I added a regional map (finally) to the campaign tab. This shows the progress of the groups and is a nicer version of the map that Head Marshal Hawke has given the groups, although the one you have it still quite detailed. Feel free to ask any questions.
Sorry, it's been busy life. Just got finished up a long interview process for a job, plus senior project and general class schedules.
But I was also confused about the room, I didn't realize there was a door out.
It would probably be helpful if everyone posted at least every other day, even if just in this thread, that they are here, aware, and waiting on someone else.
I know that it has happened where I was waiting for others, not realizing they were waiting for me.
Once a day I can reverse how I handle negative/positive energy. Does the shadow's strength attack count as negative energy? And would reversing this also reverse the strength damage?
"Light and Dark (Su): Once per day as an immediate action, a wayang can treat positive and negative energy effects as if she were an undead creature, taking damage from positive energy and healing damage from negative energy. This ability lasts for 1 minute once activated."
If it only affected two spells, you'd think it said something like that.
The shadow ability states:
"A shadow's touch deals 1d6 points of Strength damage to a living creature. This is a negative energy effect. A creature dies if this Strength damage equals or exceeds its actual Strength score."
There are other rarer sources, but mostly channeling and inflict would be the main ones encountered most. I will have to look into it some regarding the shadows attack and your ability. Seems like it may work. I wouldn't work retroactively, I think its intended for you to kick it off as an immediate counter prior to being hit with those effects.
Understood, i think with the holidays things will be somewhat crazy for the next few weeks. I will be here for most days. Weekends are still a bit rough, we seem to continue to have social engagements or other things that require work or travel.
I am likely to bring a new player over here from table 3 as it is down to about 2-3 players and has the play has slowed down. Message me any opinions or thoughts. This will happen pretty quickly and will add some extra oomph to your group.
No, please continue as you have been. I will bring the new member in when ready.
Right now it seems as though your group is in cautious explore mode, just getting the lay of the dungeon and trying to find out what happened to the other skeletons.

Hello everybody! I'm the new addition to this table and I'm excited to get started!
Goivan is the epitome of a frontliner, every single one of his three classes focusing on putting himself toe-to-toe with the enemy. Raging/smiting/sneak attack style fighting.
His character is a "righteous fury" kind of guy.
If you're interested in knowing more, feel free to ask or peruse through my alias.
Welcome Goivan to the action, as he has already arrived, just roll up some initiative, and I will drop you onto the map and into the action. It may take you a round to get your bearings or so, but you can move, shout a 'don't kill me' warning and/or try to explain exactly how the heck you arrived.
okay, so Goivan placed himself where we either have to move through him and potentially take OoA's from #2, or stand behind him and wait for him to either defeat all of them or be defeated by them.

Finals week. Please DMPC as necessary. I will return on Wednesday night, thoroughly stressed and exhausted and probably eating a whole pizza by myself.
I mean yeah, the ideal was possible, but I don't think anyone wants to spend 8+ turns killing skeletons one by one safely. We've already been in the dungeon long enough. I can't really do anything, Grub hasn't been able to do anything the entire dungeon.

I'm sorry if I was the cause of this everybody. I did not intend to force everybody into taking a backseat, I basically just saw enemies and thought "Time to get to the front line".
Oh no no no, it's not. Just a bad situation where the best solutions aren't all that fun. It's more interesting now, even if it's not a great place to be in, and we might all die.

My concern is that, assuming we live through this, healing is still a bit scarce. We might have to rest and get back our spells, which means wasting two entire days on a side quest.
On the other hand, if this goes poorly, I might roll up a pure caster for my replacement. Maybe a Psychic//Wizard//Arcanist. Ooh, or if CaveToad is cool with the Psychic Duel mechanic, I could do something like a Psychic (Psychic Duelist)//Magus//Unchained Monk.
I'm not horribly opposed to rerolling either, I'm realizing bard isn't going to be all that great in such a high powered campaign, compared to what could be accomplished with a different build. And I don't think my build is going to be that interesting for quite a while.
But I don't want to force other people to reroll if they don't want to, so I'll try my best to keep people alive. I can heal for 1d8+2 at least.
Actually to be honest, Cavetoad would it be alright if I just rerolled a new character? I like the social/exploration and noncombat bits more, so I actually (a bit counter-intuitively) want to build a more combat oriented character. Strong combat skills means shorter combat means we can get back to the much faster paced interactions instead of slow turn-by-turn stuff.
I can build it over time and figure out when is a good time to swap out later.
Forgive me for the triple post, but I have insomnia and nothing else to do at almost 6am.
Grub, if you are thinking that you'd like to try a caster focused character, I'd be happy to take on the big 'meat wall' role.
I'm thinking Barbarian/Fighter/Oracle with life mystery. We'll have all the out of combat healing we'll ever need and I won't depend on it too much in combat. And I'll have a hell of a lot more interesting things to do that my piddly 1d6 damage and giving others +1 to hit.
I'm just gonna start building it on the chance you say yes, Cavetoad, I have nothing else to do. Already did my round actions, no one else has really posted yet. Other campaigns have slowed down for a bit or died.
