"Oh, I wouldn't have just hurt you...." She grins in a nonthreatening way.

Ha! Nice try birdbrain!
If able without friendly fire, Amarion will Color Spray the Tengu in round 2 (Not sure if Initiative needs to be rolled first/positioning is correct)
There's a tengu?

"There's a tengu?"

There was a Tengu, but he is hard to see through all those colours.

Perception 2: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
The half-elf is not surprised by the stalking tengu appearance, but she is by the burst of colors coming from Amarion.
Once the body of the tengu remains stunned at the ground, Elneth steps close to him, saves her axe and then removes the tengu's templed sword quickly storing it on her own belt.
Round 2
Elneth takes whatever belt, or long piece of cloth the tengu is carrying and attempts to bind him with it.
CMB (bind): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
After she finishes a quite strong bind she stands up "That shall suffice to neutralize his menace"

He punctuates his 'there' with a thrown sling stone at the blinded and stunned tengu.
Assuming the fight appears to be at an end to her keen senses of perception, Faeria does the following:
"Oh? I thought they came out of that hole over there." She punctuates her 'there' by throwing (with some contortion) a loose stone a the hole.

He is stunned not unconscious. You can grapple him but to tie him up you'll need to make a second grapple attempt.

Once the tengu is grappled, Elneth makes her best to bind it "Please, help" she ascertains to say while spitting some feathers from her mouth.

Stepping away from the tengu, Elneth draws her axe once more and readies to attack the creatures if they show again close enough "Damned things, what are they playing?"

And you can take your regular turn as well, the spirit oni have appeared after casting their spells. NB They are flying, out of reach of normal weapons, 20' up.

Hey! I felt that! No fair casting spells like that in a fight!

@Amarion no.
Deluge throws his magic stone, but doesn't manage to hit anything.

That wasn't one of the things he was looking for. But you are all first or second level, so I'll give you a break :-) yes, it has the evil subtype.

![]() |

Elneth sighs, the sleep effect shrugging off. She saves her axe once more and draws the sling.
You will probably play next round while I am sleeping
Elneth loads the sling, then readies an attack against any Oni appearing.

He is rather useless, isn't he :)

![]() |

Wow, we've found the first thing where I'm a nicer GM than you :-p I consider type and subtype as part of identifying what the creature is.
Sir Ninn draws a wand and taps Victoria's next arrow. "May Iomedae bless your bow!"
I will repeat that action as long Victoria keeps shooting her bow.

"Look at how brave that man is over there." Faeria says of Deluge as he faces off against the face-that-is-off, hoping the stranger next to her might reveal something of their current situation. She remembers seeing these people at least from a distance over the past day or two but she hasn't really slept since. Best to assume they are real for now. "Do you know him?"
She looks to her index finger and wonders at the length of rope tied to it. Hmm. Maybe I forgot something....

![]() |

@Victoria, evil subtype and evil alignment are not inextricably interlinked, and you would have to concentrate for three rounds to determine whether an individual has an evil aura. There are a number of evil people in the room though!
@Elneth, you get to act before they go invisible, so you land the sling shot
Elneth sends a stone heading into the green Oni, it lands with a thug
Faeria catches the other one in a colour spray, but it seems to be unaffected by it. The
will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
The two creatures blink out.
Readied actions and delays are functionally the same at the moment, so I'm going to advance a turn to the oni attacking, if anyone had a buff or heal type thing they wanted to do in the off round feel free to add it to their next post.
After a few seconds the two Oni appear, attacking Faeria and Elneth.
They are tiny and thus in your square, however as they attacked from invisibility you don't get an AOO

![]() |

@Amarion it did, it triggered and you missed. I put that in the post a few up but it would have been easy to miss it.
@Sir Ninn, unfortunately you don't provoke from your movement, as they are tiny they have no reach and typically provoke themselves when moving in to attack from the same square as their target. Thus their going invisible. Sir Ninn would know this and can change his action if he wishes.

![]() |

I will gladly accept the bless weapon on the axe as it does not work the same in the sling
"The axe!" tells Elneth to Sir Ninn as she offers it to the man while drawing it back to her hands. She then steps to the side, flanking the oni over Faeria, and makes her best to finish the oni.
