"When will be compatriots attack? When will we destroy these things? Oh post, post, post!"

Sorry, was away this weekend
Nehyril charges down the narrow caveway and fires an arrow at one of the creatures to the north.
Shot: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 for damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 to the zombie right above Nehyril.

Nehyril, seeing the others head in to face the undead enemies, Neyhril decides to do the same. He heads in, targets a zombie and shoots it square in the face. Unfortunately, the zombie's flesh absorbs some of the drive behind the arrow, limiting the damage done.

The two remaining zombie, attack the living which they loathe so much. Both zombies attack Verrak, trying to tend the flesh from his bones.
claws: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 61d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 vs AC 15
damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 101d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
The first zombie claws nothing but air as the nimble Verrak easily dodges it. Unfortunately, Verrak dodges right into the second claw, ripping flesh from bone.
Victoria, hears Verrak scream in pain as his flesh is ripped away. She storms into the room, clutching her holy symbol. She calls to her god to vanquish the unholy souls that infest this cavern. A burst of light, radiates from her bathing all of her companions and the foul undead in light, causing their flesh, or what would pass for it to burn. One zombie appears to not burn as long as its counterpart. The first zombie that attack Verrak looks a little worse for wear and has seen better undead days.

Z'hor'll will move into the cave, continuing to make quips about the zombies. When he gets to this point, he will cast Hydraulic Push to trip the zombie the stronger looking of the two zombies.(rather than bull rush, this is the feat Hydraulic Maneuver)
hydraulic trip attempt w/ inspire courage: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
As Z'hor'll finishes his spall, a torrent of water rushes out from him, attempting to wash the feet out from underneath the zombie. "You smell so bad, you need a bath! Don't stand up, face Verrak's wrath!"

you can only do hydraulic push 1/day as a racial ability unless I am missing something?
I have it as a spell as well.

Z'hor, his eyes shine a calm blue, but turn into a darker navy blue as out from his hand a jet of water explodes and rushes towards the zombie on Verrak's right. The zombie feet are unable to steady themselves and the undead falls to the ground. Partially flailing around trying to get some semblance of direction.

Slightly reeling from the zombies attack, Verrak braces himself and swings his hammer at the weaker looking zombie
Earth Breaker: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (3, 1) + 4 = 8

dont forget about my inspire courage for +1 to hit and damage

![]() |

Oh, and did Verrak kill the prone zombie, or the other one? Would the prone status have allowed Aldeath to hit? That's a +4 to the attack. Also, did Aldeath take the Inspire Courage into effect? Mostly trying to get this over, but making sure that everything is taken into consideration.

DM Stylz |

Verrak killed the standing zombie, you put the "healthier" zombie on the ground. Even with the prone / courage bonus Aldaerh still would have missed
Verrak, anger that the undead took some flesh, retaliates with a blow of his own. He connects, and well causing the head of the zombie to snap back and it falls to the floor.

Z'hor-tripped zombie
Neh--DMPC attack
Verrak--attacked and killed zombie 1 (taken 6 damage) & AOO on zombie
Aldaeth--attacked and missed & AOO on zombie
Zombie-- ( Z 2: 7 damage & up) stood up
Victoria--
Nehyril, seeing the zombie flailing on the ground, knows that hitting it with an arrow will be difficult to near impossible since his allies are close decides to confront in head on. He quickly drops his bow, draws his longsword as he steps towards it and slashes down at the enemy.
longsword: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 131d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
The blade cuts deep, but it's rubbery skin absorbs some of the blow. But Nehyril knows he got a good cut in. The zombie, not knowing any better stands up to attack the living again.
In doing so Nehyril takes the opportunity to take another hack at it. His blade again strikes true, but the power just indent enough to fight through the zombies decrepit flesh.
aoo: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 191d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Verrak & Aldaeth gets an AOO as well
attack Nehyril if the zombie survives AOOs: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 71d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 vs AC 18

Victoria will call forth an arc of electricity on the undead.
arc: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13 vs touch damage : 1d6 ⇒ 4 electric

DM Stylz |

DMPC Verrak: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 112d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 4) + 4 = 10
The zoombie, not knowing any better stands up to better kill the living. The combined attack of Aldaeth's slash of his sword, and Verrak crushing the zombie's neck down upon itself, it falls down into a crumpled mess. After a few moments, making sure nothing else comes to attack, the group can breathe a sigh of relief.
OUT COMBAT

"So, fellas, let's figure out what was going on in this room. Search completely, and all that."
Z'hor'll takes 20 on the searching, for a 24
Z'hor'll wanders the room, looking at everything, especially the skeleton that did now stand up. He wants every detail to report back to Janira.

DM Stylz |

As Z'hor searches the room, he pokes the skeleton. It still stays down, so he decides to search it for anything helpful or useful.
On the body, he finds a note that has detailed plans of creating an undead army of the "fish people". You can presume that it was written by the skeletal remains of the dhampir body.
You also find: bracers of armor +1, and pearl of power (1st level)

DM Stylz |

The group heads back to meet with Janira. You each take turns telling her about what you have heard, seen done and experienced.
You make your way back to Absolom, incident free. Once safely back in the Grand Lodge, Master of Scrolls Kreighton Shaine inquires excitedly about what you have found and asks to see your notes. He compliments those who recorded notes for being certain to write down ideas and observations while the thoughts are fresh, observing that it’s difficult enough to remember what one had for breakfast the day before as it is to recall exactly what one was thinking while studying an inscription. As you are now the foremost authorities on that cave and what it contains, Shaine also invites you to come up with its name.
The elf is certain to compliment Janira for her guidance and assistance, much to the halfling’s delight.
That is the end of the scenario. Thank you all for joining me on my first time as a DM, and I will get the game reported in the next day or two and get the chronicles out in approximately the same time frame. If you have not done so already, please roll a DAY JOB check.
