Plus, um...vampire. Kinda banking on the supernatural influence to alter circumstances a little. Needless to say, any normal person still wouldn't have remembered.
You know what? This is what is going on. I would have had this up sooner, but I'm not the fastest at typing. Besides, it worked out for me - you posted that golden moment as I was typing.
After Locke leaves the room, he counts to three, and pokes his head back in. Seems it worked. He's off the radar again. He watches Eliza, hopefully. Come on Fangs, don't let me down.
"Can you believe that a!!%%~!?"
Oh. Oh yes. OH F#+& YES, FINALLY! F&!~ING FINALLY! HE DID IT! SOMEONE REMEMBERS! IT'S POSSIBLE! YEEEEEES! Oh F@*~, that feels good. And it's HER as well! She doesn't pay attention to ANYONE! BONUS POINTS! DING DING DING! All the sounds of victory Locke's ever known play in his head at the revelation. He's beyond happy at this moment, and for once, the smile he wears actually reaches his eyes.
Note to self: Vampires can potentially remember me. Or at least, this one. Gotta find more paranormals here. Let's see...Carrie next? Or maybe Sam. They've both got something going on, I've just been too focused on Ice Queen to find out what. Not any more! Beaming ear to ear, he starts dancing (very, very badly) in the hall, revelling as the world remains blind to him.
As he dances, the door opens next to him, and he stops abruptly. Wait, Fangs? Is she...man, it really did work. Invisibly he hangs about, seeing what's going on. Matthew approaches, and conversation starts. Seems he's in on it. Doesn't remember Locke though - as expected. Wait, he's a witch? Oh man, this is good. Matt is very hastily added to the potential candidate list.
And then, the moment. Eliza starts trying to work her magic on Matt. Locke doesn't waste time grabbing his phone and taking a picture of the moment. Perfect.
Yeah, tell me if this is out of line, but I figure there's some strings to be had here. I love Blackmailer.
Matthew Emmanuel |
Whomever Locke is I didn't see him, odd that you say he was there in class. If he threatens you again let me know, Matthew smiles at Eliza's honeyed words, "Well you asked politely and I don't see the harm in it. Just a little.for science I guess."
He offers his neck to her, "Let's be quick. Don't need anyone else knowing, killing people isn't something I like doing, nor is it something I.want to become regular."
Locke Farrell |
Locke is starting to wonder if he'll ever be able to stop grinning at this rate. The knowledge that he's a witch AND a killer, and a moment to get a picture of her feeding! This is too good. He gets ready with the phone cam again for the next shot. "Alright! Work it baby, work it!"
It's fun being able to say and do what you like and have nobody notice.
Eliza Cunningham |
Not in the hallway, silly! I pull him out of the way into an alcove and drive my fangs into his neck, taking a bit of his sweet blood. It feels ecstatic. You never want it to end, just a rush into darkness. As quickly as it begins, it ends. Eliza licks the wound closed, dabs the blood from her lips with her handkerchief and smiles.
Delicious
She leads him back to the hallway. So, what do you need?
I choose +1 forward and he doesn't die
Eliza Cunningham |
I've got plans tonight, but I can meet tomorrow. I'll trade you blood samples.
The rush of blood has made Eliza forget why she left in the first place. She returns to class slightly before Matthew does
Locke Farrell |
Locke gives Eliza a pat on the back as she goes in. Just as a reminder...and because it would be fun if she reacted to someone who "wasn't there" again, right in front of everyone.
Needless to say, he backs off immediately after delivering said pat. Better not to be in reach.
Eliza Cunningham |
hold steady with my one forward: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 6) + 3 = 11
Eliza feels the pat but doesn't react, as her brain tells her nothing is there.
dropping "in her own world"
Locke Farrell |
She didn't react in the slightest. She didn't react. "Alright b$*@%, you want me to try harder, I'll try harder." With that, he stomps her knee and pushes her in, making it look for all intents and purposes like she just fell. Since really, what else could have happened? She's perfectly healthy.
Grand Guignol: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 2) + 2 = 9
Sod it, I'm spending a string to bump that to a 10. That incident outside should have at least given me at least one...unless Eliza would be happy for everyone to know about what just happened out there.
Not wasting any time, he stomps across her and grinds his foot into her head, just for good measure. He backs off out of the room after one last stamp on her back. HARD.
Now, here's the fun part. Grand Guignol affects everyone who sees it happen, as well as the poor sucker that has to deal with it. They're treated as being Shut Down - with a 10+ roll, in this case. And I'm picking conditions. Eliza gets to be a Laughing Stock. Gotta love a good pratfall from the aloof girl. Everyone else gets Derisive. I'm satisfied with that.
Of course, if I don't get to apply the condition to the crowd, that's fine too. I can understand why. The crux of this is drawing Eliza's attention - drawing some jeering, or otherwise harshness from everyone in the room is a bonus.
Eliza Cunningham |
Eliza falls hard. It hurts, she's embarrassed. She holds back from crying out, but she's still embarrassed. She hoists herself up and sits down at her desk, all eyes on her.
She takes out a piece of notebook paper and writes You wanted my attention? You got it. Ghost? Y/N
Locke Farrell |
He answers in order.
F&$& if I know.
As above, happens to everyone unless I make a special effort, and you've just learned it doesn't work long. Impossible to notice in general. I'm betting you don't even see these answers till they're done - it's pretty far reaching.
Hey, I only did it once. I thought you forgot...and you're the only person ever to remember me after I go poof again. Even if you don't like it, I hope you at least understand it.
Bonus: Why you in the first place? Cos you're a vamp, and I hoped that'd make a difference. Seems I was right. That, or it's something else and I got lucky. I'm just glad I didn't have to go further...I'll let you imagine how far my failed attempts have gone so far.
Anything else?
Eliza Cunningham |
I'll help you if you help me. Trip the next three people who walk through that door. Clear up my humiliation and I'll figure out how to get you noticed.
Locke Farrell |
Deal, though I think I'll have to make these extra special. Sorry about that, by the way.
The first person "trips" in the same way. Only this time, after they walk through the door, and into a table, covering them in whatever was on it as it upends itself on them. They're mostly alright, of course. The next has the grand misfortune of slipping backwards. And then failing to get up. Four times. Anyone tries to help before Locke's done, they get "pulled in on top of them". And the last person to fall has the great misfortune of managing to "snag" their clothes on something, falling over as they try to loose themselves, with a great accompanying RIIIIIP.
Needless to say, Eliza's little fall was not the most dramatic anymore.
Grand Guignol: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 6) + 2 = 14
Oh man, these dice. That's perfect. The victims get to be Utterly Humiliated. The crowd is Vicious. And Eliza just loses her string on me.
His work done, he walks back over. That work well enough for your needs?
Carriekazi |
She'll step forward as Will steps back. "Okay, I'll take you to the nurse." She turns back to Will, "Take my base for me." And while both guys can see her she rolls her eyes and mouths, {You owe me one.}
Eliza Cunningham |
How many strings on Eliza is watching her little stint outside with Matt worth?
I think we're about ready to end the scene. Kinda ran away with this one.
From the move, it looks like it's only ever one string
Eliza Cunningham |
Eliza takes a shot that maybe Matthew's witchcraft will help him remember Locke more easily too.
She points down at the paper and writes
Matt, this is Locke. He's apparently invisible and everyone who sees him forgets him. He's going to respond now, and then I want to see if you remember the conversation you're having with him.
Eliza Cunningham |
She nods, then flips the paper over.
Hey Matthew, some friends are going out tonight to the club? Want to come, oh by the way, do you remember reading this a second ago?
She flips the paper back over and lets him read it again.

Eliza scrawls onto the paper
Sorry Locke. Looks like I'm the special kind of special...unless you just need piss him off enough that you stick in his mind.
Locke Farrell |
Not surprised. I'll have to test things later. He may not be a vamp, but he's still a witch, and one obsessed with his studies - I'm sure there's something. If we can't get him through his head or his senses, we might be able to get him with his records. I think there's something up with Sam and Carrie too.
Welcome to my life, Eliza. It's ridiculous...could be worse, though. Regrettable measures aside, I'm glad to make the acquaintance of a lovely girl like you.
A sketch of Eliza appears below, walking about with the umbrella she uses to keep the sun off her. It's only rough, but it feels alive. The lines flow and glide across the paper, and it's easy to get lost in the linework. It shows an understanding of the subject most people just wouldn't have.
I should hope that's enough for this:
Turn Someone On: 2d6 - 1 ⇒ (4, 4) - 1 = 7
Eliza Cunningham |
I promise him something I think he'll want
Eliza scrawls next to the picture. Awww, that's sweet! I'll do what it takes to get you visible again. You can count on me!

Mr. Pryce is clearly trying not to look back at you, but he seems unable to stop himself. Eliza is taking quite a while, and in the meantime, you hear Sylvia, the head cheerleader (Lead cheerleader? I don't know the terminology), talking (somewhat loudly) about "Sluts who hit on the teacher to keep their grades up". what do you do?
Eliza
I think you've alleviated "laughing stock".
Locke
Can I get a Lash out roll for the beatdown of Eliza, that was bad enough to trigger it
also, seriously, slow down. I am getting lost in this, and I miss stuff I should be responding to
matthew
Was there anything you needed me to respond to, or arbitrate?
Gym people
haven't forgotten you, just waiting on sam
Locke Farrell |
That incident with Eliza was Grand Guignol, which I already rolled for. Unless it's both moves somehow. It's how she became a laughing stock in the first place. The point isn't damage here, otherwise that would have been even worse.
If I still need it: LOP: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 4) + 2 = 9
Also, sorry! Enthusiasm and a lot of time on the forums will do that. I'll try for more concentrated posts where I can, at least.
Aldrea Fangor |
She grins as she saunters over to Sylvia, she leans in close, real close, noses almost touching. This girl was probably in with the Jocks, well, thats what she is calling them. 'Let's see how well she holds up
"Jealous? Want me to give you attention like that, Princess?"
Turn On: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 6) + 2 = 12
Aldrea Fangor |
Yes, if you can't hump it or eat it, walk away. She is a succubus after all ;)
Aldrea Fangor |
On to the part where Eliza comes in
She looks up as the girl stumbles, a strange conversation and lot's of scribbling, and suddenly a whole pile up on the floor of students
"What ever you are doing, stop it" she looks at the group on the ground "You are disrupting the class, and Mr. Pryce wants to give a lesson!"
Aldrea Fangor |
Yes, she is talking to the group on the ground
