Sharna hisses curses in Ignan to herself as the glaive bites deep. Right; she's had enough of this. Shandor has the right idea: just blast their foe with the true power of the arcane.
Casting defensively, 3rd level spell, DC 21
Casting: 1d20 + 13 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 13 + 4 = 25
Her eyes glow-- not their usual red, but a startingly white-blue-- seconds before a bolt of raw electric energy erupts from her fingertips and sears forward.
Lightning bolt, angled from the corner of the square closest to the enemy to avoid hitting party members. DC 18 Reflex save for half.
Damage: 8d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 6, 4, 2, 2, 2) = 23
Sharna then stands up, hissing at the pain of her injuries. She'll heal herself in a moment.
Provoking an attack of opp by standing up. If Sharna is still standing after the attack of opp, she will take a 5-foot step north, but I have not/will not move her yet.

Flat on the back Rodrigo stopped smiling.
Still in on the floor, il use his cape to feint his opponent, droping his wand and taking his sword two handed.

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Luckily for you, though, she didn't make it past the lightning bolt...
Shandor and Sharna both manage to hit the woman with the combined powers of their spells, frying her and dropping her dead body to the floor.

Searching through her belongings, you find a half-composed letter addressed to Aglorn Desimire, which promises riches beyond imagining to pay off the Consortium's debt for the portal and offers wry well-wishes for setting up "a lasting base of operations in the middle of a glacier."
+1 guisarme
amulet of natural armor +1
250 gp
The southern door is a massive iron door pocked with evenly spaced holes in a roughly square pattern. Mithral rods are placed in a strange pattern in the door, with five other rods lying on the ground in a small stack directly in front of the door. Whatever puzzle the door may have held has been solved shortly before your arrival, as it is now open. A serpentfolk mummy lies in the next room, slain. Inside the room, all you find is a platinum coffer worth 5000 gp, inside of which is a treatise on the worship of Ydersius written on a series of serpentskin scrolls.
As you exit the room and return to the hatchery, you are met with the entire Muckmouth tribe, gathered to determine what to do next. With them appears to be five warriors fresh from a patrol. They invite you to a feast to honor your valor and accomplishments. During the feast, lizardfolk come forward and give their opinions on the party, and discuss whether making an alliance with any outside group, Aspis or Pathfinder, is worth the bother.
Two dead guards are mentioned, sentries to the Muckmouth caves. Their deaths remain a mystery to the tribe.
Essviss steps forward and tells how the Pathfinders aided him and his brothers who were forced into manual labor for the Consortium, and how they were freed afterwards and told to seek safety.
Chief Oosthic has little to say, but he found the drawings the Pathfinders made for him to be pretty.
A female lizardfolk steps forward and relates how each and every single egg was recovered, and how none were damaged during their ransom.
At this time, I need a single PC, designated by the group, to make an unaided Diplomacy check to make your case for abandoning the Consortium and teaming up with the Society. You will have a +3 circumstantial bonus to whoever makes this roll.

Dittoing Natalia.
Sharna heals herself once the battle is over, and sees to the injuries anyone else has incurred as well. She bows courteously to the lizardfolk when they come in, but does not try any more of her miming attempts to communicate: better, perhaps, that they ask Essviss to translate for them.
As she has been impressed with Natalia's demeanor and eloquence, Sharna bows the chance for a pro-Abadar speech over to the... paladin.
(She lets Ra sneak an eyeball from the woman they killed, as consolation for his having to abandon her in the fight.)

Rodrigo wasn't hurt during the fight, so he proposed his wand to Sharna and his other comrades to heal themselves.
When the lizardfolk came to them, he followed Sharna's exemple and bow to them, thanking them for their invitation.
When the time came for speaking in the name of the Society, Sharna turned to him, but even if he will be proud to be their speaker, he knows that Lady Natalia was more used to speak true words than him.
He bow to her, encouraging her to speak for them and the Society.

Zaquielle smiles as she sees the woman fall, even more pleased that Sharna gets up from the floor, followed by Rodrigo. "May the gods be praised, I thought you were going to be sliced in two be that blade." says the ranger to Sharna. With the fight over, she once more takes up her position to protect her friends whilst they 'clear up'. Being uninjured she nods to Sharna, "Tend to you wounds, I am uninjured and will keep guard."
When the lizardfolk start to discuss futures she looks to Natalie to negotiate on behalf of the group.

Shandor groans, his fury slowly withering away. He leans on his staff, as if th years his body endured were catching up on him.
"Aye, Natalia should be our spokesperson." he whispers, exhausted.

To the lizard folk.
"Friends, you have seen how the Aspis Consortium treats its friends. We have dealt with the evil minions it sent to keep you in its thrall, and who would kill your kin for no reason than their petty pleasure, or to make an extra copper coin.
"We Pathfinders have freed you, and saved your next generation!
"The Pathfinder society is made up of individuals who are seeking knowledge, but not at the price of subjugating free folk, such as yourself. If you choose to ally yourself with the Pathfinder Society, which I hope you do, we will be able to protect your people, much like we did today. Your kin will have access to best schools, if you choose to partake, and you will soon be able to join us in traveling the worlds in search of knowledge. Many of us have also dedicated our lives to freeing those held in bondage, such as you were.
"It is my hope that you will join us in our quest to improve the world through regaining lost knowledge. It is your choice, but by Aroden, I hope you choose us."

Sorry if I'm jumping the gun, I just have a game on Sunday that I'd love to play Sharna in (if we are at the end).

day job? You people work for a living?

GM Kim |

DC for your second prestige point was 25, so yay!
The Muckmouths decide to ally with the Pathfinder's despite the factthat they were so recently taken advantage of by other smooth-skins thanks to Lady Natalia's rousing speech.
Crushing two snakes with one stone, the Pathfinder Society teaches the Aspis Consortium a power lesson about the consequences of trespassing on Society territory and discover how the Consortium gained access to the plane in the first place. Second, the Society wins some local allies with a great deal of knowledge about the demiplane.
Any other day job checks?

Boon : 1d20 ⇒ 8
-Posted with Wayfinder

GM Kim |

Everyone but Rodrigo should have their chronicle sheets now so you can play today if you wanted! Just waiting on Rodrigo's day job for his chronicle. Will report the game as soon as I have all the boon rolls. I'll roll for anyone who hasn't rolled on Tuesday and report then (not day jobs, though. You have to roll your own day job!).

Thanks for GMing both of these scenarios, it was fun!

w00t! What are my choices?
thank you for a great couple of games, Kim and everyone!

GM Kim |

Boon selection:
• When you cast the listed spell, you may increase the DC of the saving throw by 2.
• When you roll a saving throw against the listed spell, you gain a +4 bonus on the save.
You may use this bonus once for free, after which you should check the box below; each additional use of the selected benefit costs 1 Prestige Point.
First, you gain a Mendevian Commendation for your tireless efforts to supply the crusade. A Mendevian Commendation grants you a cumulative +1 bonus on Charisma-based skill checks to influence Mendevian Crusaders (maximum +3).
Second, as a swift action while fighting a creature with the demon subtype or bearing an unholy symbol of a demon lord, you may grant all allies that you can see within 60 feet a +2 circumstance bonus on attack rolls, damage rolls, and saving throws against those creatures for one minute. When you use this second ability, cross it off your Chronicle sheet.
Choose the weapon or armor from the following list: breastplate, glaive, heavy shield, or longsword.
When you use this boon, cross it off your Chronicle sheet; however, anytime you successfully complete (earning the maximum possible number of Prestige Points) a scenario that using the “hard mode” option, you may have the GM sign this boon. You may use this boon one additional time for each such signature you receive.

Zaquielle moves her hand to her dusty forehead, sweeping a salute of circular hand movements down to her midriff, a look of satisfaction and thanks to her fellow Pathfinders. She nods, before she slaps a cloud of red dust from her backpack, before starts to secure its contents and moves on.
Thanks to all, these two adventures have been great fun. Special thanks to our GM.
Hope we meet again
Any going to PaizoConUK, I'll see you there.

Sharna returns the gesture Zaquielle gives with a slight bow of her own, then repeats the gesture to each of the others. The hawk on her shoulder is less restrained, and shrieks a raucous farewell before each agent is sent off to further missions...
