Hmph! Looks like Mini abandoned us for that RoTRL floozie. I bet it was because she is Unchained! Good old reliable not enough for you? All those low-cut rules and fancy pants alternate classes.

May as well take this as the opportunity to mention that this is Gen Con week. I'll be out of the picture from sometime on Wednesday until late Sunday or possibly Monday. Feel free to bot me as needed to keep things moving.
Putting this here. I anticipate this game going a little faster than this one. This is intended to be a slow game, this second one is intended to be moderately paced.

Bummer. I'm already in a CotCT game that just reached Citadel Volshyenek. You ever start up Hell's Rebels and I'm in on that for sure! Thinking about running it myself.
Its just so hard to get a group that can play together and not degrade into bickering on the forums.
I had a Jade Regent, a Legacy of Fire that both died due to that. I had a second darkness that side with a TPK.
So far this one and our Runelords are the only ones I have that have lasted. Something about them being slower paced seems to keep them going. Maybe difficult players tend to gravitate to fast games?
man all of those sound awesome *lawls* Its possible that difficult players gravitate to the faster games? Maybe something to do with more chance to play before things explode?
i take it all back. I'm thinking charlatan rogue, going into master spy or maybe sleepless detective
Yep thats it. Charlatan (unchained)Rogue going into Master Spy. Go with the Pattern Seeker Trait, or Urban Sleuth.
Focus more on skills, and sneakers, rather than combat, through being unchained that actually gives him a chance to hit and do some damage on occasion.

That sounds like a better plan for Hell's Rebels! I'd strongly recommend being from Kintargo too.
I'd love to try to see everyone tie their characters into the city so we can bring it to life. If you think you might go sleepless detective, I'll come up with a reason for a small division of the sleepless agency in the city or a wandering NPC. Might be a good tie with the Order of the Torrent Hellknights.
I think I will head toward Master Spy. Its an interesting class. I am thinking he/she was connected to the former Silver Ravens, as a low level member-if that. He/she works at Crisali's books and from there he/she often was used by the Ravens to pass along messages and occasionally would code messages or translate texts.
He did it bc the extra coin he made allowed him/her to support his brother, who was really in with the Ravens, and he was killed when the Thrunites came to town.
I am thinking (gasp shock) of playing a bit of a lesser noble with class undefined yet, or toying with the idea of a halfling cavalier.
A couple of good ideas are floating about my brain right now, gonna sort through them.
I did see that aquatic elves were a thing here, is there anything different about a half - elf (aquatic) that would be problematic? Im at work right now so cant do all that much rummaging.
