Espy knows that the club is still Greasey, but readies again.
The cyclops reaches for his Club 1d20 ⇒ 5
Then he gives up and tries to punch grung again, as he knows where he is
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 for 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 1d100 ⇒ 86 Grung takes a punch clean in the face.
That attack provoked an AOO from Grung and Impy
Impatiens Pallida |
Impy whacks the big bad with her sword.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 for 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 1) + 6 = 11 AOO
She also whacks it as her action as follows:
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 for 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 4) + 6 = 16 while yelling her battle cry

The Cyclops is not yet dead. The party can choose to kill him or not.
Serching the room finds several gold and gems.
Railroading commences!
Deciding to honor the wishes of the dead man they decide to make for the nearest settlement through the entrance that is discovered through the tunnel behind the throne.
The nearest settlement is Port Peril and that is where the corpse's brother can be found. Perhaps our heroes will deliver the ring.
Espy Kismet |
"He was an excellent bodyguard. Shame he didn't have much of a choice in the matter when he took that bolt. If anyone asks how he died, he protected all of us from an army of kobolds, skeletons, zombies and a giant cyclops. Took their arrows and slings, but stood firm. He stood his ground not even falling after he was dead."
Epsy would give him immortality as a legend. Lou, the slayer of a thousand kobolds, protector of small children and lasses, who never used a weapon.
Also he'll suggest to deliver this ring.
Impatiens Pallida |
Bring ring to friend. Impy nods emphatically.

It is not long before the party finds their way into the light again. Each of them with some gold from the armor and some jewels from behind the throne. It takes several days of travel but before long they find themselves on the outskirts of Port Peril.
Everyone advance to level 2 and you may repurchase ALL OF YOUR EQUIPMENT TO HAVE A TOTAL VALUE OF 1000 GP
There are several taverns in and it is not hard to learn that the one mentioned in the note is the seediest one in town. Everyone is able to point the party in that direction.
As the walk in the see the cliche seedy bar. Wenches tiredly talkin to patrons. Patrons eyeing and grabbing them as they drink their swill. One old man sits in the corner drinking cheap wine and singing a sea shanty to no one in particular
Impatiens Pallida |
Impatiens takes a good long look around. She concludes that there is little chance of getting what she really wants, tea and a tiny crustless cucumber sandwich and maybe some nice biscuits. She strides to the bar and in a loud, clear voice demands "Beer me!"
Not spotting anyone from her past, she glowers at the assorted sordid bar patrons.

once everyone has leveled and is at the tavern I believe we can migrate to the other thread: over here
if not the case let me know.
I will work on some observations later tonight and also let me know if anybody is going to the market area (this will have to be during the daytime).
