Bah, mundane telling me I got to get bio. Stupid mundane almost as bad as dem pretty boys. Well I was made dis way for reasons so frak you.

Well I am sure you were made just like your suppose to be. And there he goes throwing names around. Mundane sheesh

It's okay. Prejudice against metas is a thing; I guess it was only a matter of time before mundane prejudice kicked in.

I feel so down trodden , leave a troll to try and keep a good rigger down.

I swear his prejudice should just say everyone.

"you can't keep a good rigger down, oh you can't keep a good rigger down" all dogs go to the astral, 2035

BC should have prejudice: nice things. >=D

This is why we can't have nice things.

lol that's where my mind was at =D

I want nice things. And we should get them first cause we don't need troll sized things.
Oh was that prejudice to troll size? I didn't mean it honest.

Wow it sure got quiet. Think we will be starting soon?

hope so

ya, sorry. writing fiction for my pbp game, and which has resulted in a downturn in the amount of my posts.

No problem, I rolled up a decker during my boredom. Really like him but man cyber decks are crazy a$$ expensive.

Sorry for the lack of posts this past week. The guy who couched me in baseball and got me first into these types of games died last Sunday and well lets just say it has been one hell of a week.

It will probably be a bit before I can catch up completely and get the gameplay up as I am a little loopy from the pain meds... (Done something to my elbow and shoulder in the game we played yesterday as part of his funeral.)

On a side-note: If you want weapon and vehicle mods feel free to use 4E Arsenal Rules. Note that the Silencer will cost as the Sound Suppressor level upgrade.

I'll go dig up a copy tonight then.

My condolences on the passing of your friend. Hope you heal fast. And when I get a influx in cash I will get more drones and mod up a vehicle. Kind of a dumb question, but if wanting to have a troll side seat does it cost 50% more and more space?

troll-sized stuff is double, if memory serves. I'll take a look later on.

My condolences, Mr. Fixer.

Man there must be a ton of soy peanut butter going around since no one is talking

Just chilling, waiting on the boss man.

Started working up a "living weapon" bio-ware based street sam. He is gonna be scary nasty with the Crockett EBR.

Now that sounds very mean. Costly but mean

I've also designed a straight up monk style PhysAd. He's a former MMA fighter who got kicked out of the sport for intentionally crippling someone; he came from the streets, so he didn't have much to go back to...

Sounds like blood sport on steroids. I am trying to make a combat Mage that doesn't suck with no luck. I want trick out cyber eyes. And a sustaining focus for increased reflexes. But to get spells, not suck attributes and enough Nuyen to do it is seeming impossible.

The trick is to specialize, without trying to go all crazy.

If you want coverages and combat spells, drop conjuring, go aspected mage, buy magic 5 and suck up the essence hit.

That lets you focus your skills and gear around the magic priorities.

Ahem... Mystic Adept and purchase improved reflexes and improved sense, then never worry about buying up the adept side ever again. problem solved. It actually works better than sacrificing essence ever did now. Although if you really want to go the old fashioned mage on the decline route go right ahead.

Or yeah...that works great too.

But are adepts more hand to hand?

They dont have to be.

Take V do instance. His adept powers are all about increasing his talkyness and allowing him to perform social engineering.

Other adept are the typical ninja-punch kind. Still others are drivers, gun-experts, or more.

Only if you build them that way. Mystic adepts bridge the gap with just as much magic as a mage and the powers of an adept. Awesome.

Ok thanks I will check it out.

Hey guys I have a question. I was reading about Shamans and it doesn't show a requirement to take a totem now. It said you can buy a mentor spirit just like anyone else. But am I understanding I have to pay for a mentor spirit even as a Shaman?

Yep, they streamlined the magi types.

Hmmm so should I actually waste the 5 points? I mean some of the bonuses are nice but the neg effects almost make it not worth it.

I have a mentor spirit, so I definitely think it's worth investing in. You should think about the sort of mage you want to be, and then find a mentor spirit that makes you better at it.

Well I am going for a combat shaman. So a bonus to combat spells or maybe healing. It is the disadvantages that worry me. Combat rage, or such

for combat stuff that doesn't require berserking, I'd consider dragonslayer, wise warrior, or wolf.

I might go with wise warrior. Looks like it could be good

Wonder if we will start this weekend? Is there a place to read about exactly how to post during the game?

If you click the "show" button below the box where you enter your text, it'll show you how to format it.

Fyi: I will be in Vermont at a ski-weekend this weekend, so posting will be spotty, if at all. I will have my phone but I don't know what the service (or my time) will be like.

lol, you should just stay at the lodge. strapping wooden boards to your feet and then holding point sticks while travelling at rapid velocity seems like a recipe for disaster.

With that being said, have fun!

Oh there will be no high-speed shenanigans involving me and planks and snow-slopes.

There will be shenanigans involving beer, chicken wings, and board games, though!

smart man =D

Meh, for a guy in his 70s he was living his dream to the end.

Sorry for not posting sooner unfortunately when I finally found the time to post we discovered we lost our internet do to not being able to pay a past bill.

A quick detail though is expect only one post on this campaign from me per week but hope for more. I will most likely be more able to post towards the weekends though.

Now to find my notes for this campaign.

We are all waiting with baited breath. Some smells of beer and chicken wings, but we are all waiting.

Sorry... Seems I got the two starting posts mixed up for the games. Thankfully I didn't post them. Probably would have been troublesome.

EDIT: Okay with some stuff I have to do again thanks to rules conflicts I will not have it up till tomorrow.

On a side-note...

These are now accepted sources:

Coyotes
The Assassin's Primer
Gun H(e)aven 3

And we will be using the errata rules found here.

Sweet I have all of those pdf's

I am not in possession of any of those three, unfortunately.

Really all it adds are some tips for playing a Coyote/Driver/Smuggler and Assassin and giving a new selection of weapons. Though we now have a wider selection of guns from Krime.

BTW: Sorry for not getting the gameplay post up... Seems I forgot to hit the Submit Post button. Though I noticed a lot of errors so once I proofread it it will hopefully be posted.

EDIT: Okay new campaign thread should be up now. Also this run wasn't gonna come up until later for you guys but it will work for right now.

Forgot to state that Sporting Rifles will count as Sniper Rifles. Meaning they share Ammo and Ranges.
