Anything specific about your character, mechanically speaking, that I should know of? Aiden is a melee debuffer, mostly with dirty trick, but he can also intimidate and entangle with nets.

1. Did we get our equipment back after leaving Corentyn?
2. Do we have the opportunity to purchase normal equipment between these sessions? I only ask because it's a multi-parter.

Question: I just realized Waki now has 14xp. If he gains 1xp at the end of this, he will be 6th level and out of tier I believe. Is it possible for him to go slow track for this and the next scenario? Or do I need to go slow track for the entire level?

Anything specific about your character, mechanically speaking, that I should know of? Nothing new from the last game. Esh can "quibble" once per day. I have to level him up to lvl 5 before starting the game. I can try to do this tomorrow.

Waki, you can slow track a scenario, the requirement for an entire level was phased out in season 8 iirc.

I've done the recruitment; I've just been (as I'm sure you've noticed) a little slow on the upkeep. The semester ends and I have multiple projects that need to be taken care of, and I am applying to jobs/polishing off my old resume. I'm petitioning for there to be 4 more hours per day.

Also, spiritualists have a lot of rules to remember so I will try my best... Mostly remembering to keep my phantom within 50 ft. of me.

I won't have my ITS or newest chronicles updated online until I have access to a scanner, which probably won't be until Monday. Hopefully that's not a problem.

Also, her phantom carries the Wand of Burning Hands (CL 3) since he can use it. He's the swarm buster between the two of them.

Anything specific about your character, mechanically speaking, that I should know of? Djorn's Favored Terrain is Urban. He has the Guide archetype which gives him Ranger Focus once per day. He has Quick Draw and a Quick Draw Light Steel shield so he can swap between thrown weapons and hammer and shield as a free action. He has a breakaway shield boss which allows him to load an alchemical item that then affects the next target He hits with the shield.

And he's played Let Bygones Be.

Going on a business trip, leaving today and won't be back til Friday evening (USA Eastern Time). Will still be able to post but want people to be aware about possible slowness, and leave tactics just in case.

Tactics: Oh boy... Spiritualist tactics. Think I'll just be sure to be on top of this, but I'll give very basic tactics just in case.

But, basically Nuo will use Wand of Mage Armor on Qiang if we enter a dungeon or if battle starts and he doesn't already have it, then use her Wand of Cure Light Wounds on allies. (If Qiang is not currently summoned, she will resort to just healing)

Qiang will punch things. 2 slams +4 (1d6+3, 19-20/B)

I'm traveling tomorrow, so I'll be out of pocket for a day or so. Then I should be able to resume posting.

I'm back home. About the concentration check, I really don't know if Esh has to do one... I'm not very clear about the psychic spells.

Psychics totally have to do concentration. In fact, it's much harder for them.

If a spell’s components line lists a somatic component, that spell instead requires an emotion component when cast by psychic spellcasters, and if it has a verbal component, it instead requires a thought component when cast by psychic spellcasters.

Thought Components: Thought components represent mental constructs necessary for the spell’s function, such as picturing a wolf in vivid detail—down to the saliva dripping from its jaws—in order to cast beast shape to transform into a wolf. Thought components are so mentally demanding that they make interruptions and distractions extremely challenging. The DC for any concentration check for a spell with a thought component increases by 10. A psychic spellcaster casting a spell with a thought component can take a move action before beginning to cast the spell to center herself; she can then use the normal DC instead of the increased DC.

So, the concentration DC is 10 higher for psychic casting unless they spend a move action beforehand to center themselves.

Despite his success this round, Djorn knows he doesn't have much chance of hitting these guys so he'll maneuver to flank, if he can do so without provoking an AoO and will use his action to Aid Another to bolster someone else's chance of hitting.

Gonna be a busy, busy week for me. Going to another state for work to teach some co-workers how to use our tools, so I will be pretty busy for Monday and Tuesday (May 21 - May 22) (all Eastern US time). I don't mind a break, either. I didn't sign Djorn up for GD7, but it feels like I signed up every other character I have so I'm going to be busy.

I can't play him during the break, though, because one more adventure will tier him out of Infernal Inheritance. #1stworldproblems.

I honestly would welcome a break. I would need a reminder for when GD7 is done so I can set things up.

I have been flirting with burnout for the past 3 months, and as a result have not been signing up for anything for GD7 even though I could play a whole bunch of these scenarios. I will be finishing my trilogies and any other game I have committed to. But if you'very wondered why my posting is so slow, well there you have it.
