Alright, I need everyone to supply me with the following (Yes, even you fine folk who have decided to tempt fate with me again):
Player Name (The name I will be putting on the chronicle sheet):
Character Name:
PFS #:
Day Job:
Perception modifier:
Initiative modifier:
Also, I will be including the faction missions in this scenario. They do not impact anything, but otherwise the scenario will feel like a disjointed mess. And I think we've all had enough of that.
We'll start when we have at least 6.

![]() |

Forgive me, what's the Tier?

![]() |

I'm in, I'll probably post details tonight once I've leveled Constantin up.

![]() |

Definitely looking like 1-2. You could play a level 3 or 4 and get OoT gold.

![]() |

Player Name: David Harris (aka Chaosorbit)
Character Name: Krolmnite Quissabom
PFS #: 90071-12 (Grand Lodge)
Day Job: Profession Gambler: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Perception modifier: +10
Initiative modifier: +3
Krolmnite has leveled to 2 so I'll need to get him updated.

![]() |

I'm in and I'm level 2 now.
Player Name: Chadius
Character Name: Aquavius
PFS #: 133608 - 13
Day Job: Profession(Sailor): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Perception modifier: +6
Initiative modifier: +1

![]() |

Player Name: Garrett Greene
Character Name: Constantin the Azlant
PFS #:182453-4
Day Job: Write a Report: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 - If I achieve a different faction goal during this adventure I may use that roll for Perform (Oratory) day job, which is 6 higher.
Perception modifier: +5
Initiative modifier: +8* (+7 at night)
Things to keep in mind for GM & Players:
Frequently I'm providing a +2 to hit and damage as well as a +1 to saves against Charm and Fear in a mix of Competence and Morale bonuses via Flagbearer and Inspire Courage.
I am usually under the effects of Guidance due to a bunny familiar that has it as an at-will SLA.

![]() |

"A web of corruption, eh? I'll sniff it out...sounds delicious."
Player Name: I'm Hiding In Your Closet
Character Name: Khāṇa Tsogtsos
PFS #: 40025-19
Day Job: Profession (Gambler): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Perception modifier: +8
Initiative modifier: +1
Note: I have the Scent quality.

![]() |

Player Name: Andreas F
Character Name: Rogar the Relentless
PFS #: 35574-22
Day Job: Survival: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 <- I might re-roll that
Perception modifier: +8 (+2 when adjacent to Ivar)
Initiative modifier: +2

![]() |

Player Name (The name I will be putting on the chronicle sheet): Douglas Edwards
Character Name: Glenn Kerosin
PFS #: 133118-11
Day Job: n/a
Perception modifier: 8
Initiative modifier: 4

![]() |

Don't forget to put your information in Trix! Here we go!
Just as a warning, my pace is definitely not going to be that which I had back in December. I'll get you through, I just ask for a little more patience than you might have had.

![]() |

Player Name (The name I will be putting on the chronicle sheet): Matt B.
Character Name: Trixalana
PFS#: 13693-12
Faction: Silver Crusade
Day Job: N/A
Perception modifier: +4/+5 (Traps)
Initiative modifier: +2
Additional, I picked up the Seeker archetype to deal with traps and whatnot for now. Also, I've swapped out Fey Foundling for Selective Channeling. I need to make the updates to my profile and will do so today.

![]() |

Hey, I seem to have lost the ability to copy and paste people's avatars into google draw. Anyone know what the heck is up with that?

![]() |

I noticed the map is not set for anyone to edit it. It only allows me to view only. Try changing it to Anyone May Edit.

![]() |

As a heads up, I had to add more attribute points for Aquavius. I built her only using a 14 point attribute buy. PFS uses 20 points. I got 1 more Dex and 1 more Int out of it, so nothing too crazy.

![]() |

How did you catch the point buy discrepancy? Actually, how did you end up using a 14 point buy? I'm genuinely curious.

![]() |

In a different scenario someone pointed out I built a different PC with 15 points. I checked and realized I built several characters with 15 points. Turns out I screwed up even more with Aquavius- she had 14!

![]() |

I'm not going to be able to update until Tuesday. Keep on posting!

![]() |

My Internet connection's down (I'm posting from a local cafe), and will apparently be that way for the next few days, so if my post rate seems to slow down, that's why. I'll do my best to keep up, though.

![]() |

Krolm, I don't think kineticists can blast away while under a rage effect since kinetic blast is an SLA. (Not that it affected those rolls...)

![]() |

Ok, great thanks! Yeah those rolls....dice roller has been harsh on me lately.

![]() |

@Constantin: I've been wondering, how are you playing an Azlanti, of all things? They're hands-down the most overpowered PC race in Golarion (then again, your ability scores don't appear to reflect that). I once met a guy who'd won a one-of-a-kind Boon permitting him to play a non-Evil Assassin, but even that would pale in comparison to the opportunity to play an Azlanti.

![]() |

Ah, that's the True Azlanti (with the +2 to all stats), but in Inner Sea Races they put in an Azlanti ethnicity for humans without the crazy-ass bonuses. It represents people who are a bit of a throwback to Azlanti traits rather than an actual cultural Azlant, Constantin just plays it up a bit to add mystery.

![]() |

I see.
@Aquavius: Are you sure you aren't still doing your attributes a disservice? I count only 17 points there, as you've presently got them down.

![]() |

Before Racial adjustments:
Str 15 (7)
Dex 12 (2)
Con 13 (3)
Int 13 (3)
Wis 10
Cha 14 (5)
That's 20 points. I'm good.
I did have to double check, for a while I was building PFS characters with 15 point buys. Aquavius version 1 was built with 14 points for some reason.

![]() |

No worries on the delay, GM! I know the feeling. I work a rotating 4 on, 2 off shift that alternates between days on week, then afternoons the next, then back to days, then afternoons. Lather, rinse, repeat.

![]() |

I just realized how dark some of this is. Sorry if it isn't your cup of tea. Shoot me a PM if you'd rather I keep things lighter. Or post here. Either way, I'll acquiesce.

![]() |

No need to apologize, GM, you are not the author. This reminds me a lot of the original Taken movie. Brutal stuff man, that kind of thing just makes me sick.

![]() |

I'll be updating late tonight. Train delays mean that I'm stuck in Boston far longer than I really care for.

![]() |

Well, at least now it's done, and I can just go there at my leisure on the weekend if I want.

![]() |

I'll be posting an update tomorrow late afternoon. Just got back from work and I have to be up early tomorrow.
Buuut... I think you just might have beaten the Spider :D
So if you want to start looking for another game, consider this one almost done.

![]() |

Thanks for running!

![]() |

Alright, getting Chronicle sheets ready. Rogar, did you want to use that reroll?

![]() |

Indeed I will.
Dayjob, folio reroll + 4 stars: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 4 = 22

![]() |

Thank you all for being a part of this! Put a note indicating you have received your chronicle sheet and that it is up to snuff! I will be closing the thread in a couple days!
Also all feedback is good feedback! Didn't like how I did something? Let me know! Have a question about mechanics? Let me know! Have a suggestion for how to make things better? Let me know!

![]() |

Did we resolve any potential combat encounters nonviolently in this adventure (Exchange Faction Objective)?

![]() |

I was supposed to receive out-of-sub-tier gold, but I fixed it myself.
Otherwise, it was great fun!

![]() |

Looks Good!

![]() |

Did we resolve any potential combat encounters nonviolently in this adventure (Exchange Faction Objective)?
Nope.

![]() |

Thanks GM Upaynao - Good job! Chronicle looks good.
Very interesting 2 parter -- thanks also to my fellow Pathfinders, fun group. Cheers all.

![]() |

I wonder what the Spider's plans were. Was she trying to secure something then escape? Hold the Sapphire Sage hostage? It seems like she would just try to bolt. Not the GM's fault, some of the scenarios feel like they need to shoehorn combat in somehow.
