Roles at the Opera:

Leading Male (Sheng) There are two leading male roles for the performance, the General and the Monkey King.
The General wears a long beard and fights with a wooden sword (1d8 nonlethal) and armor (treat as splint mail).
The Monkey King wears an elaborate monkey mask. The Monkey King is portrayed as an acrobat and trickster and is permitted to cast spells.

Leading Females (Dan) There are two leading female roles, the Warrior Woman and the Wizened Crone.
The Warrior Woman wears full armor (treat as splint mail) and peacock feathers, and fights with a dulled, bladed polearm (1d8 nonlethal).
The Wizened Crone wears long robes and walks with a cane. She is permitted to cast spells.

Painted Faces (Jing) The Jing role represents a strong and forceful male. The two choices for this performance are the Noble Warrior and the Cruel Bandit.
Noble Warrior wears red face paint and full armor (treat as splint mail), and wields a large club (1d10 nonlethal).

The Cruel Bandit wears blue face paint and wields a long wooden knife (1d4 nonlethal), specially balanced to allow a capable individual to make nonlethal sneak attacks with it.

Clowns (Chou) (2) These humorous characters are allowed to speak with the audience in order to make jokes at their opponents’ expense. Chou are also permitted to cast spells. Male Chou identify their characters by painting wide white circles around their eyes. Female Chou paint their faces red with black circles about the eyes. Clown costumes do not include weapons; however, Chou can carry and wield a broom or stick (treat as an improvised weapon dealing 1d6 nonlethal damage), claiming it to be whatever weapon they desire for the sake of performance and comedic value.

Overseer thread

A lone Pathfinder suddenly breaks through the gaping wall of elementals and runs towards the Emissary’s platform, leading the charge. It is Jin-Goro of the Exchange faction!

Cheers erupt from fellow Pathfinders as they rally to keep the gap open whilst the brave and desperate lone figure races forward.

Jin-Goro reaches to touch the platform, but as he does, the Emissary bursts into a maddening laugh, and with a wave of his hand, the platform erupts into a shower of smoke, sparks, and cherry blossoms. Before your eyes, eight monks dressed in the robes of their sifu appear, standing in a circular formation atop the platform. With a calm grace, each one assumes a combat stance. Behind the wall of qinggong disciples, the Sifu again calmly seats himself. He closes his eyes, folds his legs, and sits in the lotus position, awaiting the victors.

This is it - the finale!

Deluges pet dog appears from thin air, doing little to help the situation.

Elneth charges towards the disguised Faeria, and luckily misses her.

The monk steps back from the dog and directs a ray of scorching heat at it.

"You're ruining it." The masked oni says in a calm but exasperated woman's whisper. "Now I can't get up close enough to splash the monk with pretty colors. That, and you missed me by a mile even with all that running, and stuff. What are you a wizard? I mean 'Yaaargh' who actually says that with that many 'a' sounds? It should just be 'Yarg' short, with a hard 'g' on the down stroke. You're like those grunty guys at the gymnasium. And when do you ever attack the referee in one of these things? Huh? The oni whistles pretty well considering the state of oni orthodonture. It then holds its arms and hands out to it's sides.

"Penalty! Number 134452-7! Unsportsbeinglike Conduct! 20 yards!" The oni points back the way Elneth came.

The oni steps back 5 feet. Twiddles her fingers, waves her huge honking steel greatclub, and mutters something. While pointing just north of Elneth's direction.

spellcraft DC 16:
silent image (DC 17). The illusion is one of thin, stone pillars reaching up from the floor around the monk (10 x 10 area) to the ceiling (or 40 feet whichever is shorter) caging the monk.

Remember to take the flank bonus if you plop yourself opposite of the eagle. that's what its there for really because it sure as heck isn't going to be hitting much.

Amarion sends another jet of acid at the monk, who steps aside to avoid it.

The oni cries out and columns appear...

But the monk is wise to the illusions now. What he isn't wise to is the eagle appearing behind him who scratches him nastily.

Victoria closes on the monk and stabs him, but only once. Sir Ninn then kicks the other monk, annoying him futher.

The monk diverts his attacks between the eagle and Victoria.

I am totally confused now. Is Faeria the oni?
Rereading I cannot see any post she told us she is going to disguise as an oni and thus we should not attack her, nor I can even read a post where she actually does anything to disguise herself.
On this situation Elneth would keep attacking the oni, but for the sake of the game I will go against roleplatying here and just ignore the oni as if it did not exist.

Disguise self happens here when Faeria was out of sight--having taken a double move to get behind some pillars. No one has really said boo to her except Elneth, and Deluge so I'm not sure teamwork is a thing here. Cooperate sure, but it seems most folks are basically doing their own thing. If that ends up looking like the Three Stooges go Dungeoneering, well that happens with a lot of new groups.

I'm not exactly sure why anyone here would attack anyone who looks like the judge of this whole event (the reason I picked the disguise), but I figure it is one of those heat of the moment things and that's fine it's a fight after all. Faeria's voice is pretty much the same regardless, maybe a little gruffer when she told everyone to stop, but now that the jig is up there isn't a lot of need to disguise it.

I don't think you can officially charge up these steps.

The Oni who on second glances seems to sound a lot like Faeria moves up the stairs. Elneth ignores the odd oni and heads up the stairs towards the rapidly being surrounded monk. She takes a swipe but misses him.
