@Shilyn: Looking throughout the room, the alchemical set that is there could be quite valuable... if you could get it out. It weighs roughly 50 lbs and involves a large amount of space. Under the bed, however, you do find more goodies! In a chest, there is a book with strange incantations and formulas written, all of which boggle your mind. What you can understand though are the large number of coins (154 gp, 55sp, 82cp, and a small container with a strange waxy paste.

Mylvwara lets you know it's an unguent of timelessness; rub it on an item and it prevents it from decaying or rusting naturally.

After finishes the sketches, the party proceeds N.... WEST!

The hallway opens into a four-way intersection. From the intersection, the passage north has a predictable direction to it to those with great ability to mentally map locales. Deeper west opens into a large chamber, while the southern direction continues into a similar double-wide hallway.

Amnur heads to the north part and sees a pair of wooden doors. He recalls them being the same set on the other side of the bottle goblin room.

On the other side...

Opposite a bench in the center of the room are a pair of stone statues set into alcoves, each one looking like a vaguely humanoid collection of gears and blocks. Unlike the other statues in this level, these appear to be mostly intact.

@Shilyn: As you look over the statues, you see that both of them have a hollowed out center, as if something is supposed to go inside them. Both look solidly made out of heavy stone and probably weigh twice as much as Amnur in full armor.

Amnur gives the stone statues a slightly insulted look, as if suspicious they're trying to out-do him for most-solid thing in the room. "A bench and some statues. Not impressed. Let's head west from the intersection then, eh?"

Continuing west, Amnur approaches a room that looks like it was an ancient workshop before something broke loose and tore it apart, ripping a hole into the eastern wall just north of where you enter.

Broken tools and implements appear to have been pulled from the ruined remnants of this chamber and are sorted into various piles.

On the southern wall, a large iron door blocks a potential passageway.

As Amnur and Varian enter the room, the dwarf fails to notice anything amiss. However, Varian catches that the first pile of tools starts to animate after the paladin walks past! A man-sized collection of blocks and gears, similar to the inactive statues in the previous room, rises to strike Amnur!

Amnur looks over at Varian's shout, only to be struck twice over his armored shoulders by the monster. The paladin scowls, then turns slowly to face this newest threat. "Nice try gear-face, did your... clock... mother... teach you to hit like that?" the intended insult failing miserably. Rolling his eyes at his own failed quip, the dwarf sidles to the creatures north west side, hoping Shi will see the chance to flank with him. He rears back with his own weapon and tries to bring it down with extreme force on the shoulder of the animated monster.

@Shilyn: Almost... the wand part is good, but there is a -4 penalty for ranged attacks with an ally in melee! Unfortunately, because of that, it's a miss!

Trying out her wand for the first time, Shilyn launches a bolt of acid towards the construct, but misses, trying to not hit her dwarf ally.

@Amnur: The swing knocks into the construct, but glances off the stony material. A bit better aim at a solid part should do the trick!

Wanting to aid Amnur, Gryne moves up, armed with his hammer, and tries to smash the thing.

@Amnur: Figured you'd find it acceptable.. and good thing too! Although armed with less force than Shilyn's near simultaneous swing with yours, your axe blade still sinks in, ripping out several stone cogs.
