Is that last perception for Cerilis or Sylas?

Thanim hears the others talking outside, but concerns himself with his work within. He prepares his remaining spell slots (Shield of Faith, Shield Other) and tends to his patients. Recognizing that soon, it will be his time to be cared for, he makes plans to explain his satchel to Bynoth, "He likes his battles, but he can heal, too." He lays out his shield with his crossbow and straps his mace to his belt. "Pelor, hopefully, these will not be necessary, but grant me thy strength if they are."

Once he has made his rounds in the cabin, he steps out the door. "Bynoth!" he calls out, "Scourge of Hextor! Do not get too close, but I have 2 things for you. First, a ring." He places a ring on his own finger then sets another down. "Put on this ring, and if things do not go well, when you are close to me I shall call upon Pelor to protect you and have me share your pain. Second, this satchel. When it becomes such that any of us need care, this kit is blessed of Pelor and will help when giving aid. Use it to keep us in this battle for life." He explains the use before giving a grim smile and returning to the cabin.

There is a feeling of foreboding all around you; the forest is dark and silent not single insect or animal is making a noise. The three companions can feel it...first Cerelis sees them, just shadows in the trees, silhouettes, dark images amongst the darkness. Then Bynoth sees them on his side, at first he senses them but his eyes lock on to their images mixed in with the darkness, trees, and grass. Maja turns and sees that Bynoth is staring into the woods his body is tensed. The creatures seem to blend back into the surrounding area.

They gain concealment and cover.

The dogs all begin to howl and as they do inside the house Harry and Sylas can feel an overwhelming sense of dread. At first it as if someone tightened a vice around their chest and suddenly it was around their entire body squeezing...then their heads feel like someone stabbed a hot burning poker in the back of their neck. It goes away as the howling stops, slowly fading away to nothing...but it was a poke at the two sick companions by the creatures outside. Thanim can see the sudden pain the two are in as he turns to try and mark the direction of the howling.

First group of Dogs

Sylas sees the three dogs in the brush and trees to the southwest as he moves along the southern side of the roof. One of them in the center looks right at Cerilis...its glowing emerald green eyes glare right at him. Those eyes seem to have wisps of vapor coming off them and although hard to tell it appears this is one of the dogs from the farm that ran off. It is different now...its fur has all fallen off and the skin appears dark and malformed and diseased. It seems to push the other two dogs away from itself and then it turns back to the house and it opens its mouth... The mouth seems to elongate and the jaws seem to move in a way that is not possible. Out of its mouth comes some form of language you have not heard before and mixed into it a mix of incantations and barking. The sounds are horrible in nature...they stab at your soul.

Spellcraft DC19 Know Arcana 5 ranks add +2:

The creature seems to be calling forth some form of dark magic that will curse the area with a stinking cloud.

Spellcraft DC24 Know Arcana and/or Know Religion 5 ranks add +2:

The creature is calling a form of dark magic that will curse the area with a stinking cloud. The curse is a mix of magical incantations and some fouler more ancient language. It sounds like Abyssal or Infernal but older and darker.

As the thing calls its dark magic forth the two dogs by its side seem to stomp their feet and spin around in excitment as they nip and bark. The ground three fire pits to the west and right near Maja starts to make weird noises like air popping out from the dirt and then she sees a sickly green vapor start to rise from the ground.

Sticking Cloud - GREEN CIRCLE next round will engulf that area.

Thanim hears the dogs howl and sees his ill companions react. "This disease, this sickness, is unnatural, evil to its core. It seems to summon these stricken animals. They are drawn to and intensify the suffering." He shakes his head to clear it of the dread thoughts and wipes Cerilis' forehead, doing what he can to give comfort.

Maja cries out. "Oh no!", but the thought barely has time to form before Thanim scoops up his shield and crossbow. "Don't worry," he tells the others in the cabin, "Keep the door shut and we'll take care of this." He hustles out the door and lets it shut beind him, "Though the sun has set, give us strength that we may see it rise once more." He takes position at the door and surveys the circumstance.

You hear Maja and Sylas call out alerting everyone to the intruders...then you hear what sounds like a dog but it is much more...the sound is an incantation...but it is mixed with some sort of foul language...something you have never heard. The cabin walls are muffling the sound so it is hard to nail down the specifics...but it can't be good.

I double checked the edit rights and it is set for everyone to be able to edit the map.

I centered it on a spot just behind the tree in front of the ravine. That would put all three in the ravine. Let me know if are fine with this...BLUE LINE CIRCLE. What is your DC for the spell?

Second (North) and Third (Northeast) Group of Dogs

The possessed dog looks at Maja move out of the befouled area from the first possessed dog. It calls out in the same dark language, it is almost incomprehensible, but it is both dark and sinister at the same time. As the creature calls on whatever dark force it calls master the ground under and around Maja and near Bynoth begins to bubble and bouts of dark green gas comes out of the ground. Thanim can see it now as is on the porch and he hears the dark calling of the creature. The third possessed dog also calls out on these dark forces, the sound is similar. The ground to the east of Maja and Byntoh also begins to bubble and air begins to pop all around them as a green foul gas begins to seep out of the ground. The infected dogs in both the north and the northeast group seem to jump in excitement and move forward ready to charge but something is holding them back. As that occurs you hear Sylas casting a spell on the roof. The casting is so different from what you hear from the two demonic looking dogs... As Sylas finishes suddenly from the northeast all of you hear yelping and this weird barking but it is almost humoniod sounding in a way... In the shadows you can see three dogs are caught up in a bunch of sticky web strands.

Thanim, Bynoth, and Sylas can make another Spellcraft roll and add any synergy bonus for this casting and the casting by the third possessed dog.

Both Sylas Web spell and group 2 and group 3 possessed dog's spells go off at the same time.

Maja needs to make a FORT save (DC13).
Bynoth needs to make a FORT save (DC13). I am not making you roll twice as both spells are affecting the same area.

He can hear the barking and yelping from the dogs in the northeast, caught in the web that Sylas cast to hold them in place.

Group 1

The two infected dogs from the southwest dash down towards the west side of the house. Their ears pinned down, fangs barred looking to breach the barriers of the encampment.

The dog with the green glowing eyes looks at Sylas and howls...the howl is long and drawn but then it again calls forth in a series of growls and some dark deformed language. Sylas can see the thatched roof begin to pop up and down as whiffs of foul green gas spout out of the roof and area around him.

Those in the house can see the long branches and thatch above their heads move around as weird noises come from above their heads.

A bank of fog billows out from the point you designate. The fog obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. A creature within 5 feet has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker can’t use sight to locate the target).

Round 2

Bynoth remains outside as no clear foe attempts to breach their bulwarks and defences.

The priest of war moves to a more central position in-front of the cabin (20ft. Move), smiling cruelly to himself;

These lapdogs of pestilence seek to distract and chew at our defenses... Savvy but they did not account for a Soldier of Hextor to stand vigil against them...

He raises his own voice in prayer, bestowing the warmongering blessings of his god to the group;

"Lord of Conflict: The Many Arms of War! His will shall be obeyed!"
"Hear this oath from your servant in bloodshed and student of battle!"
"Grant those who stand with me your lore, your keen edge."
"So that they too may proffer bloodied iron and hewed foes!"
"And hold our enemies hearts in the glorified flame!"
"Lord of Conflict: The Many Arms of War!"
"Glory to Hextor! His will shall be obeyed!"

Standard Action - Cast Prayer: +1 luck bonus on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saves, and skill checks, while each of your foes takes a -1 penalty on such rolls. 40ft Radius burst from Bynoth.

Round 2
Conditions: Healthy | 57 HP | +3 Deflection | +2 Luck

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 (listen for dogs advancing)

Thanim sets the crossbow on the porch and readies his shield. He searches through the dense fog, but can make out nothing beyond a few feet. Giving up on seeing anything, he listens intently. He hears the sorcerer above and calls out to him, "Sylas, get out of that cloud! It's from evil and will do you no good!" He then looks at Bynoth, "What is this foul stench, anyway? I heard the terrible words, but could not understand them." He casts Shield of Faith (Glory) upon himself and stands ready.
