"Man, I wish I had flashbangs." Verve says to no one in particular, then shakes his head and says to the group "Let's go take them, but without casualties if possible. Paddy, I need you to drop the wizzer first, while I deal with the rigger. Shade, you got any drones that can pin down the sammies? Let's try and do it quickly, and keep as many of them alive as possible. I wanna know what they know, that our new "friends" aren't telling us."


"Well, I do happen to be carrying these nifty neuro-stun delivery grenades. They are non-lethal, for the most part. Of course, if they're wearing chem-sealed suits like ours, they'll be useless."

Paddy ponders the setup as it appears for the moment.

"Wiz-boy is probably scanning astrally. At least, I would be in his position. Sniper has the alley covered damn well, and they have some kind of drone setup with that rigger. Maybe we sneak into the room underneath them and take the floor out? I have some explosives and can easily enough fashion a cutting charge to drop them down."

<Shade, can you see where they dropped that PMC guy in the alley? Any doors or windows where I might be able to spot his rifle or pack? Preferably perpendicular to the sniper's nest itself?>


Since Zip is in the room he had to fly in I will broadcast the layout to the team, I can send Fluffy in with you as soon as I get the report on drones and transportation, remember the orc in this rooms head exploded from another sniper so he is out here somewhere too. They referred to a Raven and street dogs.

"Arm? Yeah, I guess you could say that my 'arm' is good. I just need a LoS and open area to get the shot off."

"Just wait til you see what my 'grenade launcher' looks like, V. I think you're going to be surprised."

We may want to wait on Mr Fixer as we don't know if I spotted any drones or where their transportation is and if they have more back up. And a grenade won't effect the elementals at all so do we want to be out of the building when they come for us or do we want the strike team to be here to fight them as well?


You spot what appears to be a mix of Horizon Flying Eyes and Fly-Spys hovering all around scouting out the junkyard. Zip(?) watches them as they begin their move with their Mage and Rigger/Decker staying in the room with a Doberman coming into the door it appears armed with a M23 Assault Rifle. The Spirits move with the Two that leave. The water spirit seems attached to the Girl and the fire spirit attached to the Ork. If Zip follows you will see a Doberman in the hallway in the position to surprise whoever turns the corner. I should also note that they are at the end of a hallway in a Higher Class Suite.

Also I should note at least OoC that it is obvious by the Tactical Teams comment via Micro-Trans. That you are the 'Street Dog' they are the 'Raven' and that this new team is the 'Black Dragon'. Also that the Tactical Team most likely considers you enemies while the New Team doesn't care about you and isn't targeting you.


"Let me get this straight. Wiz-boy, the rigger, and our two shooters are this Dragon, Raven Wing PMC boys are the Raven, and the Street Dogs are us, right? And the PMC dudes think we flipped and opened fire on them? That was their sniper who got smoked, right? If so, I'm gonna grab his gear, and let's meet these Dragons. They sound more like our type anyways. Better plan might be to grab the downed Raven, snag his gear, then hit that vault north of here before scramming."

Paddy moves to the side of the buolding where the Raven got shot and looks for a window or doorway from which he can retrieve the guy.


Uhm he is closer to Shade than you by a long shot. Around 40 Meters for you to get there. Or at least as far as I can tell from my notes.


Distance is not too much of a concern. Magic Fingers is a LoS spell...just wanna drag him into the building if possible. If that's infeasible no worries.


okay I will grab him and drag him into the van while I send all the info from zip. Will move fluffy close to the door up but hide out of sight. We need to kill that rigger first if we are gonna take them I can't stop him or their drones in VR.


"I'm thinking violence may not be our best option at this point. If the Dragon team is gunning the for PMCs, and the PMCs are looking for us, why not point them towarss one another, grab what we can out of the till, and beat feet? We got our primary objective, now we have to survive getting out with our skin intact."


Sounds good to me, safer that fighting elementals.

Do we have any idea where bullet catcher went to? Without a Sam we are gonna have issues in situations like this

It's just the three of us for now, which is fine.


Ok if we are in agreement I will load up all the snipers equipment, call back my drones and send fluffy with the team to raid the armory. Also get behind the wheel and start up the engine to speed the exit of our team

remember 2 lead throwers are on the way out with elemental backup, move fast


I am looking for the recruitment once you guys get back to "Base".

By the time you get to the Armoury you find that it has been broken open. The Armoury is loaded with cheap knock off Colt America L36 with Silencer each, Colt M23, and some Ruger 100.


Paddy grabs a Colt rifle and as many magazines as he can secure rapidly.


They are in boxes with each box containing a set of all of them alongside 2 M23 Mags and 3 L36 Mags. Also the Ruger 100 is in truth a Colt Version.


Box? As in carrying case? If so, grab one in each hand. Do I understand correctly, each case holds an assault rifle, light pistol, and bolt rifle, alo ng with 2 AR mags and 3 LP mags?


Correct. They are akin to the old Paratrooper Cases that were used during WWII.


Excellent. One in each hand then. Holstering the manhunter to free up a hand.


Keeping fluffy at Paddy's side as he comes back to the van keeping watch for enemies I am guessing V will do the same for hands being full so I have them covered. Rushing to get to and in the van before Dragon exits the building


"Lets motor. Got the goods, time to make with the egress!"

Once at the van Paddy slides the cases in and chambers up.


Quickly pull out and go back to the safe house so we can let V call Mr Johnson and setup fencing the swag

Will keep checking to make sure we are not followed. Take the long way back as well


As you leave you hear a loud bang as a rocket slams into the building that the Tactical Team was in. And you also see where the Tactical Teams main set-up was a large explosion that brings the building down. But you make a clear escape. When you contact Mr. Johnson you are informed that you are to return to where you first met and wait for her to arrive.

If one of you would like to go post in the Recruitment Thread that we are looking for a Street Samurai/Weapon Specialist feel free as it seems the thread is AWOL for me...

in that case, we should probably go help the PMC guys go mop up so we can get paid by them as well.


I thought they decided we flipped on them and were gunning for us.
