New item: Silver Raven Figurine

Recharge this card to give a weapon, an armor, or an item to another character.

Recharge this card to allow another character to give a weapon, an armor, or an item to you.

You are allowed to play this card when a character encounters a card.

First choice Item, second choice Weapon.

If Alahazra and Myrtle want an item, we could have a 3 way roll off!

Sajan can't use spells or armor, and doesn't mind taking left overs or none.

I started with 3 pretty good weapons, so if anyone gets a good upgrade from those, please take it.

The "Silver Raven Figurine" (item) is interesting. It recharges to allows me to give or take a weapon, armor or item from another player, and can be played when a player encounters a card.

I don't think any of you would benefit from my weapons or vice versa. I'd likely banish any armor you lend me, and I'd have 2 other possible items to send off, if they are in my hand.

So I guess I'm saying it's a corner case item, but it SOUNDS cool. Heheh.

+1 ;-)

Wow, I totally missed that. Plus it's a game rule I know. Yeah, I was scatter brained last night. :p

Seriously. Second time I get all worked up over a fight. Of course, I can't avoid damage this time.

Acid damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Goblin effect: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Oh right. The villain isn't necessarily on top. /bonk

Yeah, I could weather a hand wipe either way. Onward through the Farmhouse!

Lag. I'm out for a couple of hours. I could try to take Gogmurt, but I'd have to make 2 combat checks with 1 weapon, no other card to assist.

That said, my weapon + skill is d10 +d6 +3 +2.

Back later.

No, but I think Gogmurt is there. The Farmhouse was shuffled when he ran off.

I just saw the card for Gogmurt. Nicely done.

That's a clever way to randomize it. Clearly you've played this game before!

Ah, yes! In that case, Sajan rests content in the foolishness and generosity of goblin folk.

Ah, we roll our own effects damage? If so .. one body modification accident incoming ...

1d4 ⇒ 2

Mmm. Right on the cusp. I'll discard the Blood Periapt to reduce the damage, and try to recharge the Periapt.

recharge Fort6 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 (discarded)

What is the check to obtain the Light Crossbow?

I'm glad you are temp closing sites, because this may not be Sajan's best solo fight. At least I won't need the Potion of Glibness for this encounter.

A goblin effect is .. [dice=]1d6

Wait, really? :) I suppose I still need to take some fire damage, yes? Like monks do.

@City Gate, would like to go to Farmhouse but the dog keeps biting

I do like dogs, but the only food I have for him is my Turtle, so maybe later.

Meanwhile, I wonder if the Goblin Fortress has any goblins. Let's find out!

I like to see treacherous caves working for us. Even so, I'm happy to see the place closed. You can count on a blessing.

Mother Myrtle Madam Mycophagist wrote:

I do not have a good way to fight the Henchman, so I might be moving away next turn.

Remember you have to pass a Con or Fort check to move. That cave is Treacherous!

Alternately, Ostog's rage or Sajan's spinning blade could remove the henchman. I have a straight d8 Wisdom to close the location (Wis/Surv 7).

Ugh. Walking Cake. Now that was a valiant but messy battle.

2d12 + 1d10 + 1d6 + 5 - 0 ⇒ (3, 5) + (6) + (4) + 5 - 0 = 23

Sajan (and Alahazra) bring down Gogmurt's large henchman, but not before some other wretched creature runs off to hide at another location.

Best we close the Warrens. Sajan will discard a Blessing of the Gods to make his closing check.

2d10 + 3 ⇒ (9, 1) + 3 = 13

Now that's it's safe, Sajan draws up and ends his turn.

Goblin trait: 1d6 + 0 - 0 ⇒ (2) + 0 - 0 = 2

Excellent. My first combat. The check is 18.

With my Acrobatics training and a Kama in hand, I can do:
d10 +3, +d6, +2.

I'll use a Blessing of the gods to add a d12 die. (FYI any Blessings added to my combat checks add d12 instead of the normal die).

That puts me at d6 + d10 + d12 +5, to hit 18.

I'm right at the edge (so to speak). Can anyone assist with a small boost? Any little thing would help.

Sajan stays at the Warrens, and explores.

I don't mean to put it on the GM to post stats if there's a good wiki. I do want to use a source you recommend though, so we are on the same page.

I just had an AHA moment.

I don't have a PACG set. I only have the Monk Class deck. I knew that part already. :p

And I knew we'd get boons, but didn't ask sooner how to get the stats on them. I was still thinking of the boons as placeholders for end of mission deck management. Probably because ppl use a placeholder card in their physical deck to represent the card. Who knows.

I must have thought I would look them up as the cards were shown, and didn't follow up to ask where to do that, or ask for a better suggestion.

Hey, like I said, I'm a newbie at the online / organized play.

So, hehehe, any suggestions?

Hand size is 5 right? Only 4 cards listed before.

Yes. Gaining a boon with this character threw me off. :)

Ah. In that case, unless someone in my location next turn wants the Long Sword (Ostog?), I'll discard it to draw a proper card.

I already drew / posted the other card draw, my ally Turtle.

One more question. In the sheet, do we note a recharged card as 'Deck'?

And thanks for helping my learning curve. I've got a decent handle on tabletop play, but this is my first online campaign.

Then you probably don't want to hear that I was holding a Quartermaster in my hand. Which I will recharge to obtain the Long Sword. In your honor Ostog!!

1d8 + 1d6 + 2 - 0 ⇒ (7) + (2) + 2 - 0 = 11

Mysterious Fates have kept me from combat this round.

I hear the Warrens calling to me. Or maybe it's the sword. No matter.

Melee: Strength check for the bastard sword
1d6 + 2 - 0 ⇒ (2) + 2 - 0 = 4

As expected. It was too heavy.

Discard the Teamster to explore the Warrens again.

Good choice!

I see. Any posts made with this alias are collected on the Character tab, but the Character tab itself is not a message board.

So, here is my deck:

Butterfly Sword, Kama, Rochin, Blood Periapt, Potion of Glibness, Trapsmith Gloves, Researcher, Quartermaster, Teamster, Turtle, BotG, BotG, BotG, BotG, BotG

And Hand:

Guided by his faith, Sajan takes this moment to reflect on his absence on the Character tab, suspecting that this very message will add him.
