Roles at the Opera:

Leading Male (Sheng) There are two leading male roles for the performance, the General and the Monkey King.
The General wears a long beard and fights with a wooden sword (1d8 nonlethal) and armor (treat as splint mail).
The Monkey King wears an elaborate monkey mask. The Monkey King is portrayed as an acrobat and trickster and is permitted to cast spells.

Leading Females (Dan) There are two leading female roles, the Warrior Woman and the Wizened Crone.
The Warrior Woman wears full armor (treat as splint mail) and peacock feathers, and fights with a dulled, bladed polearm (1d8 nonlethal).
The Wizened Crone wears long robes and walks with a cane. She is permitted to cast spells.

Painted Faces (Jing) The Jing role represents a strong and forceful male. The two choices for this performance are the Noble Warrior and the Cruel Bandit.
Noble Warrior wears red face paint and full armor (treat as splint mail), and wields a large club (1d10 nonlethal).

The Cruel Bandit wears blue face paint and wields a long wooden knife (1d4 nonlethal), specially balanced to allow a capable individual to make nonlethal sneak attacks with it.

Clowns (Chou) (2) These humorous characters are allowed to speak with the audience in order to make jokes at their opponents’ expense. Chou are also permitted to cast spells. Male Chou identify their characters by painting wide white circles around their eyes. Female Chou paint their faces red with black circles about the eyes. Clown costumes do not include weapons; however, Chou can carry and wield a broom or stick (treat as an improvised weapon dealing 1d6 nonlethal damage), claiming it to be whatever weapon they desire for the sake of performance and comedic value.

Still need a second diplomacy to explain what has happened and the mistake he made to resolve the situation.

The bystanders turn away as the action starts to die down a bit, all avoiding the stinking pathfinder team.

Faeria steps into what she guesses in the 'bath-room'. It is all very novel for her. She looks about to see if there are any mapmakers about sketching the room. She also wonders why there is a bed, and chest in the room and no tub-thingy.

Faeria gets clean, as do Victoria and Sir Ninn. Elneth valiantly guards the door ensuring that nothing except hot water can disturb Sir Ninn's bath

Deluge and Amarion make the most of their free time, enjoying a small meal - well as much as they can while stinking of sewers.

Then, at last it is time for a change, and the freshly washed pathfinder emerge, smelling distinctly sweeter than when they went in. It is then their turn to eat, and enjoy their meals while their stinky brethren wash the filth of Absalom from their clothes and skins.

Faeria, Sir Ninn and Victoria investigate the vase to find theatre tickets for early the next morning.

"Are either of you 'Amarion'?" She asks casually of the two people, or figments seated with her. She keeps her head down, concentrating on her cutting her baked potato. It's bad enough to acknowledge unknown, imaginary people by talking to them let a lone looking at them. One of them may have mentioned his name (the little one maybe), but with so little sleep it was too hard to remember.

"I think I just heard a shout, and it made me think the word 'Amarion'." She mutters knowing how it must look to the real people around her, but pretending not to care. Some of them might not be real either. "This is really good!"

What's a naked guy to do? Grapple! If he has a full round if he will move action to stand, 5' step, and grapple blue. He will use a boon from The Sky Key Solution (Timelost Chronicler) granting him a +1 on any one 20 sided roll per scenario.

grapple attempt: 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4 vs. flat footed CMD.

If he can't grapple because he only has one standard action in a surprise round, he will stand up because that is all he can do. With that crappy roll I rather hopt that is the case.

I was kind of running the surprise round as either it happens it doesn't depending on your perception roll and then moving to a standard round. Due to the confusion, I'll let you keep your +1 for another roll.

Victoria stands, steps towards the door and throws it open to allow others through. With the door opened, the sounds of combat can be heard from the corridor.

The assassin, for surely these are none other, facing Amarion is unconscious on the floor, literally floored by the elfs magic.

The man facing a naked Deluge draws his sword and slashes at the druid.

Elneth avoids the blow, then still covered just by the soap's scum, she quickly snatches her cold iron dagger and answers with a fast attack at the assailant.

oopse, sorry don't know how I missed this. I should have just NPCed Victoria yesterday. Her posting seems eratic, so if we are waiting on her more than a day, anyone may feel free to put in a post for her, or a poke to me.

Faeria clears the table while Elneth battles with the dangerous soap.

Victoria hurries down the hall and tries to attack the first conscious assassin she can see, the one battling Deluge.

Caught between the two, he decides to try and finish off Deluge quickly.

Luckily the poison wore off after the first strike.

She rushes past Deluge's open door munching on something, and trying to avert her eyes from the naked illusory man. Nothing to see. Nothing to see.

Coming to--well she doesn't know the woman's name yet--coming to the screaming woman's room she attempts to clamp her hands over Ninn's eyes. Even if he is pure imagination the boy's obviously too young to see--did he call her Elneth?

"Oh? hello. Are you 'Elneth'?"

She pulls a fresh plate of butter out of her sack, and uses it to weave a spell.

Deluge, sensing that help is at hand, adopts a defensive stance. Victoria helps out, smiting the man who goes down in a heap at her feet.

Amarion isn't feeling the slightest bit merciful towards the unconscious man on the ground, especially because he will wake all too soon.

I guess that is just a move action. since he has a standard left, he then casts storm burst on green (or any other assassin) if he can see him.

To hit ranged touch: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

I'm a bit confused. The room Deluge is in has no doors or windows. The red oppnent is upside down which suggests that it has been KOed. Green is right side up which suggests it has not - but there is no door or anything. These are baths so maybe the walls are curtains? Unless that ever-so-slightly greyer patch to the south is a door?
