I tend to look at it this way. It wouldn't be a quest if there wasn't a bonus given afterwards. I'll post something IC for accepting the letters.

I suggest we split the party. I know, never split the f=ing party, but this way we can cover ground. Plus the GM is doing things online at his own pace, so he doesn't really need to worry about changing the CR split second. I think that I should go with only 1 other person. Chances are it'll be a social mission, so someone with a positive CHA would be nice. My combat skills will suffice for what we want to do.

I wouldn't mind if the party was split, I have plans for all of it.

hm....I bet we could find some crabs while looking for Grandpappy since we do not know were he is either.

i would caution too many sidequests at once. i had a GM literally overload PCs with various routes to success on various missions and the PCs treated each one like it had to be done. So i suppose i would also caution about PC "completionism" as well.

Worry not, these will come at a slower than normal pace, mainly because I'm still thinking this crap up as we go.

You don't have to give us data on our enemies unless someone makes a Knowledge: Nature check on them, GM. We are pretty powerful for a 2nd level party as is. You've done a great job of conveying the desolation of Fallout in prose. I can actually see the things asthey are represented. That can be a problematic side of GMing. Good Stuff.

The reason I'm giving you all the stats of an enemy is because I don't always have time to be in for a full combat since work takes up most of my time.

I have the stats so you guys can figure out your own stuff without me and continue on if need be. Fallout 3 and NV do this when you go into VATS, and I'm emulating that as best I can.

Yes and no, Marcel. Their DR is always 1/2 damage unless you do a Called Shot to hit the face or make a sneak attack. Otherwise their armor is too tough for anything else.

How much less HP are the mirelurks going to have? Otherwise we're going to have to hope that we get paid enough per pound to make up our serious ammo costs.

More than likely they will have around 30-60 hp, depending on the version: Mirelurk or Mirelurk Hunter.
