just got back in country :) was away on business if u know what i mean

I would be very interested in playing if there is still room.

I have never played in a PFS game but have read some of the materials and have a #.

Liberty's Edge

The Tian woman laughs, noting the compliment but saying nothing of it. "Master Dwarf, the Taldan people are all quite beautiful in their own ways... but no, I'm most definitely not from the area." She smiles graciously as a server brings her a goblet of wine, just in time to join in with Oriandor's toast. "To success, to love, and to life!"

Of course, the dwarf is all but forgotten scant moments later when Flori begins to comment on Saki's gown. The Tian woman lights up, excitedly chattering away about the clothing. "Why, thank you! I bought it from a wonderful dressmaker in Absalom, a Tian woman from Goka who insists on doing things in the traditional way. Cost me a good fortune," she laughs, "but certainly worth it. If you're ever in the area, look up Li Fei and mention my name. She should give you a good deal. I think you'd look absolutely fabulous in anything she makes. You've got a much nicer figure than me for it!"

Realising that the fashion conversation was likely excluding the rest of the gathering, Saki leaves it at that, although it's clear that she really wanted to continue the conversation with Flori. The drunken antics of Amnur cause her to edge ever so slightly away from him, largely to avoid any errant splatters of booze, but she otherwise shows no sense of discomfort. "I thought a dwarf would be embarrassed to be named for a human?" Saki asks with a teasing smile.

Nothing's decided, yet. Go ahead and submit your character. The worst that could happen is nothing.

I've played a lot of PbP here, and frankly, most of them end in a few weeks, once the GM sees what a burden it can be. Hang on to your character (it's not like you have a choice), and keep an eye out for campaigns that seem like a good fit for your character and play style.

The Exchange

Amnur Roanock wrote:
"Did you all know, I was named for a famous human? One so sought after by women he was forced to run for his life. Isn't that fitting?! *hic* The drink is obviously starting to get to him.

Shilyn mutters in a staged whisper, "All of which were probably wielding something heavy to hit him with too no doubt" She throws a quick wink at the other women at the table and with a soft laugh, reaches for her wine.

oriandor

is there any way that you could split your xp to scale your char down to a level 2 if selected? The companions and I like your character and your rp, but it might give you a better chance if your char were at the same level. If you don't want to, I understand. just getting you some food for thought, and getting your feeling on the subject. how many XP does he he currently have? Just so I know.

Sovereign Court

@Brayden: I'd rather not; most of my credit for any of my characters are from GM credits and I don't get to play much so I want to make the most of each credit. I don't mind playing a level 3 in a 1-2 mission in this case and if you're worried about his abilities overshadowing the others, I can have Oriandor reasonably scale back. Also, it could balance out a level 1 making the entry.

Grand Lodge

Jec walks into the room looks around probably wont see any one I know but what the heck Jec then notices Amnur Amnur! When did you make it back to town

Sovereign Court

Oriandor chuckles at Shilyn's retort, enjoying the fact she's got a good head on her shoulders. "I see the table's starting to get a bit crowded."

Legends in their own minds... Flori says with a chuckle.

Silver Crusade

Amnur grins at seeing his old friend enter the room, "What's wrong Oriandor, not a fan o' crowds? Ya strike me as one who could be a famous fellow... like a storyteller or dragon slayer. *hic*. Are you a dragon slayer?"

"Sir Jec, you smelly horse biscuit, I just got back, and getting set to leave again, Torag willing. Where you been off to?"

Scowling at Shi and Flori, "No lasses, I'm a legend in my own mind!" he then grins to himself and raises another glass to his lips, licking his lips in anticipation.

Dark Archive

Kolslag looks around the room of pathfinders, glances at his wayfinder, then decides to buy a round of drinks. He'd just have to do more Enforcer work later in the week. Loose lips and all...he thought

"Oi, you lot, how's about a round on ole' Kolslag?"

The dwarf then orders the cheapest beer he can get for them, obviously oblivious to how rude that is.

Grand Lodge

"A dwarf that was named for a human? Now I have seen it all..."

Seeing as there are multiple dwarves on the table, Rogar slowly moves closer, careful not to trip over any loose... well, anything.

"Amnur, was it? Wouldn't happen to be related to Gizzar the Stout, by any chance? You sure seem to be able to hold your liquor like he did."

*slight pause*

"Might I introduce myself? My name is Rogar Dulaïnsson, brother to Dalynn and Grommar, son of Stravoz and Thora, son of Tarrok the Elder, son of Urgo. I hail from the Shattered Peak, you might not have heard of it.

I was wondering if you would allow me to buy you all a drink. It gets lonely on the road, and my mother always said no dwarf should drink alone."

Grand Lodge

Bowing to the ladies at Amnurs table Ladies my name is Jec Leblanc.
at Amnur I just got back into town just recently also. I had heard that somebody was hiring pathfinders here and thought I would see if I could get myself a job. You know me never happy unless I’m working

Waving over the barmaid. Miss could you get us a round of ale… Hmm Better make that 2 rounds Please
With that Jec finds an empty chair and drags it over to Amnurs table. Once there he sets down his shield that shakes the table and leans his sword up against it.

Sovereign Court

"I prefer to think of myself as a treasure hunter. One way or another, I can get in and get out of whatever situation necessary.", answering the fairly inebriated dwarf.

Looking at the busy barmaid bringing another 3 sets of ale-filled mugs, the tiefling simply shakes his head. "Either these chaps are trying to test your holy constitution Amnur, or they're trying to loosen you up miss Shilyn.". Oriandor pauses for a moment realizing his faux pas. "Or you as well miss Flori.

Flori rises, curtsies and extends her hand in turn to the recent arrivals. Pleased to meet you all.

Her gaze lingers on the human. Charmed, I'm sure. Do come and sit, and tell us all about your latest adventures!

Warning!:
Flori must never "find true love." That would be like Gilligan getting off the island. LOL

Thanks everyone for your submissions. As always, there are more good candidates than spots, and we had a few late comers that were also impressive.

But, it has come time to form the group.

without further adieu, the group has selected Oriandor and Flori as the characters that RPed with them quickest and most in depth, with saki in a close third.

Thanks for the submissions. You all get a trophy shaped in the form of an eagle flying over a rainbow.

Seriously though, keep in touch as there are some players I would love to have and I am kicking around the idea of doing 2 groups (after I have made sure that I can handle two).

Ori and flori, post to the discussion thread asap, and everyone else best of luck, and I am sure we will see you around soon.

Fabulous!

Liberty's Edge

:) Have fun all!

The Exchange

Toren stands up from his chair, labors into Tessa's straps and grabs his polearm. He stomps towards the rowdy table then stops...Nah, not t'night I think. I'll go back to headquarters and make sure I draw my wages from the last job afore I start anew.

He changes course and lumbers out the door of the bar, too poor to buy anything.

Good job and good luck you lucky 2!

Dark Archive

"By all rights, that mission should have been mine."Mumbles the dwarf as he begins to fume.

Not really though, have fun you guys. If you start a first steps one, I'd like to try out my archaelogist...

Grand Lodge

Though he has a fear of snakes...

Grand Lodge

Rogar backs down when everyone is clearly having fun...
"It's not nice, being ignored. But who can blame them, I'm probably the most useless dwarf in all of Golarion"

He'll walk out the door, his mug still in his hands, drinking while walking through the door.. Dead center..

If you ever go through the first steps again, be sure to PM me :)
And be sure to kick behinds know you hear! Good luck!
