Growling a little as the annoying creature flee's, she turns her attention to the mutt. A quick thrust at the creature's flank is all she can really manage at the moment though.

Sefanit uses her magic, engulfing both the winged psychopomp and the savage four-legged one in a cone of fire – though they are both able to avoid the worst of the flames. Emilia uses the distraction to stab at the one, scoring a solid hit though her weapon doesn’t seem strong enough to hurt it as badly as she’d hoped (-2 to damage). Hasina is loathe to let go of her enemy and steps forward to continue her fight with Ajin, but again fails to connect! Francis calls out angrily to Nakht, condemning the intentions of the priest as he heals is friends again, though the spiritual weapon he summoned cannot seem to connect with its target. Nakht’s features twist in anger and scorn as he responds to the cleric. “You dare to speak ill of how I choose to serve The Lady of Graves? My summoned servants are far more effective against the undead than they are against living creatures such as yourselves – you who believe that you and your puny friends can accomplish what I and my agents cannot! But you and Sebti will both soon realize how foolish you are in your beliefs!” Elliander continues to press his attack
One of the Esobok psychopomps continues to attack Elliander, though this time only one claw tears into the duskblade’s flesh (3 damage). Ajin Ra Baqa continues to drift closer to Francis, though finding the unarmored Sefanit in its path, it slashes at her with its scythe, connecting once and slashing a deep wound into her shoulder (13 damage). The other Esebok continues to focus on Hasina as she attacks Ajin, flanking her against its master and biting down hard on her forearm, though she wrests it away from the creature’s jaws, even as one of its claws tears into her leg (10 damage).

Elliander Celandi |

Having overcome the initial shock of the dreadful opponents, Elliander gets a little too confident and his swings miss the target instead. He reminds himself, that this is not a simple game and that any insurances made by Nakht of not killing them could quickly be invalidated. He grits his teeth in determination and attacks again.
Continue to attack the red “Mastiff”.

Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Sefanit Batinayad |

Sefanit skitters away from the scythe-wielding psychopomp, taking cover behind Francis and Emilia. She knows that working magic on outsiders can be dodgy, and figures the one with the scythe is the one her spells would be mostly likely to fail against.
She puts aside her desire for retribution and decides to help whittle down the weaker ones. With a few arcane words and a gesture, Sefanit curses the dog-like psychopomp beside Hasina and Emilia.
5' step, move to put wand away, standard to cast Ill Omen on yellow psychopomp.

Francis Thrannel |

Even though his attack isn't working, and the healing isn't keeping pace, Francis continues. He sees the solid hit Hasina gives the thing and hopes his spirit blade might hit as well.

Sefanit steps away from the creature and again summons her magic to strike at the creature – but this time her spell seems to hit a wall and she realizes that the vanth psychopomp is resistant to magic! Emilia stabs at the thing and though she connects, her dagger is deflected as though she struck a steel door (DR -10 = 0 damage). Hasina shouts a battle cry and whips her flail around with a vengeance, striking Ajin full in the chest – causing the monster to stagger back through the air. It fixes her with its soulless stare, as though realizing that it has indeed encountered a formidable foe. Francis again heals his allies and tries to bring his spiritual weapon to bear, but again the summoned dagger has no luck in finding its target – though the cleric wonders if its magic will penetrate its defenses anyway. Locked in his own struggle, Elliander strikes again at the esobok and connects, his sword blasting through the creature’s skull, destroying it!
The surviving Esebok snaps and claws again at Hasina, and though she avoids its jaws the talons tear into her flesh. (8 damage). Ajin Ra Baqa swings its massive scythe, connecting solidly with the first blow (13 damage) – though Hasina is able to just dodge out of the way of the killing blow as the blade slashes through the air inches from her exposed neck!

Party is up!! Elliander, you can take a ‘free’ move action if you’d like, since you finished your foe with a standard attack in Round 3 and so you can take your move action during that round – as well as posting your action for the current Round 4. Sefanit, I realized belatedly that Ajin has SR. I’m not retro-rolling the Caster Check for your Flaming Hands spell you cast earlier though, we’ll just presume you made the roll. From now on, you can make your own Caster Checks as appropriate if you use magic again. Francis, it appears that you’ll make the roll for your Spiritual Weapon once it actually strikes the target, so feel free to make your own Caster Check with your next post – whether it hits or not. We’ll save that roll for the first time it strikes.
Elliander 40/41 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear); 5 HP (of 10) absorbed by Armor Crystal]; 3 (of 4) charges on Chill Touch spent

Francis Thrannel |

Seeing how bad Hasina is hurt Francis moves closer to her and tries to cast a spell of healing. His Spiritual Weapon slices again, failing to hit again, then winks out.
Sacrificing the second Spiritual Weapon to cast Cure Moderate Wounds on Hasina. Letting the Spiritual Weapon do its final attack before the spell ends. The spell says it is a force weapon that does spell damage. SR does apply though, if it does actually hit! :)
Spirit Weapon attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12 Hmm....
Concentration to cast defensively: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Cure Moderate Wounds on Hasina: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (6, 2) + 4 = 12
Well, that's 0 for 4. And by the spell description I'd have to get another good roll for SR or it would just cause the spell to fail! Hope Hasina can get another slam!

Elliander Celandi |

When Biter eats into the dreadful beast, Elliander can sense it’s done for and turns around to the next foe. Having learnt that he can hurt that type of creature with his magic, he selects the second one of its kind while he still holds one more charge. He wants it dead too before they can concentrate on what appears to be the toughest opponent.
Round 3: Move action: Move diagonally to flank the yellow “Mastiff”. Tried to update map.
Round 4: Attack Yellow Mastiff. If it’s killed before his turn, Elliander will move up beside Hasina and attack the hovering Ajin instead.

Sefanit Batinayad |

West: in the previous round Sefanit was using Ill Omen on the Esobok (token with yellow border), not the Vanth. Is it too late to change the results?
Sefanit moves along to the other side of Francis to get a better view of the Esobok (yellow) surrounded by her friends. She gazes at the beast and curses him with misfortune.
10' move, Standard to use Misfortune Hex on Esobok (DC 16 Will save).

Emilia von Happledonk |

A small gasp escapes her as she sees Hasina barely escape a serious blow. "HEY! I'm annoying, quit being so stoic and actually ATTACK ME!" She draws her blade back and goes for a stab at the Ajin Ra Baqa while shifting a little.

Possible crit there Emilia I think! I'm planning to post to this adventure later today, and I'll roll the crit confirmation and extra damage if you don't see this in time to roll the dice yourself. Sorry Sefanit, I totally missed that. I'll retro that this round along with your curse and re-do damage to Hasina if needed.

Round 3 Retro - Sefanit steps away from the vanth and again summons her magic, this time to strike at the esobok – but this time her spell seems to hit a wall and she realizes that the vanth psychopomp is resistant to magic!
Sefanit again strikes with her witch magic at the same foe, trying to extend its misfortune – though she finds its mind is resistant to the hex! Emilia dances around her foe and strikes again with her blade, just missing its groin (DR -10 = 0 damage) and again her blade seems to do no appreciable harm to the winged creature. Hasina taunts Ajin, though this time it deflects the flail with the haft of its huge scythe. Francis’ spiritual weapon strikes one more time, missing again before winking out of existence. But he is able to focus on a spell that brings Hasina some much needed healing! Elliander moves and strikes a hard blow against the esebok, though again his weapon’s edge seems blunted by the creature’s skin (DR -2 = 9 damage)
The Esebok ignores Elliander and continues to aid its master, its jaws this time clamping down on Hasina’s forearm and it yanks hard! The red-haired warrior feels…something… wrenched from her body – but then she gasps as she feels her very soul snap back into her! (14 damage). Ajin Ra Baqa swings his scythe again as she is distracted and Hasina never sees it coming, as she is focused on her mortal soul (12 damage!) Like a true angel of death, the vanth swoops toward Frances, the scythe again slashing at the cleric, but his armor protects him from the sharp blade.
Sebti and Ptemenib both gasp as the Esobok wrenches at Hasina’s arm. “Nakht! Call it off!” The priestess cries out as she rushes forward instinctively. But the dark-skinned warrior only sneers. “She is living, her spirit will survive.” Then he calls out in a language that sounds like a mixture of trumpets and chimes:

Elliander Celandi |

Elliander hits his second opponent too as it seems occupied attacking his allies. The duskblade feels the last charge leave him through the sword. What he understands is their main fighter lies bleeding on the floor though. Hopefully she's only unconscious, but the duskblade does not want to risk it, nor does he know how much healing the others have left. He bends down to touch Hasina, activating a charge of his healing belt into her.
I believe we did round 3 twice or something? Elliander hit the red “Mastiff” 3 times and missed once. He has hit the yellow one once, so his 4 charges are spent, and he shall start round 6.
2-point charge of healing: Healing: 3d8 ⇒ (4, 3, 4) = 11 HP to Hasina

Hasina Haqikah |

I am assuming that Hasina is out of this round... sorry guys.

Francis Thrannel |

Seeing Hasina fall, and knowing the extent of his own combat strengths, Francis calls on his Deity for healing power. "Pharasma, Grant healing to my allies again." He steps forward toward the big creature accepting it's focus to try and give Hasina a chance.
Selective Channel excluding the monsters. Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5 Moving over Hasina trying to shield her body in case she recovers and can stand.

Emilia von Happledonk |

Emilia, recognizing that she really needs to pick up her pace, decides to stop just standing around. She takes off, darting around Ajin's back before trying to stab it again.

Sefanit seems confused and unsure of what to do next. Emilia sees an opening and darts around Ajin, stabbing at the creature – though because it is hovering above the party it is difficult to find a good distraction in order to utilize her sneaky battle skills and again her attack has no effect on the vanth psychopomp (Damage = 8 -10 [0]). Francis uses divine magic to heal all that are wounded – and Hasina’s eyes flicker open! Elliander uses the magic of his healing belt to close some of the worst of Hasina’s injuries and she seems stronger, though still wounded. The wounded esebok lunges at Elliander, its teeth slashing into his arm, though the duskblade is able to wrench himself out of the creature’s vice-like grip – sustaining only a minor injury (3 damage). Ajin continues to slash at Francis with its fearsome scythe, trying to bring down the meddlesome cleric and the vanth does a pretty good job of it (24 damage) – but even though he is badly bloodied Francis is still standing!

Party is up!! Sorry Emilia, Ajin is floating above the party and so getting a ‘flank’ against it isn’t possible unless someone is flying 10’ above the floor (directly opposite someone standing on the floor on the other side of Ajin.) Your attack hit, just no sneak attack damage and it wasn’t enough to overcome DR. Francis and Hasina are essentially occupying the same square and I’m not sure this really covered by the rules. Hasina, you can crawl out of that square as a move action so you can stand – though that draws an AoO in itself. I’ll allow that Francis provides cover, and if your ‘cover’ is hit, then Francis will take the damage instead of you if you wish to take advantage of that. You can also grab your weapon as a move action, so next round you can take both actions with no attack – or you can grab your weapon and attack from prone – though Francis will have to 5’ step and move out of your space. Also, per my original post regarding this combat I’m using it to see who is still with us. Sefanit hasn’t posted for almost a month now, though the holidays might well have intruded on her schedule.
Elliander 39/41 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear); 6 HP (of 10) absorbed by Armor Crystal]
Esebok (Yellow) - Wounded (19 damage)
Ajin Ra Baqa - Wounded (30 damage) [Flying 5' above the ground]
Sefanit - 35/36 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear); +4 to AC for 1 hour (Mage Armor wand)]
Emilia 34/34 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear)]
Hasina 13/42 [Prone – dropped weapon; Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear); Magic Weapon (+1 Flail), Bull’s Strength (+4 to STR); Shaken (-2 to attack rolls, saves, skill/ability checks)]
Francis 5/31 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear)]

Francis Thrannel |

Feeling that the only chance the party has against this creature, Francis continues edging toward it to get his body in a shielding position for Hasina. "The power of Pharasma will beat you foul creature. Pharasma, help us again in the battle so your failed servant can see the truth of his errors in summoning such monsters!"
Selective Channel again and shielding Hasina so she can get her weapon and get up. If I survive, great. If not, he's with his god....
Selective Channel excluding the enemy: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4 Hmm.... Well, it could be worse.

Hasina Haqikah |

Hasina grabs her weapon and moves from under Francis, getting in position to attack next round. Praying to whatever gods protect heroic clerics.

Elliander Celandi |

Elliander is glad to see that Hasina is not in the process of dying immediately but trying to get up. He turns his attention to the foe that is biting and raking at him again, swinging his sword and taking a step to the side to get a better angle.
Continue to attack the yellow “Mastiff”. Not sure where Hasina and Francis are going to be, but trying to take a 5’-step, possibly SE, to get a flanking position.
The Biter: Attack Roll: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 with Bless, with additional +2 if flanking bonus
Damage Roll: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Sefanit Batinayad |

If Sefanit has ever wavered in her in her belief in the wisdom of the Laws of Man, this stupid, pathetic display is all she needs to put those thoughts to rest. Yes, the Laws of Man have stymied her research on occasion due to bans on certain documents. Yes, her unusual (and unasked for) ability to use magic has made life in Rahadoum rather uncomfortable of late.
But if this is the sort of nonsense that happens within a church, especially when there is so little time to act against a clear danger, then how much worse must things be between churches as the compete for worshippers, attention, wealth, and power? This sad episode makes the almost inevitability of the Oath Wars in her own home's history very easy to understand.
Sefanit puts a little more space between herself and the dog-like psychopomp. Snatching a pearl from her pouch, she recalls one of her expended spells and again bathes the thing in flames from her outstretched hands.
Burning Hands: 4d4 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 4) = 14 DC 15 Reflex save for 1/2 damage.
5' back (to the right, already moved token on the map). Move to retrieve Pearl of Power, Standard to cast Burning Hands. Sefanit has the esobok at the extreme end of a 15' cone so the squares occupied by Eliander and Hasina/Francis will be excluded.

Emilia von Happledonk |

She lets out a loud groan as she watches the attack bounce off its hide yet again. This wasn't working, this wasn't working at all. "DAMMIT WHAT IN THE NINE HELLS ARE YOU MADE OF?! Should I use my club instead? Actually, that'd make a lot of sense. I'm gonna use my club."
With that, she drops her shortsword and pulls out her light mace to take another swing at Ajin.

Sefanit shifts her position to get room for a spell, drawing forth a ,magical pearl from her belt pouch and raising her other hand, a thick fan of flames washes over the dog-like psychopomp, though the creature is able to side-step the worst of the deadly fire (7 damage)! Emilia shouts in frustration at the hovering vanth, dropping her useless blade and readying a mace, which she swings and misses with – prompting even more angry exasperation in the halfling. Hasina willingly uses the hovering Francis as cover while she rolls away from the Ajin, snatching up her flail as the monster swings its scythe at her, but fortunately the vanth seems a bit off-balance by the scurrying enemies surrounding it, and the weapon misses by several inches. Francis calls upon Pharasma to heal himself and his allies even as Elliander strikes again with his blade – and he manages to catch the esobok partly distracted by Francis, enough for his blow to connect and the creature falls as its head is separated from its bull-like shoulders! Ajin seems slightly taken aback, as though trying to determine which of the foes he faces is the most dangerous. Gliding effortlessly through the still air of the huge chamber, it again slashes at Hasina, knowing that the adamantine flail she grips in her hands is a deadly instrument. The monstrous curved blade slices once, then again (13 damage) and though the red-haired warrior is still standing her stance is unsteady and the healing she has received has been undone in an instant!
Esobok’s Reflex Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 vs DC 15 = Success!

Ajin’s Scythe Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15 vs Hasina’s AC = Miss!
Party is up!! Elliander, well done with that move to get flanking as the +2 bonus you got allowed that poor d20 roll to just barely connect! Now if you can take down the big baddie…

Hasina Haqikah |

Hasina is going for everything now.. all that she has. using furious focus/ power attack and cleave.. she screams her battle cry as she puts her last bit of strength into the blow.
attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 1 - 2 + 2 = 16
damage: 1d10 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25
"I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU..DIE!!!"

Elliander Celandi |

Elliander just barely reaches the last wardog, but Biter is eager and enjoying itself. When Nakht’s second pet goes down, Elliander moves forward to help Hasina.
Move to behind Hasina (somewhere out of the Ajin's reach). If the Ajin is not defeated by then, activate the last charge of the Healing Belt into Hasina, otherwise wait and save the last charge.
1 charge: Healing: 2d8 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10

Francis Thrannel |

Seeing the creature slashing Hasina again just keeps Francis furious. He steps right up to it yelling, "The Lady of Graves has no place for monsters like you. This crisis can only be resolved by people. Let Pharasma show her blessings on us, crusaders in her name!"
Selective Channel again....: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5

Sefanit Batinayad |

With only the vanth psychopomp remaining, Sefanit knows she has few options available to her.
She stares balefully at it trying to foul its action with bad luck. She then takes a wand in hand. She might at least be able to help Francis keep others in the fight.
Misfortune Hex on the vanth psychopomp, DC 16. Draw wand of Cure Light Wounds.

Sefanit attempts to hex the powerful undead, and though it very nearly takes hold the psychopomp is able to overcome the witch’s magic even as she retrieves her curative wand. Emilia continues to grumble as she swings again with the mace, but this time the creature evades her blow entirely. Hasina cries out in pain and frustration, but the vanth catches the flail with his scythe blade and deflects the blow. Francis steps away from the floating spectre and murmurs a spell then touches the red-haired warrior, infusing her with healing energy - though Hasina is still bleeding very badly. Elliander moves up behind Hasina and uses the magic of his healing belt to give her an added boost. Relentlessly, Ajin continues to swing his weapon at Hasina, though its dark eyes are also fixed upon Francis and the cleric fears he is next as the brave woman falls, bleeding to death at the vanth floats within reach of him…

Party is up!! Francis, according to my notes on your character sheet you used your last channel last round. Let me know if I’m wrong, but I instead had you 5’ step and cast CLW on Hasina by burning your last 1st level spell – which seemed to fit what you were trying to do this round I figured.
Elliander 41/41 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear); 6 HP (of 10) absorbed by Armor Crystal]
Ajin Ra Baqa - Wounded (30 damage) [Flying 5' above the ground]

Sefanit Batinayad |

Sefanit uses her wand to stabilize Hasina.
CLW: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Well that's it for Sefanit. She has three spells remaining to cast. The chance any of them would get through both SR and the Will save are sightly better than nil. If they did they would have no impact on combat. I'm not sure there's any point in wasting any more wand charges either. We will lose this fight because we're meant to.

Hasina Haqikah |

As Hasina falls, she hands the flail to Elliander.
And remember that Hasina has the diehard feat, when she hits zero, she automatically stabilizes.

Elliander Celandi |

Elliander is beginning to realize that the remaining enemy is much more difficult to deal with and that the only effective weapon against it might be Hasina’s dark-metal flail. The monster seems to repeatedly single her out for its attacks. If she goes down, he may have to pick up that flail instead of his sword. In the intense battle he only has a fraction of a second to wonder about Biter’s jealousy.
If Hasina is still fighting with her flail, move 5’-step NE, behind her and
Cast Ray of Enfeeblement
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23 Ranged Touch Attack
Damage Roll: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 STR damage
SR: Caster level check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
If Hasina does manage to hand over/let go of her weapon and Elliander can get it and still attack from his original position, then do so (preferably sheathing Biter, but if not allowed, drop the sword. Drop/unready shield if necessary to wield 2-handed heavy flail.
If he gets the flail, but somehow cannot attack until next turn(and Hasina is not in shape to get her flail back), then this attack applies then instead:
Adamantium Heavy flail Attack Roll: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 Melee Attack
Damage Roll: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 / 19-20/×2
Additional bonus to attack/damage if it’s magical.
Is there any extra STR-bonus to swing it 2-handed?

GM West |

Hasina, I apologize that I completely overlooked your Diehard feat! You can still attack this round, since you are effectively 'Disabled' per the condition, which allows you to take one standard action at the cost of taking 1 hp of damage. Let me know if you want to hold onto that flail and get in another attack! Or you can choose to fall unconscious and automatically stabilize - it's your choice!
Sefanit, trust me when I say I'm not a fan of putting PCs in a combat they cannot win. I don't even think I'd do that if the adventure path called for it. Granted, this is meant to be a tough fight though and it's proved to be that!

Hasina Haqikah |

Hasina is going to stand by the previous post.. pass the weapon.. and then go unconscious.

As Hasina falls, she hands the weapon to Elliander, who takes it and drops his own blade – hoping that Biter doesn’t get jealous or anything. Sefanit uses the healing wand to bring the red-haired warrior back to consciousness as Emilia stabs again with her mace, shouting at Ajin to just hold still for a bloody moment! The angry yell seems to freeze the creature for a second, and the blunt-headed weapon smashes into its leg – though it doesn’t seem to do any damage! With his healing spells and powers now gone, Francis can only watch helplessly as Ajin turns to face Elliander, who is fumbling to get a grip on the heavy flail, moves behind the slumped body of Hasina to get some distance from his target and casts a spell that envelops the psychompmp in a sickly greenish-black ray, causing it to shudder convulsively as he prepares to drop his shield as well in order to get a good hold of the flail. Ajin swings the heavy flail at Elliander, and though his great strength seems to have faded a bit, he still connects with two solid blows – the duskblade’s magical armor crystal absorbing some of the violence.
Ajin’s Fort Save: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22 vs DC 14 = Success! [4 STR damage taken]
Ajin’s Scythe Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30 vs Elliander’s AC = Hit!
Scythe Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 1) + 4 = 9
Ajin’s Scythe Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25 vs Elliander’s AC = Hit!
Scythe Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 3) + 4 = 9
Party is up!! This was a weird round, especially for pbp style gaming. I’m going to rule that Hasina handed off her flail to Elliander with a move action, who took it with his own move action (dropping his sword as a free action). However, he’ll need to drop his shield as well as get a good grip on the two-handed flail, which I ruled couldn’t happen this round anyway since he’s got too much going on switching weapons, dropping sword and shield, etc. I allowed him to cast the spell with his standard action this past round and with his next action his move action can be to drop his shield, get a two-handed grip on the heavy flail and then he can make an attack roll with the weapon (you don’t have to use the ‘extra’ roll you made in your last post, go ahead and make a new roll). Meanwhile Sefanit used the CLW wand on Hasina when she fell, and so Hasina is now prone but at 4 HP – and no longer holding her flail, which is now firmly in Elliander’s hands. Elliander, don’t forget that the flail is a +1 weapon right now, due to the Magic Weapon spell buff.
Elliander 25/41 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear); 8 HP (of 10) absorbed by Armor Crystal]; Magic Weapon (+1 Flail)
Ajin Ra Baqa - Wounded (30 damage) [Flying 5' above the ground]
Sefanit - 36/36 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear); +4 to AC for 1 hour (Mage Armor wand)]
Emilia 34/34 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear)]
Hasina 4/42 [Prone; Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear); Bull’s Strength (+4 to STR); Shaken (-2 to attack rolls, saves, skill/ability checks)]
Francis 9/31 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear)]

Elliander Celandi |

Elliander fumbles a bit until he has his shield detached from his left arm and gliding down to his hip. Now facing the monster’s full attention instead, he gets some cuts in the process. The duskblade grabs the large flail with both hands and swings it at his foe.
Adamantium Heavy flail+1
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 Melee Attack
Damage Roll: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 hp / critical 19-20/×2

Elliander Celandi |

OOC:Can Elliander determine if the Ajin's scythe is adamantium too or not? He is himself holding a weapon of such material, so it would be relatively easy to compare(?)

Francis Thrannel |

Knowing that his dagger is pretty useless against the fiend doesn't stop Francis from trying. He moves around to flank the creature and digs in his belt pouch for a flask. Once he has one in hand he steps back and throws the thing at the monster.
Throwing a flask of alchemist's fire at Ajin. Not really expecting to do anything but possibly distract it....

Sefanit Batinayad |

Sefanit tosses the healing wand to Emilia. She then moves over to place a hand and Elliander and heal him, not really caring if the vanth can strike at her.
CLW: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Emilia von Happledonk |

Emilia catches the wand and blinks a bit, before shrugging and hurrying over to Elliander, darting around above the Vanth to get to him. She just pokes him with the wand while saying the magic words. "Please work?"
CLW Wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Elliander slashes at the creature, but he is somewhat unfamiliar with the weight of the weapon and he fails to connect. Francis throws a flask of alchemist’s fire and is gratified to see it smash squarely in the psychopomp’s chest, its feathers briefly catching fire (11 damage) – though Elliander and Hasina are slightly burned by the resulting splash (1 damage). Elliander is bolstered with healing by the wand now wielded by the halfling and by Sefanit’s magic and his spirit is bolstered when he narrowly avoids the deadly scythe! Hasina lies prone, perhaps waiting for the right time to attack or to weary and exhausted by the fight to rise again…
Francis’ Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 = Hit!
Alchemist’s Fire Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11
Ajin’s Scythe Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19 vs Elliander’s AC = Miss!
Ajin’s Scythe Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 vs Elliander’s AC = Miss!
Party is up!! I had Ajin take the extra fire damage right now, since he will have no intention to put out the flames with a full round action. Elliander, it looks like the scythe is probably crafted of the same material as the flail – adamantium.
Elliander 38/41 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear); 8 HP (of 10) absorbed by Armor Crystal]; Magic Weapon (+1 Flail)
Ajin Ra Baqa - Wounded (41 damage) [Flying 5' above the ground]

Emilia 34/34 [Blessed (+1 to attack rolls, saves vs fear)]

Hasina Haqikah |

Hasina is going to get out her mace and attack from the prone position.. but she is going for the legs and try to get it off balance.
attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 - 2 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 1 - 2 + 2 - 4 = 10

Hasina Haqikah |

I didn't roll damage as I didn't really believe that I would hit.. seems like I was correct.. but maybe it will be enough to distract it.
