgoing, and loves meeting new people as much as he loves the idea of seeing new places. And—like all Cayleanites—he’s got a stubborn belief in the rights of all free-thinking creatures, and the belief that it’s the responsibility of those with the strength to defend those rights wherever he goes.

Born in the Coins district of Absolom.
Mother runs a tavern in the Coins, and a firm follower of Cayden Cailean. Kayde got his love of travel and freedom from her, as well as her good looks, warm personality, love of travel, love of people, and—unfortunately—her simple mind.
Faher was an Adventurer and Pathfinder, affiliated with the Silver Crusade. Kayde got his stubborn streak, physical robustness, and strong religious beliefs from him. Kayde also got his falchion—one of his signature items, which is currently being repaired—from his father, who was killed on a mission when Kayde was young.
Kayde was raised in his mother's tavern and the streets of Absolom, particularly the docks and the Coins. He also spent a fair amount of time wandering near the Grand Lodge, looking forward to the day he could take up his father's legacy.
