Okay, so it looks like the Alchemist deck is coming out to subscribers right away. We can wait a little bit while I get set up. So we have a Barbarian (I'm going with Ostog!) and an Alchemist and potentially a Wizard (Radillo).
If troymk isn't going to play, my son has said he'd be interested. He's out East right now and our cards are here, but we'll figure a way around that.

Okay, so we have:
Ostog the Barbarian (jduteau)
Alchemist (Malcolm)
Radillo the Wizard (cosined)
Oracle (I think? troymk)
Monk (Eddy)
Sounds good to me!
I'll get it set up which will take a little bit because I want to have the class decks scanned as well. There are some special cards in the decks that I'd like to know what they do without having to go dig them out. :) And that will give Malcolm some time to receive the Oracle deck.

jduteau |

I have the Scenario set up for 5 characters. It is going to be stressing out my CardWarden to handle the five characters with seven locations, but I'll manage. :)
I still need to scan in the various class decks so that I can track things, but we also have to wait for the Gameplay thread problem to be fixed. Surprisingly, I haven't heard anything from my email tomorrow. If it takes too long, I may just create a new campaign and inactivate this one.

Eddy accepted. I'll get him sorted here with a USerid etc and the excel spreadsheet to play.
I'm just waiting on Eddy and his character choice and they we can get started. I don't have the Alchemist deck, so Malcolm will have to tell us what his crazy new cards do, but I have everything else.

one other thing, and this applies to all of our games, I have the Iconic miniature boxes #1-#3, so we do have access to the Iconic Cards.
The Iconic cards are treated as Basic for the owner so they can start with them in their deck. All other characters of that class can choose them as an upgrade (they are considered B cards for upgrade purposes).
For this game:
Monk: Temple Sword +1 (Owner: Sajan)
For your combat check, reveal this card to use your Strength, Dexterity, or Melee skill + 1d8 +1; you may additionally recharge a blessing to add your Dexterity die.
Wizard: Arcane Robes (Owner: Ezren)
Bury this card to use your Arcane skill instead of any listed skill for your non-combat check. After playing this card, you may succeed at an Arcane 8 check to recharge this card instead of burying it.
Alchemist: Alchemy Lab (Owner: Damiel)
Bury this card to add a random item that has the Alchemical trait from the box to your hand.
Oracle: Seer's Headdress (Owner: Alahazra)
When you examine the top card of any deck, recharge this card to examine the bottom card of that deck. When you examine the bottom card of any deck, recharge this card to examine the top card of that deck.
Barbarian: Frost Giant's Sword +1 (Owner: Amiri)
For your combat check, reveal this card to use your Strength or Melee skill + 1d10 + 1; you may additionally discard this card to add 2d6 and the Cold trait.
For our other OP campaign, I do have:
Fighter: Tankard (Owner: Valeros)
Reveal this card to add 1 plus the current adventure deck number to your non-combat Constitution or Fortitude check. When you would banish a card that has the Liquid trait, recharge this card to recharge that card instead.
Rogue: Footpad's Boots (Owner: Merisiel) (NOTE: not sure if Jirelle gets this since she is using the Rogue deck or not)
Recharge this card to add 1 die to your Stealth or Acrobatics check. Discard this card to add an item fro your discard pile to your hand.
I will eventually be picking up #4-#6 which will give us a card for Crowe, Jirelle among all of the other ones.

Sorry about the delay. The monk choices are cool. Going with Sajan.
Sajan is a straight forward combat guy. My other option (Athnul) was more interesting but I don't think she'd survive the campaign.
The PDF template I found online (the tents) for Sajan's role cards isn't the same, but his character card is accurate. I'll post his stats either way.

EddyH |
Oh yeah, I saw the C version. Drunken master looks cool.
The tengu monk (Rooboo!) has some cool abilities too, like using Dex for any 'before you act' checks. Athnul could eventually use her Fortitude on any barrier checks.
Yeah, there were 4 good choices. Since we have an Oracle, I'm a little less worried about sacrificing health for evasions.

Sajan, Blade Sage |

I see. Any posts made with this alias are collected on the Character tab, but the Character tab itself is not a message board.
So, here is my deck:
Butterfly Sword, Kama, Rochin, Blood Periapt, Potion of Glibness, Trapsmith Gloves, Researcher, Quartermaster, Teamster, Turtle, BotG, BotG, BotG, BotG, BotG
And Hand:
Hand: Kama, Quartermaster, Teamster, Blessing of the Gods, Blessing of the Gods
(Displayed: )
Deck: 10 Discard: 0 Buried: 0
Note:

EddyH |
Aha. I forgot to post Sajan's stats.
Sajan
SKILLS
Strength d6
Melee: Strength +2
Dexterity d10
Acrobatics: Dexterity +3
Constitution d6
Fortitude: Constitution +2
Intelligence d6
Wisdom d8
Charisma d6
--
POWERS
HAND SIZE 5
PROFICIENT WITH Weapons
If your combat check has the Slashing trait, add 2
Blessings played on your combat check may add d12 instead of the normal die; you may recharge any such blessing you played instead of discarding it.

Newbie question.
I may have made a error when setting up my deck. I was basing my deck on cards with the Basic trait only. Would any Scenario B cards have been available?
I was getting information from the regular card game mixed up, and did not add anything with the Elite trait.
For instance:
Kusarigama
Temple Sword - which is also has Owner: Sajan.
I really don't mind waiting til the end of this mission. All weapons are good. :) But it also won't affect any cards in my hand if I make a change.

Creating a character is the same in the standard game and in OP. A new character at the start of the game may only start with boons with the Basic trait. A character listed as the owner of a boon may treat it as if it has the Basic trait, so you may replace another Basic weapon with the Temple Sword.

Troymk1 |

The Owner trait confers the Basic trait for that card to whomever the Owner is
But adding some stuff from threads
"On a related note, there are now FOUR weapons which list Sajan as owner: one P, one B, one 3, and one 6.
So, given that Deck Upgrades are the only way to add deck number 3 and 6 cards to your Character Deck from your Class Deck box (since Sajan can only every have six Weapons, and there are more than 6 Weapon B cards in the Class Deck), is there a game mechanic use in OP for the Owner tag on the deck 3 and 6 weapons? Would it come up in AP, rather than OP?
In non-OP, Sajan can treat those as basic. So once they are in the box (i.e. once you start that adventure) if he is short a weapon, he can choose that one. So if you have started deck 6 and everyone rebuilds and Sajan is short a weapon, he can take that deck 6 weapon he owns, because it is Basic to him.
But beyond that, the PSACG Guide and the standard game rules differ on building your deck. The standard game rules say that when you need to add a card you can choose any Basic card. The PSACG Guide does not say this. Instead it explicitly names the deck number you can use.
According to the guide, the highest level card you can add to your deck without using an upgrade is the current adventure - 2. So treating a level 3 or 6 card as Basic has no impact in OP play.
