He has a big hole in his chest, Kyson.

You think he's a zombie, though usually they can't talk. More coming at some point; heading back to Superstar focus for a bit, combined with a lot of wedding crap. My guess is it may be until Friday before I post, but that's just a guess.

"I was killed by the master of Fogmire," the former man intones at Kyson's question, "something I'm sure you shall experience soon."

The colonists moan in fear as the creature's pronouncement, looking around them with concern.

"He set me here as a warning."

Kyson looks at the monster with pity, then turns away from Sekathral to look at the undead man hanging.

"Do...do...you want us to put you out of your misery? I can get you to Pharasma's boneyard. If you'd like to speak for redemption, I'll carry your words to Sarenrae if you'd like," Kyson asks tentatively. Kyson has never given last rites before and, according to most accounts he's read, usually the subject is dead-dead when they are given.

Initially paying more attention to the "welcome" part of the undead creatures greeting and less about the implications of "forever" Silvio had remained quite relaxed until the conversation turned into a more unsubtle exchange. He draws his sword with an impressive gesture.

"Now that Silvio has arrived it is time to end the reign of this master of Fogmire. Silvio insists that you bring forth your killer!"

Khazmia: 14
Antagonists: 13

Time seems to stretch out, mere seconds feeling like days, as you react to the monsters invading your camp. Sekathral falls in slow motion, blood spattering across the diseased-looking leaves on the foggy forest's floor.

Silvio swipes at his foe's legs, but it easily hops over his blade, laughing and exposing dark-stained teeth. Across the ruins, Zstelian's blade catch nothing but air, the creature easily dodging and weaving around his blows. It does leave the creature open for Kayle's attacks, but the wounds caused by the one claw that draws blood seem to close up in mere seconds.

Kyson prays for Sarenrae's aid, her healing closing up Sekathral's wounds before the elf can bleed out.

Desperate to save her companion, Khazmia casts, the ground opening up beneath the demon clutching Urol. Before it falls, though, it suddenly disappears, the gnome going with it, his scream echoing through the ruins.

In the seeming space between heartbeats, the two others disappear as well, but not before one laughs at you. "We'll let you live for now, but we'll be back once this one has stopped being amusing."

The colonists scream in fear at his words, but he's no longer in the camp to hear them.

"Khaz? Seka!? Are you okay?!" Kyson runs over to Seka, checking his wounds.

Zstelian stands at the ready, expecting the monsters to return any moment. When they don’t, the reality of the situation and the danger hits the old ranger full force.

”We have to move. Now. We can’t stay here”, he explains as he slips his daggers back into his belt. ”Kyson, get Seka back on his feet if you can.”

Khazmia answers Kyson, silently cursing the tremor in her voice, " I... I think I am. " She eyes her useless pit balefully, as if it had swallowed Urol instead of the demonthings taking him.

She turns to argue with the ranger, but stops herself. Urol won't come back out of that pit, no matter ho long we wait.

"Zstelian is right; we need to go."

As Kyson tends to Sekathral, Urol's raven companion, Miss Crazzle, looks around, flying through the air. She soon alights on Silvio and begins pecking at him and cawing loudly.

"Where are we going to go?" Amella asks, her eyes wide. "That blasted gnome was the only one who knew anything about this place or the right way to plot our course!"

When you are ready to move on, if that's what you decide to do, let me know which direction you go.

He shared a general course with us. Can Zstelian navigate accordingly?

You can certainly try; it'll require some Survival checks...
