Looking and smelling in wonder at the room, Radiant comments If this is illusion, I do not want to see through it. I had envisioned a much darker place. He begins to look around the room avoiding the moss-covered areas for now but inspecting the seal.

"Huh.... this seems much nicer than I was expecting. Maybe its not as bad down here as we thought... I hope."
Despite his words, Whitwood still hangs back, nervously glancing around. He gestures to My Friend, whose form again ripples and reforms into a lithe humanoid, clad in black cloth from head to foot, two bright white eyes all that is visible of the creature within.
My Friend begins surveying the room, checking for traps, secret doors and so forth.

Soooooo he's a Jawa?
Lia is similarly surprised to see such vibrant life. She had anticipated nothing but death and decay in a long disused chamber. "Really. I didn't expect this lively either. It's... rather beautiful." She aimlessly wanders about the room, trying to keep an eye on the surroundings.

Lao follows the half-elf about the room. He seems to be the only one not taking in the sights. Indeed, with a curl of his lips and a wrinkle of the nose, he sneezes twice to get the perfumy scent from his nostrils.

Sareth will stay as either rearguard or up front as needed. "Battle ahead. Someone's either here already or something is going very wrong with whatever defenses the ancients put in here. Combat is messy. Let's move with all haste to stop it before it becomes the proverbial gorgon in a potion shop."

Before anyone advances past Sareth, I'll lay down a preemptive Bless spell.

Radiant steps into the fog and is lost from sight in the thick churling mess. The sounds of battle continue to echo forth from the hall.

Using the fog's concealment to better hide, radiant advances, cautions that the sounds found be a ruse. If he thinks he is getting close to the source he will Vanish before moving forward.

Grimnir casts Shield of Faith before heading into the fight.. "Can anyone get rid of this fog?" He moves until he finds something to swing his sword at..

Hello, all. I am Sior. I will be taking over the scenario until the time that Kim returns. Our thoughts are with her as we continue this scenario. What we do, we do not out of spite or anger but in the interest in keeping the fun alive until she return. That said, on with the show.
Lia receives a divine inspiration that she is needed elsewhere off the map and retreats to answer the call, having every confidence in your abilities to carry on.

Fog fills the battle area correct? Was hoping the fire creatures would be burring some of it away.

Correct. The fog is there and, while illuminated, the fog stays to enshroud the whole area.

My friend then steps up to the mummy to give it what for, which gives Whitwood a sense of fear emanating from her. She, herself, however finds herself unable to move! Paralyzed for 2 rounds, not that it matters. She is then dismissed by Whitwood's delayed action.

The two smaller fire creatures each breathe fire at each mummy, immolating both.
Left: 1d8 ⇒ 3

1d20 ⇒ 7
As Iacobus prepares to act, he recalls that the large creature is a fire elemental which deals fire damage with its own body and is susceptable to cold, the smaller fire creatures are fire mephits which are weaker and also vulnerable to cold, and the mummies are very strong for undead but still having the ability to give mummy rot to those they inflict damage to.
