Backstory, Personality, and Appearance:

Alignment: Aury took to Goodwin's teachings very well, and happily does good deeds whenever she can. Her kobold heritage keeps her extremely loyal to her companions, but can also make her somewhat mischievous and sneaky.
Theme: Diplomat, singer, and reluctant warrior

Aury'tss is a female kobold with dull black scales and slight green stripes along her back. Her stomach and bottom of her tail is a dark tan color, and her muzzled head is dominated by the long twisting horns of her black dragon heritage. Her teeth are well cleaned ivory white, and her orange eyes reflect light like a cat. She is 2'6" tall and has a thin physique - she is fairly small even for a kobold at 22 pounds. She generally wears simple robes or traveling clothes, and forsakes armor. She enjoys wearing jewellery and has a well polished golden circlet specially shaped for her head (special item), as well as small decorations on her horns.

Aury's voice almost doesn't seem to match her appearance, a result of years of imitating famous human and elven singers, as well as other humanoid races.

Siiluuk Tribe
Before Goodwin took her from her tribe, Aury was part of the Siiluuk kobold tribe deep within a forest swamp. The kobold tribe was made up of mostly black scaled kobolds who worshipped a dragon in the region, Thiluax the Fetid, a black dragon. Aury grew up as the daughter of the tribe's shaman, due to a stronger connection to her draconic heritage. Before Aury's role as a shaman began, Goodwin whisked her away to his demiplane.
Aury has the same strong sense of community as other kobolds, and she is incredibly loyal to her companions.

Personality
After a period of rebelliousness Aury started to bond with the others and began taking Goodwin's teachings to heart (it turns out that living with friendly people that care about each other is much easier than living in constant fear of being eaten by a displeased dragon!). She has become an outgoing, energetic person that works hard to make sure everyone stays well behaved. She likes to think she gets along with everyone.

While she has embraced her new role as a heroic person, the craftiness and kobold's inherent sneakiness remains.
She loves reading, and had exhausted almost all of the books left in Goodwin's home, from bardic tales to intensive arcane research documents.

She is a worshipper of Shelyn, whose portfolio matches Aury's own interests and beliefs very closely. She has great respect for the clergy and devoted worshippers of Shelyn, if her ten thousand year old books are still accurate.

She would probably like it if she could be convinced to go.

Goals
Go on an adventure worthy of a bardic tale being told about it, and make sure her companions are also suitably heroic. Establish self as important person in the world.
As a player: I like the idea of kingdom building, but also like the standard adventuring portion. If possible, a mix of kingdom/large scale things , with NPCs or Cohorts available to handle the kingdom, while we go on adventures with just the player characters. If not agreeable to other players, standard adventurey campaign with sufficient downtime and access to civilization.
