Aw, well thank you and no problem. This was in a spoiler called "Quinn's update" (after he had scouted the interior).
This is what the scouts found upon entering the police station. They passed through a double-door with frosted glass panes. Next to the entrance was a small plaque that reads 'POLICE HQ No. 6'.
Once inside, the three of them were in a short entry hallway. The entry hall emptied into a large, central room of the police station...a square room with hallways branching off towards a back entrance (directly across, to the west), some offices (to the south), and the "pens" or jail cells (to the north). All three of these wings were barricaded by sturdy metal bars with locked gates.
In the middle of the central room was a bizarre-looking pedestal, an unusual sculpture of stacked, floral-shaped domes, upon which was affixed a swing-arm...
The minute-hand of the clock!
There were gas lamps hanging from the ceiling. They were dim and flickering, or busted out completely and dark. There was a collection of desks and chairs around the room, some of them overturned, with documents scattered around on the floor. Streaks of blood trailed along the tiled floor leading to the barricaded wings. Upon closer inspection, the bars were jammed with planks of wood and the corpses of Quinn's fellow officers.
There was a sickly stench in the air. The place buzzed with carrion flies.
Ianez detected that the device with the clock hand is rigged with a trap. There are undead in the shadows around the room.
The three crystal foci that your party members are carrying hummed loudly in the presence of the clock hand.

@Network - I have some train that I have to perform and I won't be in the office for the next two days so posting may be difficult during the day. I'll try to find a network connection. Posting from a phone really sucks.

Sandru |

Oh, that's no good...
It's funny because it reminds me of something I'm about to do... Smite Evil (in another game) against someone with concealment. Smite Evil bypasses DR, but doesn't help concealment one bit!
And of course in both our cases... the dice won't help.

La Siréene |

AHHH! IT FLIES! And um... misses me? ...I have an AC of 19, how does that keep happening?
Sandru, have you given the Wights your dice?
Also, um... while I do not mean to be mean, please don't call a wight a wraith. The thought of a wraith appearing out of nowhere and attacking was damn scary, and that was before I looked them up on the srd and found out they have 1d6 con drain.

So, my question is this...my intuition is last encounter this game has sort of slowed. There is a Part IV. I need each PC player to let me know if they would like to continue. If so, that is great b/c obviously we've spent a lot of time together and everyone is very valued. If on the other hand you need or want to drop out, please let me know. Please PM or post accordingly.

La Siréene |

I appreciate this gesture: If a person does not want, or cannot, keep playing, that has to be ok. The only way to have confidence in the game is to have an accepting dialogue between GM/players.
I want to and intend to keep playing. I have confidence in this game, and there is so much I want to do.
However, there is a lot going on in my personal life, and there is a lot I feel a need to get on with for the game. (Finally rewrite La Siréene's character sheets to accommodate for her changes as a character, Get working on the flavor text for La Siréene's corruption by the void energies (Spoilers!:3), etcetera.)
I'll probably be better after the break between Act III and Act IV, which I assume we will have, since the last two were very good to have.

Sandru |

I'm all in. Sandru's effectiveness may have diminished, but that is in-game situational.
Zero-G combat was confusing and his 1 round missed the dead monk both times, then his skill monkey attempts were a 4 and a 2. Frackin' die roller!
I'm OK with whatever pace we continue at.

Thanks for your responses, yes, I'm just taking the temperature of things so we're all on the same page. This third part of the campaign was a little longer than the previous two, so I thought I'd check in. We'll be having a break soon.
This brings up another good point. If there are any special items or ways you want to trick out your character for the next level, let me know.
Hareton awaits!

Kwanjan Quinn |

Hell yeah! I'm in!
I feel the same way. lol.
This is a great campaign and looking forward to what you have in store for us.I haven't thought about what items to get Quinn. Maybe getting a +2 belt of strength and/or increase the composite strength of the bow to +3.

It helps to spell it out for me and assume I don't know what you're getting at exactly, e.g. "Let's put it in the backpack because it's an extradimensional space." Towards the end of Part 3, I was experiencing GM overload, and there was discussion of options, but not a clear agreement or finalized strategy between PCs as to how to transport the clock hand. The backpack is a good idea, but the post is written now, so we'll go with the narrative and move forward from here. If you want to transport the clock hand in the backpack in the future, that's a viable option.

I had a worry that a non-dimensional space might cause us to discuss nuclear physics and whether a radioactive element inserted into said non-dimensional space might have no place for the neutrons to go and thus achieve critical mass.
The way we've gone seems good though.

Earl J V Caromarc |

Okay, I don't want to spoil the beautiful imagery at the end of the last post with cruddy mechanics but...
I figure Caromarc would take a while casting Make Whole on the Manservant before he goes to sleep.
The Manservant can actually provide long term care to the radiation-ill. Okay if we assume that happened?
Manservant would like to transcribe a couple of Caromarc's spells, and assuming the "24 hour period" is over switch out a formulae. Definitely would want to make a Mutagen, and could do so while being repaired.

Fortunately, what I think the element ended up being is either an alpha/gamma (e.g., radium-226) or beta/gamma (e.g., cobalt-60) emitter; none of the common neutron-producers run to high specific activity.

Dammit! I have not been seeing the new posts in this forum, so I've been missing out.
As others have said, the break is welcome but I'll be gassed up for Act IV. I like the wrap-up post, and the concept art might be the best yet...
