She sighs
"Just what I need. Fine. Tell her I want to talk to her during break. We'll talk at our usual place. You, Alice and Al take your usual places to... deter any interruptions"
She heads back to her class. If this works out. It will be beneficial. If not. Oh well. She tried. But she was sure this will work.

"I'll be right back, Miss Wilkinson. Gotta take a leak." Sam slips out of the office and goes down the hallway until he's next to the Dean's private office wall. "Adallosit, accept my payment and strengthen your Emissary," he whispers, just before going transparent and slipping through the wall into the Dean's closet. Now, who are you?

Using Elsewise Power twice to get Dissipate and Creep. I get a String on Amber and Dean Bishop. Adallosit gets two Strings on me.

Eliza gives a furtive glance at her phone, but does not respond. Now to get Carrie off of Louis's back without making it seem like she's defending Louis. No easy task.

Shut down: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 4) + 2 = 7 (I get two 7 moves due to my vampire move, so I'm going to apply two different conditions to each of us.)

If you're going to snap at the teacher, at least get your facts right. Napoleon was French, not Russian.

The half of the class that's read Animal Farm thinks that Eliza is a Ditz and Carrie is a Nerd (for using a lit reference as a put down). The other half thinks that Carrie is Ignorant of basic facts but Eliza is a Know-it-all for fact checking an insult.

Eliza hasn't read Animal Farm, incidentally. If Orwell was half the bore in his books that he was at cocktail parties reading it might have put her in a coma.

Eliza, Carrie gets to pick what condition(s) you get.

I misread the move, thanks for the note! I'll give Carrie Nerd and Ignorant for my reasons above and let her dole out conditions to me.

you peek out of the closet, you learn a few thing. one, Dean Bishop is screwing Amber. Two, Amber looks much nicer naked than expected. And three, Dean Bishop's closet door s kinda creaky. Dean bishop is fairly engrossed in the activity, but Amber's head snaps up, what do you do?

Aldrea walks back into class, her mind already formulating a plan to deal with the current situation.
She goes to take her seat, also making sure if there are things missing, eyeing Monika a bit. Making sure that she doesnt get any ideas

"Aww... somebody's got a crush." She says as she sits down, and pays attention to the teacher.

Eliza rolls her eyes, just enough for Carrie to notice and turns to be attentive to the teacher as well.

Still...it would NOT do to have people think she was linked with Louis. She was hoping her shut down would be linked to her slip of the tongue, NOT her defense of Louis. That slag is more observant than she'd hoped. She'll have to find a way to control her AND separate herself from Louis as quickly as possible.

She daintily raises her hand and then whines Ugh. Ms. Isle. Louis' face is making me nauseated. Can you please send him to the nurse so he stops bleeding everywhere? I mean, you weren't just looking to bust Sam, right? Louis' well-being is important to you isn't it? Can't just have a student bleeding everywhere and grossing us all out.

Giving a bit more of himself to his Patron, Sam fades back through the wall and pokes his head back in the office. "Hey, Mrs. Wilkinson, can I just put my name down for detention and get back to class? Dean Bishop sounds kinda busy and all."

I'm not sure that qualifies, shouting at her about it, or even just calling her out quietly. but just glaring doesn't trigger in this instance. there is nothing conspicuously missing, what do you do?

I'm not sure that requires a manipulate roll. Maybe try greek instead of latin invocations during the sacrifice?

I click my tongue. Uh, no thanks Ms. Isle. I want to stop looking at his face, not spend more time with it. I'm pretty sure he knows how to find the nurse on his own. He spent enough time there last year. I'm here to study or whatever.

He blushes, but smiles.

"Yeah, I think I'd like that."

I just realized the inner torment that comes with having a character who's schtick is being betrayed. Oh god, I am in for an emotional rollercoaster.

Sam saunters back into the classroom and slides behind his desk. "Hey Carrie, we should tag some lockers later. It'd be nice to have some company in detention, you know?"

You hit on Carrie again, perhaps a bad idea. Kai hears you, and glares, before pulling out his phone, and shooting off a text. Gain the condition Dead Meat. And this seems like a pretty good place to end the scene for you as well

No worries, she is a busy body, and she did miss most of what happened while she is sorting out things. Tough trying to rule a school. But i do have lots of plans =^^=

No manipulate for that, clubs aren't louis's thing anyway. Lets advance time a little, shall we.

It is 3rd period, history. Mr. Pryce has already gone through the syllabus, and introduced the topic of the french revolution, when he announces that there will be a two-person group project for the next week, what do you do?

Not sure that's quite enough. a few raised voices, some punches thrown. I think you need something slightly more. I will frame you a scene soon, what class do you have 3rd period, english, or gym?

It's adorable you think I have mercy, no, that scene was getting settled, so we're moving on. also, 3rd period, do you have english or gym?

Eliza does exceedingly well on group projects (she's been through high school 20 or 30 times), but she definitely does NOT seek anyone out to join her. If partners are not assigned, she sits absentmindedly reading a book and waiting for someone to approach her. Someone always does.

She'll never say it, but she kind of hopes Aldrea will partner with her. For the same reason that her aloofness attracts so many people, the fact that Aldrea has shown zero interest in becoming her friend is refreshing and attractive to Eliza. She's not immune to the rules of social interaction.

Gym. Hope my rolls go better now. I can't miss every roll, can I? <knock on wood>

Don't forget starting a blood feud (perhaps literally) and a death threat! ;)

The camera moves in and you see a stream of blood coming in from off camera and going down the drain. Dice of Decision: 1d2 ⇒ 1
History it is, then.

Locke stands at the back, utterly ignored by everyone around him. He's wearing an open zip-up hoodie, a t-shirt, and some comfortable trousers. He's long past stopped caring about what he looks like after being ignored so much, dressing for his own comfort. He looks around the room for anything interesting happening as everyone walks around him. Seems like Eliza is doing her usual routine again.

He puts his hands in his pockets, and slouches over to behind Eliza to see what she's reading. All Eliza notices is that people are giving the area behind her a wide berth all of a sudden.

Eliza closes her book (Pride and Prejudice, because it reminds her of her childhood) and turns to Aldrea. It's a delicate balance. Too enthusiastic and she spoils her aloof image. Too cold and she'll make Aldrea change her mind. She decides to settle on somewhere right down the middle.

Sure, partners. She gives just a hint of a smile. Any idea on our subject? I've always been fond of Marie Antionette, but I'm open to suggestions.

"I only have this class because I am forced by my father. He's a history buff. So sure. Lets go with that" she returns the smile. But with more... enthusiasm

If your father is a history buff, he might have some better books than what we can get at the school library. Can we meet at your house after school?

Eliza definitely does NOT want to bring Aldrea home to meet Uncle Percy or Harris (who does not go to school. He doesn't understand why Eliza keeps up the act of being in high school for more than a hundred years).

"Yo, Will!" Sam comes up and claps him on the back. "Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hey back in homeroom, had to deal with some trash. You seen Kai around anywhere?"

So, was that friendly enough for your Futile Hope? Also, wow. Furies are dark, even for this game.

Really, Fangs? You're pretty transparent. Not like you'd need the books anyway, is it? Who do you think you're fooling? That desperate to hold onto your private life? Locke shakes his head. This wouldn't do. Time to mess with things.

Locke strolls off, grabs a pen and paper, and starts scribbling some notes. The first states "Nice fangs, darling." That one is folded and inserted into Eliza's copy of Pride and Prejudice. The other says "Come on. Why let her in your life if she won't share hers?" That one's just hidden on Aldrea's person. Somewhere she'd notice. Finally, he picks up Eliza's book, chooses a random page...

Reappearing Act: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 5) + 1 = 12

And suddenly, he's there, flipping through her copy of Pride and Prejudice. Eliza wouldn't have even noticed it was gone till he turned up with it. "It's a great book, but it doesn't mean you have an excuse to relax, you know." He puts the book back down. The note's sticking out just enough to catch Eliza's eye. He didn't have to make the effort to show up, it was just more fun this way. They always forgot him anyway. If he's going to be forced from memory and notice, he may as well make the best of it. "She's got a point, anyway. How big's the collection?"

Boo.

So, explain a little about how this works, Locke. You appear out of nowhere...do we recognize you when you show up, or is it the first time every time? Is it startling when you show up, or when you make the presence to appear are we like, "oh man, I know that guy"

The way I've been thinking about this is, up until now, the few times he's managed to appear nobody knows who the hell he is, even if they've known each other a long time before his...incident. Even if they met several times AFTER the incident, they never recognise him. Not in the slightest. This is almost certainly your first meeting, as far as you know. As for whether you remember him after he vanishes again...well, there's a first time for everything. I can't exactly dictate anything to you that's not part of a move, so it's your call if you remember about him after this. Whether it's when you see him, or all the time, etc - all you.

I will say yes, it's sudden, it's probably startling because "What the hell just happened" reasons, after all a guy just appeared out of nowhere and that isn't normal, but it feels like he's been there all along. Should you remember, it'd probably get less surprising as it happens more.

Eliza is startled, and her first response is to move the book close to her. She isn't easy to sneak up on.

I'm sorry. I didn't see you there. She looks him over. She knows most of the kids in the school, even if she has mostly ignored them. I don't believe we've met. She says this as though she's not exactly inviting him to get to know her further.
