Hey, good for you!

The brute and the throwback are no match for the mighty Baldwyn, who "bardishes" it out as they try to rush past him, toppling them both and chopping a big ugly gash right in the throwback's chest.

That nixes both their attacks. They spend their standard action standing back up. Baldwyn, you take only 8 extra damage (since as you observed, the lean lizard still manages one more hit than I'd said). Ramesses, you're scot-free this time.

Okay, so now for the turn proper.

Baldwyn continues to slash at the 'throwback' lizard. "You ought not have attacked! We're trying to save your eggs!"

He then steps back to let them all come closer.

With a second blow, and a chastisement that they sadly wouldn't have understood anyway, Baldwyn caves in the odd-looking lizard's chest.

Razmand sticks to his "salon" school of combat, berating the Human with deep-sticking words.

Its an immediate action from a swashbuckler to riposte after the parry, the parry just has to be a higher roll than the attack he's trying to defend against, so as long as he has 2 Panache points, it should work.

Well, luckily, it doesn't appear to matter, since you succeed on all but one parry - and even on the riposte - even then! So you've only taken 21 damage.

Zorro slides about the greasy bog like an exceptionally devious fly in a bowl of soup, trading an almost-certain splattering by heavily-advantaged opponents into an amazingly even exchange of wounds. He also verbally trashes the lean lizard's combat prowess, but it just comes off as desperate.

CMB checks, being considered attack rolls, are fumbled on natural '1s.'

Baldwyn, on the other hand, winds up looking more like the key ingredient in jackass soup as he hefts his weapon only to discover that it was the only thing keeping him stable in the magical swamp-stew, and he falls over with a great big splash.

Standing up will require a DC 10 Acrobatics check; failure means you need to make a Reflex save or fall, and failure by 5 or more means you fall back down without getting a saving throw.

[dice="Geric," you're fired]1d6[/dice]

Other than that, his next move will have to depend on whether Baldwyn can get his act together.

Against whom, exactly?

Also, Elenial, what does Barry do?

Also, it turns out you get a DC 15 Reflex save every round after the first of burning for the fire to peter out on its own. Much as I liked him, we'll say that "Throwback" was unlucky:

2nd round of burning:
human's Reflex save: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
lean lizard's Reflex save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
wizened lizard's Reflex save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
brutish lizard's Reflex save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

3rd round of burning:
lean lizard's Reflex save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
brutish lizard's Reflex save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

There's also, however, the first 1d6 that inherently comes with the first round of burning (in addition to your spell effects), which I don't believe we covered:

human: 1d6 ⇒ 3
lean: 1d6 ⇒ 2
wizened: 1d6 ⇒ 6
brutish: 1d6 ⇒ 5
throwback: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Right. That changes things a bit:

damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

...thrashing her easy target to within an inch of his life (unless maybe you can swashbuckle your way out of it again?)...

...and the brutish-looking lizard, rather a proud and stupid type, turns his attention to Ramesses...

morningstar: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

morningstar: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

...but the frightened fool just keeps banging impotently against Ramesses's fine armor!

Does everyone know what their hit point situation was as of the start of this combat? I know Elenial and Razmand both had some ugly ability damage, I hope you've been tracking that....

Baldwyn makes to move out of the grease and moves north around the lean lizard provoking an AoO
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

He then opts to power attack the thing as best as he can!
Power Attack + Vital Strike + Felling Smash + Flank: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 14 + 2 = 20

If that hits:
damage: 1d10 + 1d10 + 19 ⇒ (6) + (2) + 19 = 27
Trip: 1d20 + 18 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 18 + 2 = 26
AoO: 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 14 + 2 + 2 = 27
damage: 1d10 + 19 ⇒ (6) + 19 = 25

When Geric moves towards Razmand:
Power Attack AoO!: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 14 + 2 = 33
damage: 1d10 + 19 ⇒ (10) + 19 = 29

As a matter of fact, Razmand only had 1 point of strength damage and 2 points of constitution damage. As per rules, only the increments of 2 hold any mechanical effect, so he'll have -1 to fortitude save and lose 9 hit points.

Oathbreaker's Die! gameplay Oathbreakers Die! Maps and Slides

Baldwyn, do you mean you're not even going to try avoiding her attack of opportunity?

Razmand: That's not quite how it works; your Strength was reduced from 14 to 13, and hence your Strength modifier is reduced from +2 to +1 (if your natural Strength was 15 and had been reduced to 14, THEN your modifier wouldn't have suffered, although your carrying capacity still would have). It's Elenial I'm more concerned about, since she took a total of 6 to both scores - it is only ability damage, fortunately.

Still...f!#&ing leech swarms: Who'd have guessed? If you hadn't been succeeding at those extra Fortitude saves, their venom (!) would have been adding on Dexterity DRAIN (!!!).

That is correct.

Additionally, Razmand is correct. Ability damage does not incur a penalty until it reaches -2, regardless of what value it would make your ability score. Details in CRB under Ability Score Damage, Penalty, and Drain. (I know, it doesn't make too much sense but such it is.)

And if it comes up, no additional checks are needed for using the bardiche since the initial save was made against grease.

You here a loud scream of pain and the start of him cursing the lizard come from Zorro as the lean lizard bites into Zorro then it's cut short as his body goes limp and he goes limp.

Huh. That just seems harder to keep track of, but whatever, lucky for Razmand.

Zorro's not so lucky. Make a stabilization check

attack of opportunity: morningstar vs Baldwyn: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

The lean lizard, clearly the best and brightest of the bunch, is ready for Baldwyn, delivering a smart bang to the sternum as he moves in, and catching his attack on her shield, to boot.

Of course, she's not the foe Baldwyn's most interested in. The compelled slaver rushes Razmand, and is greeted with a gutful of bardiche. He's still standing, though, and Razmand's mind control keeps him focused on reaching him...meaning (I think) you get to make ANOTHER attack of opportunity!

Until just now, I thought it was only one AoO for the move, regardless of spaces moved. Now I see it's not the move action but leaving each square. Learning is fun!

"Bastard won't stop, will he?"

With another swing, Baldwyn aims for the man's feet.

Trip!: 1d20 + 18 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 18 + 2 = 35

If he stands...:
"Stay down!"
AoO (last for this round): 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 14 + 2 + 4 = 29 vs AC. Prone taken into account
damage: 1d10 + 19 ⇒ (5) + 19 = 24

Zorro still gets his roll to stabilize.

Baldwyn delivers a beautiful sweep, followed by a nasty chop - but his foe, a seasoned adventurer in his own right, reflexively rolls with the blow and survives, dazes and on his back, but conscious....

To be clear, the attack on my turn easy on the lizard, open spoiler if it hit to trip him.

Only the two AoO's (three if he stood) were at Geric.

Baldwyn: I'm confused. What were you trying to say?

Zorro, we're still waiting for your stabilization roll from last round.

lean Reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
brutish Reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

lean burning: 1d6 ⇒ 3
throwback burning: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Nobody pays attention as the devolved-looking lizard finally makes his way on wings of ashes and sorrow to Pharasma's Boneyard.

The old, sad, flabby lizard defends himself skillfully with scale and shield, but Elenial does manage to score his thigh with an arrow. He continues to put up as fierce a fight as he is capable with the intractable Barry.

morningstar: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
morningstar: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

The brutish and lean lizards converge on Ramesses, perhaps insulted by his "lie."

Ramesses, make your readied attack against whomever you'd prefer, I'll retcon things as needed.

lean morningstar: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
lean morningstar: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
brutish bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Their hearts don't appear to be in their attacks, though; Ramesses feels only a single weak swat.
