I think we're waiting on Stylz. There may be a little bit of a race condition going on as well... so, we should start moving forward IMHO

crazy busy lady couple days, update coming when at home. Sorry for the delay all, the ooze is still jiggling and wiggling

Rakessi, bounds forward, snarling. He leaps into the jiggling mass of goo and rips at it with all it might and takes a chunk of gooey mass as well. One presumes it has taken a lot if damage, but the overall consultancy of it doesn't reveal much information.

Z'hor and Verrak both take their own shots with their respective means of attack. Both attacks hit, but the amount of damage inflicted is unknown due to the gooeyness.

The blob, hungry and angry, as much as it can be lashes out at beast who has torn at it.

Meanwhile, Z'hor looses an arrow which sails far overhead and lands about 60 beyond the creature.

Terrain notes:

Spoiler:

These patches of woodland are also filled with underbrush that behaves as light undergrowth (Core Rulebook 426), creating difficult terrain and concealment. The trees are only a few decades old and do not completely occupy their respective squares. A creature that shares a space with one or more trees benefits from partial cover.
The stream is about 10 feet wide and 5 feet deep in this area, and the water moves downstream from east to west at 30 feet per round. Treat this as rough water, which requires a DC 15 Swim check to navigate. A Large creature can walk through the water as though it were difficult terrain with a successful DC 12 Strength check. On a failed Strength check, such a creature is checked and unable to move farther that turn. A 3-foot-diameter tree truck spans the width of the river, creating an impromptu bridge.

The trunk is slippery from the splashing water, and crossing it at half speed requires a successful DC 7 Acrobatics check, during which time the creature is treated as flatfooted for moving on a narrow surface. If the creature fails this check, it falls into the water unless it succeeds at a DC 13 Reflex save, in which case it lands prone on the trunk instead.

The remaining few of the party, still in momentary shock move up to face the beast. Nehyril moves up and let's loose an arrow. The Minotaur, tries to gore the troublesome halfling and end her puny life. The combination of the tar-like goo and Janira's nimbless she narrowly escapes the bovines pointy horns.

The stragglers continue to move up, heavy armor limiting Victoria while Z'hor moves and calls forth his heritage and shoots a blast of water at the pissed off bull, but it splashes harmlessly on his hands. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Neh, moves up and takes aim and fires another arrow. This time, being closer makes a big difference as the arrow strikes the cow in the leg. It still stands, but it certainly has its attention grabbed.

Janira, laughs at the bull and leaves, being careful to evade the creatures reach.

Janira will use withdraw action

Hi everyone. I wanted to try my hand at PFS DMing and I figured what better chance than now with the PbP Gameday 2 coming up.

The game I chose is Confirmation. Solely because I can replay it many times, and I think it is the easiest for me to get a grasp of PFS DMing so I don't get overwhelmed.

Recruitment starts now, the game will start the Monday on the 7th, and end before July 5th...otherwise I have EPIC failed :)

Silver Crusade

Posting for this Character.

First steps only.

Have played it once before but want to take advantage of its evergreen quality.

I am in will post character in a jiff

well I got 2 out of 4...at least I know I am not screwed since there is a month wait time...waiting sooo suuucckkkksss lol

Grand Lodge

I'd like to sign up with this character.
Half-elf summoner lvl 1.

Currently in Prince of Augustana, but that should be finished this month, soon i expect.
Another DM's thread is stuck, so spreading my chances.

Grand Lodge

withdrawing, i've got a spot in another confirmation.

Silver Crusade

Submitting Cleric 1 for consideration.

@ Victoria: Stats aren't there, just make sure they are there by gameday and you're in

Aldaeth and Scott (once a PFS guy is submitted) are both in.

So barring any dropouts, 3/4 are filled. Will take up to 6 total :)

Silver Crusade

Yep. Just fine tuning the build before posting stats. Will be there this week. :-)

I personally don't care when they go up, so long as I have enough time to double check it is all :)

If there's space, I'd like to join with my Summoner if that's ok?

Grand Lodge

Half Elf Summoner for consideration :) Please ignore my above post (Nuggs)

Dark Archive

If there is room, I'll have something ready by the time the game day starts. Not a clue as to what it will be, but if I am accepted, I'll build something that would round out the group.

Haven't played a Bard yet... maybe I'll do something with my Undine boon to make a Watersinger!

FYI - I have both played and GMed this. Since this can be replayed as many times as you like, I am stating this for disclosure (in case anyone would be uncomfortable with that fact).

I have played a couple times and first time DMing so I trust you :)

Verrak and Silbeg are both in.

That brings the total up to 5/6

Dark Archive

Cool. Now, I need to build me an undine watersinger.

Stylz, would you mind listing out the confirmed characters/players?

Thank you!

So, IIRC and read the posts correct. Projected lineup stands as:

1. Aasimar war priest
2. Aasimar cleric
3. Verrak half-elf summoner
4. Sibeg (Undine sorcerer?)
5. Scott (??)
6.

I've heard great things about this scenario and would love to give it a go. A half-Elf Ranger over here. I can make an alias later today.

So barring any drop-outs table is full :)

Silver Crusade

If you open the discussion thread we can post on that and it will show up on the players campaign tab. We can track the game from there and log in for the game day April 5th

Dark Archive

Watersinger is an Undine bard archetype. However, I've been doing some thinking, and he might end up being a "switch hitter" ranger. Still debating. Still pretty open on concepts (have the boon, but need to make it worth playing).

If someone has a strong preference, I can build him towards that way (since I can always rebuild later, before I play at 3+ xp).

And that is Silbeg (not Sibeg) ;)

Dark Archive

Looking forward to it! (Zoomba)

1. Aldaeth with aasimar war priest
2. Victoria with aasimar cleric
3. Verrak with half-elf summoner
4. Silbeg with (Undine sorcerer?)

Discussion/gameplay are up if you wish to dot :)

Opening up recruitment for 1 more player if anyone is interested. Got 5 total and need 1 more :)

Scarab Sages

I might be interested. Level 2 Magus, is that permissible?

Interested. Lvl 1 Gnome Sorcerer

The confirmation is replayable once as a 2nd level character with only one PFS character so this would be your one replay. If that is what you wanna do, then join in on the game.

If not then I will take the second person that posted with their PFS character :)

Alwayz willin to make sum klank. Count me in. (character sheet on profile) lvl 1 half orc rogue

I'm a bit confused- I've never done this session before. The GMs in my local PFS area have been on a year 0 mod kick.

If I recall correctly, The Confirmation is replay able unlimited times as a 1st level character and once as a 2nd level character. If I am wrong please someone let me know :)

Grand Lodge

No, you are correct, sir.

Ah, I thought you were implying I've already done it once.

I've done some thinking, though, and it's probably best to let that guy take his gnome in, then. I've got other level 1 characters but I'd rather just focus on this one. Thank you for being understanding and I hope I did not take up your time!

Sent a pm...if no answer in a day it so I may just roll with 5 peeps unless I can fill it quickly. If I get done with my first DM PFS quick enough I may try another for the gameday :)
