The only way for the scouting to move faster is if the scouts and GM post a whole lot during scouting bits.
The other way to do it is to have the GM control the scouts actions and make a bunch of rolls for them. This can be a little dangerous because how a GM has a character scout isn't always the way the player would do it. It can lead to frustrating "that's not what I would have done" situations.
I'll try to post more frequently. I also don't mind if my character is botted by the GM or Kilarra.

Here's a thought-
Kilarra, what do you think of the two of us being able to make rolls for each other during scouting scenes, and being able to move each other on the map.
Essentially, whoever was posting would be "taking lead" or something like that, and would roll for and move both characters.
Another option is for me to assume you are using good, intelligent scouting techniques and summarize the effects of scouting. Then I can pause for things that require more interaction from the scouts.
Something like 'while scouting around the monastery, you discovered the following pertinent details which you reported back to the group upon your return', rather than waiting for you to tell me that you left to scout and how you went about it, etc.
Then I can get more from you when it might matter such as when you find a room with some enemies or something else that might be immediately important.

I'm at the home office for training this week, so not sure what my posting schedule will be... so if necessary feel free to bot.

I have about had it with these pugs and their perfect positioning to make the environment the real threat...I am gonna start putting points in whatever skill allows me to make flame throwers that never miss my intended target and never have a chance to blow up or fail!! These guys are total BS!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I heard from Lurch earlier today and he is due to arrive home sometime after midnight tonight. As a result the earliest he will be able to post will most likely be tomorrow (Thursday)afternoon.
I am doing pretty well. This trip was a long time coming, and it was needed. We went out to his favorite beach on the Oregon coast and spent a couple of hours sharing stories. It was good.

Heceta beach in Florence. Cannon beach was a close second.
Dinner at Traveler's Cove in Florence. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was, but that might explain why it was his favorite place to eat out there.
I've only made it as far south on the coast as Florence two or three times, but the beaches down there are much more beautiful in my opinion. And far less crowded.
So, somehow despite multiple readings of the pugwampi stat block, I missed that they have some DR and SR. I will be taking that into account during this fight and hand-waving that the others were weaker pugwampis. Please roll caster level checks (twice) when using spells directly against them.
Alexander, a single 30' move puts you where I have you currently positioned. (The stone pews are substantial enough to make going directly across them a climbing type of action. Climbing directly over the pews is even more movement-consuming.) I cannot see a way for you to make an effective use of burning hands this round. What would you like to do?
Also, Rukn, all six of the pugwampis in the room are dead, so you are far enough from them to avoid their bad luck mojo.
Since I had some actions left from the previous round... another Ray of Frost.

Guys, I'm really sorry... I feel I'm not contributing much since I have really bad figures in combat. 1d20+2 to hit is certainly not the best you can get. Sometimes is frustrating knowing I'm not helping properly.
Unfortunately, this PC is built to suffer at lvl 1, but it will improve. Next level I'll be adding a +1 to BAB, plus Weapon Focus and Point Blank Shot, which will net a +3 for a total of +5 to hit when flurrying (that should close the gap with your figures). At lvl 3 I'll be using Wisdom to hit, so it should all be fine.

you feel like you are not contributing?!?!?! how about my character. I feel like all I have done is...'hey look...even though it is painfully obvious to the casual observer that there is something odd about this statue guess what I discovered...THERE IS SOMETHING ODD ABOUT THIS STATUE.!!" Meanwhile Alexander & Solomon followed closely by Erizi and Zhalet have been carrying us like Atlas himself with the world on his shoulder.
I am a very long time player & GM of D&D 3.0, 3.5 and Pathfinder but right now I am so disgusted by these things that I don't even want to run any pathfinder whatsoever...eck!! During character submission time there was a guy who said something along the lines of 'I would like to play this but I have Pugwampi PTSD.' I now know what the hell he was talking about. I don't know why it pisses me off so much but it does...thanks for letting me vent...I think I might be able to stomach a few more posts where we fight these things now....

@ Solomon,
ya know when I saw your half orc trait that gave a +1 luck bonus to all saves I was like...interesting...not bad...but now I am like...oh wow...that is the most amazing impressive...broken trait in the game!! At least it is against these pugs. I don't know if you knew before hand that it would be that helpful but thank God you took it cause ya...stupid awesome.

I had no idea. I saw the Fate's Favored / Sacred Tattoo / Divine Grace combo and thought it would be a good way of propping up the low numbers I was going to be facing for the first couple levels.

I'm thinking that maybe we're fighting these things wrong though. Aid Another for combat is an AC 10 attack roll. Even rolling twice, most of us should be able to hit that. Having you and Rukn give Aid to me and Erizi might be a better tactic. With high enough bonuses, rolling twice matters a lot less.
Also, based on the current formation, I think Alexander can color spray 3 of them. (please!)ww

Maybe you're right, I might have to try new tactics.
No, I don't have a temple sword, since it didn't fit the background of the PC. He wasn't supposed to ever need to use melee attacks, but now I'm truly re-thinking...
