I meant following her into the southern passage, not under the waterfall...

GM Kim |

But it's a lovely waterfall... I'll need everyone to position themselves at the southern passage before continuing, please.
EDIT - I realize that everyone had already moved by the time I posted that, but my phone wasn't updating. I'm on my way to my brother's house for Father's Day, so probably won't be posting much between now and Tuesday. Also, I had a large post already setup, but it gotted eaten.
A glittering mosaic sprawls across the cave floor in a moat of incandescent light. These mottled patterns of radiance undulate in an endless cascade of glorious color. Since there was no scouting, Rodrigo wouldn't know that there was an encounter before hand, so I can't see why now he would have used the wands. He hasn't used them at every room they enter before this. Also, I haven't seen any UMD checks.
I also need to know the HD of any familiars and/or animal companions in the group. The only one I know about is Ra, but you never know.

![]() |

"Hit Points: The familiar has half the master's total hit points (not including temporary hit points), rounded down, regardless of its actual Hit Dice."
So Ra should be considered an 8HD creature as far as 'master's character level' goes. Hopefully that answers whatever you need the data for.

Uh... yeah, I'd hope the +31 is a typo of +13. I mean, it's going to hit Sharna regardless, but I can't think of any way enemies in a game at this level are going to have a +31 to attack-- True Strike is the only way I could think of, but True Strike has to apply to your next attack, not an iterative attack, etc. I mean, if she's really attacking at a +13 on a primary and a +31 on an iterative, hokay then.
Sharna's eyes widen in shock as she drops to the ground from an opponent she had not imagined was there. The breath leaves her in a whump, and there's a tingle as some of the protection of her ghostly ancestors ebbs away.
"I am not yet injured," she calls very calmly to her colleagues, for a woman who's on the ground with a dangerous opponent standing nearby. "But I would greatly appreciate attempts to neutralize this woman, yes."
Sharna takes a breath and then looks up at the woman with her eyes burning red, while Ra huddles behind/beneath her and screams scared bird insults at the woman.
Standard: Evil Eye on the woman, targeting her AC: Will save DC 19. If failed, -4 to AC for 8 rounds. If sucessful, -4 to AC for 1 round... which Sharna will then extend, via Cackle, to 2 rounds.

Given that the warrior woman is attacking with a glaive and attacked/tripped me from 10 feet away, I'd say that, yes, she's attacking with reach.
Sharna exhales forcefully. "Rodrigo, I appreciate your chivalry, but could you hurt her before you join us on the ground? Ra-- draw back to safety, please, I don't want you becoming feathered mush--"
Unhappily, Ra obeys his mistress's commands, flying back into the cavern and shrieking his nervous concern for his mistress.
Ra: Withdrawing, flying back into the cavern they came from. Exact position isn't really relevant, Sharna just wants him out of melee range.
Sharna breathes deep, as she actually felt that last attack-- the spirits of her ancestors can no longer intercede for her between that blade and her body. The glaive opened a thin scratch on her arm.
Again she stares fixedly at the woman, drawing curses from her lineage.
Misfortune, Will save DC 20.
And then Sharna laughs the ow laugh of 'the pain, the pain'. Cackle.
(Yeah, I totally agree re 'cackle'. I'm completely fine with it taking my move action, I just hate the flavor of having to 'laugh' for it to work. It brings to mind a stereotypical crone/dumb witch stereotype... Oh well. I tend to flavor it as 'chanting' when I can.)

A woman materializes ten feet from Sharna, wearing a silvery breastplate and carrying a guisarme, and swings at the witch's feet with it.
Yes, she's attacking with a reach weapon. What buffs does Natalia have that are raising her CMD by so much? +1 for being large, -1 for the -2 Dex for being large, +1 for the +2 Str for being large, so a net of +1 from enlarge person. Bull's strength and shield of faith have been down for a while now (they're only 5 minute duration, and the last I knew you cast them at the entrance to the cave and right before talking with the elder).
Same with AC. She should have a -1 from the -2 Dex penalty for size, and a -1 for the size penalty for AC, giving her a net -2 AC from enlarge person.
Natalia swings from the ground, and misses the woman. Shandor fires off a volley of magic missiles, ending the cobra menacing the rear ranks. Rodrigo weaves through the combat in the glittering room, waving his cloak about, addressing the woman who just snarls at him.

Aww, I'm sorry!
A flurry of arrows pelt the wall around the woman, none of them finding their target.
The woman steps closer to Natalia and swings for Rodrigo's legs with a followup against the still prone Sharna.
Trip CM against Rodrigo: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28
Attack against Sharna: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 4 = 22
Damage against Sharna: 2d4 + 7 ⇒ (4, 4) + 7 = 15
As Rodrigo yells his intent to save the ladies, he is tripped and lands on his back, wondering what happened to put him in this position. Sharna takes a nasty gash as her defenses finally fall before the onslaught of the warrior.
The woman snarls at Rodrigo, and spits out in contempt, "Perhaps it is best if you were to surrender, Pathfinder!"
The party is up. The critters will go again on Friday unless everyone posts their actions before then.

Lost in his rage, Shandor unleashes another arc of flames towards the woman.
