Is anyone else worried about Raogru? First, he apparently casts haste at 1 round per level and his castees have time to scatter and get in position to ambush us from either side of the road before it expires, and now he can cast a 60-foot-radius globe of darkness? :P
Looks like it's all on the half-orcs now.

Prove me wrong, kids; prove me wrong.
Hey, it's not just you, DB3. LoreKeeper's barely around these days either, but since Mahjik's as blind as the rest of us, there's no point picking on him this time. ;)

Why does it surprise me that Douena doesn't have continual light?
You mean continual flame? It's a third-level spell, and Douena doesn't have third-level spells, because multiclassing as a caster means never being able to make a meaningful contribution ever because you don't have access to continual flame or daylight or dispel magic or stone to flesh or fly or raise dead or break enchantment or restoration or death ward or whatever when the module expects you to.
Mahjik bought an everburning torch created by a cleric for the specific purpose of overcoming darkness, however, now that I think about it. So there will be a point in picking on LoreKeeper for not posting.

I miss Melf's acid arrow. I once had a campaign with a low-level wizard NPC named Melf, who always had to explain, "Not that Melf," when he introduced himself.
But, yeah, I have a hard time looking up spells sometimes because I can't remember what they're called anymore. Used to be, as long as you remembered 'Leomund,' they were all right there together in the Ls.

Anyone want the Hide +1?
I actually wear Hide Armor.
Small hide armor? :P
Drat, missed that.
They do seem to go to extremes to make sure the treasure found isn't immediately useful in this AP, don't they? What are the odds a Small PC will want to slow himself even further to wear medium armor? :P
Also, Navior, did you miss Urza's question?
Navior, how potent is the magic on the mace?

What? I'm only down 2 hp. ;)
Sounds like my bard on Monday. He's a blue(Psionic Goblin) Bard, and spent his time healing the others. He saved their lives three times.
Party: lv1 Elven Soulknife, lv2 Human Magus, lv2 Blue Bard
That nights enemies: several orcs, and one lv2 Orc Barbarian(rage + ferocity = 50hp and it was swinging a Greataxe that could drop us in one lucky blow)
I didn't get hit the entire session. :)

I've been putting off writing this for a few days as I really don't want to do this. However, I've come to the conclusion that I don't have a choice. I'm back at school full time for a year (from two weeks ago to next May). I have 30 class hours per week (that's including a practicum assignment), plus attendant readings and assignments (those readings are already piling up on me). My program also requires that I fit in a minimum of two hours of community service every week. On top of that, I'm trying to maintain part-time work so that I actually have a bit of money to pay bills with. Over the past week or so, I've had to think carefully about what things I need to cut--at least for the time being.
I don't want to end my pbps permanently, as these games (especially Serpent's Skull) have been very important to me. They've helped me through some rough patches over the last few years. As such, I'm not so much ending the games as I am putting them on hiatus. If people are around in a few months and still want to be part of them, hopefully we can resume them once my schedule clears up a little again.
I want to thank everyone for a great game. It's been huge fun for me, and I really wish I didn't have to put it aside for now.
:(
Michael.

I'm still here. I will confess I'm a little surprised. I figured this one was over. Typically the school folk don't tend to return. I only say that because of the few folks who have dropped out due to school and have never returned. :P
Hey, you're the first to prove me wrong. Kudos. :)

I'm not surprised if anyone thought this game was totally dead. I disappeared more completely than I had intended, pretty much vanishing entirely from these boards for the last eight or nine months. The workload was much more intense than I anticipated.
But I'm back now!
Of course, depending how many people are still around and how many actually still want to continue, the game might be dead anyway.
I'm also still reorganizing myself, so it'll be a few more days at least before I'm ready to resume the game--probably not until early next week.

It seems that American holiday weekends, while powerful, are surmountable, as both Dragonborn and Lorekeeper have replied to my PMs. :)
Hopefully, they'll check in hear soon and we can discuss what we're going to do. I suppose the first question ought to be, just to be sure, do people want to continue this campaign? Given the length of time away from it, I would understand if anyone felt it's time to move on.

Heeeey :) everybody comes to life! And Joana! You must be keeping a close eye on the boards to be so well informed, good job.
Between Serpent Skull and Savage Tide, I'd definitely would prefer bringing Mahjik (Serpent Skull) back to life.
To that end - as Joana mentioned - I've published my first PDF, Monk Unfettered. I would love to re-create Mahjik within the rules of that book. I'm happy to send Navior a copy "on the house" for that. Or to anybody here who wants to take a look to review it.

LoreKeeper was doing a lot of posting in relation to the Unchained monk and his own 3PP in April and early May, but looks like he hasn't posted anywhere since the 12th.
Dragonborn's around, but he tended to forget about us when we were active. ;P
Who are you again..?

The ghost in the system. Haunts the Paizo forums, but as a consequence is an oracle of the system.

I scoff at your channeled energy; I have the rejuvenation special ability. ;)
Rejuvenation (Su): In most cases, it's difficult to destroy a ghost through simple combat: the “destroyed” spirit restores itself in 2d4 days. Even the most powerful spells are usually only temporary solutions. The only way to permanently destroy a ghost is to determine the reason for its existence and set right whatever prevents it from resting in peace. The exact means varies with each spirit and may require a good deal of research, and should be created specifically for each different ghost by the GM.

Hey, look: It's that evil monkey-man we just fought!
So where have you disappeared to now, Navior?
