Playtest Monsters

Will the printed playtest book have bestiary content, such as monster stat blocks?

There will probably be a little bit in the playtest book like animal companions, familiars, and maybe summons but they mentioned that the main playtest bestiary will be pdf only

I believe it has been confirmed that the answer is 'no', but there will be a separate electronic document detailing a selection of monsters.

I have been working under the assumption that the Playtest Document (printed or otherwise) will include a Bestiary of "250 creatures"... but not necessarially that many stat-blocks, certain creatures may just be permutations of a base creature (E.G. Beetle, Dire Beetle, Fiery Beetle, Axiomatic Beetle, etc).

However I expect no such inclusion in the Core Rulebook, Paizo will most likely return to the holy trinity (Players Handbook, Dungeon Masters Guide, and Monster Manual) or as close as trademark law allows. It would be convenient if the CRB2 went as far as including the Universal Monster Rules (and rules for generating a creature), even if the GM is still expected to own Bestiaries for pregenerated creatures.

They've said there will be a Playtest Bestiary.

There will be a bestiary and since the adversaries are not like in sf asynchronus you can build humanoid enemies with the crb to your hearts content
