DITTO!!!!
Hey gang, Jorzan and Aylaeth are gathered here around my laptop with me to give our salutations, our congratulations and our Thanks.
After almost 3 weeks and many Many hours of incredibly entertaining reading I have caught up and read everything in the Mists of War IC and OOC. And really y'all, words fail me. WOW pretty much sums it up though. What an astounding and impressive array of writing and RP talent has been gathered all together in this PbP. I know that I am not telling any of you anything that you don't all already know, but I still have to say it nonetheless. Most of all I want to say Thank You, to you All, for providing my alter egos and me with such an intriguing and enjoyable read (and adventure!).
We all know the mind-bogglingly detailed, engaging and truly epic in scope game-world DRA has created and I could not be enjoying my two parts playing in it more. I too am very lucky and blessed to be gaming with unusually skilled players. But you guys have something very special going on here. The obvious time, consideration and involvement you all put into your characters and posts is abundantly clear. Because of what you all have created, and continue to create (at a furious pace!) Mists is the kind of PBP one dreams of playing in, but is still overjoyed to even be able to just read. So please, please keep it up.
I am absolutely addicted.
See ya on the other side
K. J.& A.
Unless I missed it, I haven't seen any reference to General Illuminata Vittoria. Or is she going to be showing up at the third dinner happening 'tomorrow night' at the palace?
Just curious

@DRA & Chu: Glad you liked. A brief moment of calm amid the storm. Literally.
@Kyras: First, that was a really insightful post into Kyras' perspective, how he attains his powers at leveling up, etc. I'm enjoying playing these two off each other, and I'm intrigued to see what happens over time.
Also...it occurs to me that I have no idea what Kyras actually looks like, and made an assumption that he was tall, since he's a half-elf and elves in this world tend to be taller than humans.

Pure awesomeness is never subtle and I'm just waiting to see what happens. It was the only slightly funny thing I could think of. :) Sadly today I suffer from being brain dead and a little writers block. Blargh. -_-;
Like that scene with Damian and Bel... If Min had gone, I really would have had a hard time figuring out his reaction(s) to that place. Btw that was a really awesome scene!

He's also a Warbanian, so his height would definitely skew on the tall side. IIRC, PsionicFox's original concept of the character had him at 6'5", which would make him a runt by Warbanian standards, and was a bit of fluff to explain why he would have leaned towards ars arcanum in a city-state filled with martial masters.

Warbanian, true...I knew the ones I've met before were TALL but didn't want to assume they all were. 6'5" is a RUNT? Heavens.

DM Downrightamazed |

Indeed. Warbanians are all humans, but their size approaches Large, that's how big they are. Half-Orcs look up at them with naked envy.
It is possible the secrets of their race may yet come out at some point, though thus far none of the six campaigns running in this setting have shown any interest in investigating Warbane, which is understandable. There's so much else to do! Plus it's not like the Warbanians have done anything that would warrant scrutiny.
Yet.

Kyras Erodal |

Kyras is also quite good-looking and charming with his natural Charisma of 18. I don't know if PsionicFox ever described him, but I imagine him as having brown hair of medium length, cut in a very gaijin style. While he wears the clothes of the Empire, he doesn't bother looking like them. He is very tall and muscular, like a n athlete rather than a bodybuilder.

Yeah. This is embarassing. I guess I just assumed that Vu was a large enough player that she'd be the subject of the exchange. And then Paizo.com hated me and I lost focus.
It is to my shame, mt companions, that I have let myself lose face. I have become the fly instead of the spider. I request permission to perform the three cuts that my family may be spared my dihonor.

The spider's art resides not only in the weaving of webs to capture its prey, but in stealth and survival, such that when the web is swept away by a larger hand, the spider returns to build its web stronger at the next opportunity.
If there were never adversity seemingly insurmountable, the spider would never learn to weave the perfect web.
Permission denied. Reweave your web. I can't wait to see how it turns out this time.

#$@%@! Even the OOC of you Mist'ers smacks of Pure Awesome. It is just So Cool how much you are all are so totally into your game and continuously and completely support each other. 25 posts just in the OOC alone in FOUR DAYS. Neither of the other games of DRA's I'm in gets 25 OOC posts in a Month.
I am Not jealous, I am Not jealous!

Can I get a general attendance count for everyone's availability this weekend? I myself don't do anything special for the Thanksgiving holiday here in the USA and am planning on posting a fair bit UNLESS no one else is gonna be available in which case I'll back off.
So; who's gonna be around and online?

Azami Ito |

I'll be with family, but it's really laid back. Dinners and a possible excursion may be the main time-sucks. Therefore, I hope to be very available and checking often.
I like Steven's statement about moving the football--I will totally use that when everyone else is watching the game on TV and I'm typing out responses on here.

Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting, 49, lists a neat ability that I can never have because ninja don't get trap sense. Could I take it as a feat with the following text?
Poison Master Prerequisite Poison Use ability. Benefit At 3rd level, and again at every 3rd level (6, 9, 12, 15, 18)the DC for any poison coated on a weapon increases by 1. You must be wielding the weapon, and the poison must be applied as part of a sneak attack.
alternative The poison must be applied as the result of a sneak attack, or any time the target would be denied its Dexterity bonus to AC. This allows me to poison peoples' food. It sems weird that people who willingly eat a poison are more resistant than people who get nicked in an injury or who have armor and cloth separating the poison.
Yea/Nea/modification?

Azami Ito |

Mating habits? Mage Armor is a mating habit?
--Wait, actually, for Warbanians, that could happen.
Whew - I was briefly worried the Emperor would be paying a visit.
Emperor: "Azami, when I said 'guard him'..." *insert ALL the eyebrow raising*
Azami: *lineface* Son of Heavens, the only 'sword' in my bed was this katana.

DM Downrightamazed |

Yeah, that was part of why I was confused. I think it went back and forth a couple times, but regardless I really like the idea of you guys all attending a Hight Tea at the Gossamer Palace, so let's stay with that; Azami, Kyras, Tokine (and various NPCs), that'll be your first appointment on this soggy morning in Lanzhu.

This is fine by me as you've presented it. Allows you to use feint and similar mechanics to aid any poisoning sorties, which fits perfectly with this story. Go for it!

DM Downrightamazed |

I know, right? That was ridiculous. I don't roll that well for my own characters. :-p
@Tokine, @Kyras, @Azami: I'm going to let you guys move yourselves along to the Shoto City House for mid-morning tea. It's basically intended to be a more civil version of the conversation you all had in Swift's flophouse yesterday afternoon. Just wanted to let you guys know that this particular appointment would be in y'all's heads.
Also, I updated the Campaign Info tab with my house rules for trapfinding and critical fumbles. The Fumble rules have changed, so please take note.
