We're 5th level now Miro.
I don't know that taking more adept makes a lot of sense for Audi. He doesn't pick up any more spells or slots. He does pick up a familiar, but that doesn't really fit for me. Even then picking up the 3rd level of adept doesn't do too much.
I think I'd rather keep advancing expert. Then when he picks up an actual class level, I can decide where he goes.
With that in mind...
Expert 4
Skill point as favored class bonus
5 more hp
Skills in: Bluff (2), Diplomacy, Disable Device, Disguise (3), Knowledge (local), Knowledge (nature), Linguistics (+ Infernal), Perception
Need to give some thought to the feat. We've probably been over this before, but what is the thinking about some of the ACG feats for these characters. Would something like Amateur Investigator, Believer's Boon, etc. be out of line for these characters?

I think, to fit with the so far recklass combat style that Tramtris has shown, of taking improved Overrun, who doesnt want to trample through our opponents? The other thought is Cleave.
What are you guys thoughts on it?

I have a PFS dwarf built on it. Lots of fun!

Ok, think I'm going to go with Eldritch Heritage (Rakshasa).
That provides the ability
Silver Tongue (Su): At 1st level, you can draw upon your outsider heritage to spin amazingly convincing lies. Activating this ability is a swift action. You gain a +5 bonus on one Bluff check made to convince another of the truth of your words (similar to using glibness). If a magical effect is used against you that would detect your lies or force you to speak the truth, the user of the effect must succeed on a caster level check (DC 10 + your sorcerer level) to succeed. Failure means the effect does not detect your lies or force you to speak only the truth. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier.
Audi would then probably pick up Rhetorical Finish with his next feat.
Rhetorical Flourish
You rapidly change topics and employ confusing rhetoric to distract people from your true intent.
Prerequisites: Cha 13, Persuasive.
Benefit: When using the Diplomacy skill to make a request or change a creature's attitude, you can use verbal misdirection. To do so, make a Bluff check against that creature. If you succeed, you gain a +4 bonus on your next Diplomacy check against that creature if the check is made within the next minute. If you fail by 5 or more, you instead take a –2 penalty on your next Diplomacy check against that creature.
Alternatively, you can use this feat to retry a single failed Diplomacy check against a creature. You take a –4 penalty on your Bluff check when using Rhetorical Flourish in this way. If you succeed, rather than gaining this feat's normal bonus, you can retry your last Diplomacy check against the creature if that check was made in the past minute.
That ought to solidify Audi's face abilities to the point where he should be able to talk us out of almost any situation that it is possible to talk our way out of.

Exxor |

With Brannock away at reserves, I wanted to find out if the party members would have shared with Exxor their goals...
At a minimum, Brannock has recruited his friend (Me-Exxor) to attempt to break into the Asmodean Knot in Aberian's Folly (assuming I can follow the notes I made, to get something located in a Chelish Crux).
Where are we currently staying? - have you allowed Exxor and Miro to know about the brewery/temple; and if so about the tunnel network? Is the Temple Brewery a secret location, or is it a working tavern?
I have been reading/skimming posts and also wanted to find out if the Torchbearers were mentioned to Exxor or Miro?
And if Sir Barksalot was still in residence?
--I know the characters would have bonded during rehearsals, and with Brannock as a freind it is likely he would tell Exxor the above details, but did not want to make any assumptions.

Exxor |

So, out of idle curiosity - in the five days before the party, aside from clothes, did we plan anything for when we got there.... given the whole point of getting chopped up in the play was to get into the mayors...
If I understood the gameplay thread, to attempt to break into the Asmodean Knot (the vaults) in Aberian's Folly (Mayors manse) to get something located in a Chelish Crux(chinese puzzle box)...

Exxor |

Did we bother to find out if the location of the vaults is known or secret? Are there any known/rumored wards traps, guards?
I realize I am a little late in bring this up, but we should have tried to learn some of these things and had a plan... I mean we gotta give Mini something to throw a monkey wrench into and completely ruin, leaving us to scramble (that is the best part after all!!)
So are we expecting to stay together then? I was gonna have Exxor wander about - as a sub-par performer, he would be the least missed of us, with the exception of our latest recruit Miro who is already skulking...
Also, is Thesling a bad guy, or just a jerk? If he is a bad (evil) guy, planting some Torchebearer outfits in his dressing room and dropping an anonymous tip to the hell knights could be good payback - but overkill if he is just a jerk. Although I would caution on using this tactic too frequently - if our personal enemies all start being revealed as torchbearers, the only obvious link would be us... and make it clear we were framing our foes.

Audi is more of an improviser, but would have helped by asking around had we planned something. Probably the theatre in him. Right now, he's thinking the majordomo is probably a good source of information and maybe even someone who might provide a guided tour. I think most of us should stick together right now. We're the stars of the party. Miro certainly has reign to wander though.
Definitely open to messing with Thesing once we're done with the party.

I couldnt help it im sorry, something about that Thesing fellow.. oh wait i know why, messed up my date at the theatre the first time *lawls* yay for getting to be a 'petty' noble eh?

Ok so things are finally settling down around here and I should be a bit more regular now.... you know what I mean!
"As much as I enjoyed my stint in the theater, I think I will leave it to Audi in the future. I agree with Audi. We should stick together for now. If we are able to find out the layout of the mansion the party, then splitting up may be a good idea."

Are we still doing NPC classes! I was considering a level of sleuth or some other "crime fighter" archetype

Auði Jaw-Jacker |

My impression is that the Mythic problems have to do with high level play and lots of Mythic tiers. WoTR goes all the way to Level 20 and Mythic Tier 10. The problems that Magnuskn outlines pick up at 9th level and Mythic Tier 3.
That would be close to the end game for this AP. This AP taps out at Level 13 and I doubt Mini would consider giving us more than two or three Mythic tiers. I played in a homebrew with Mini based on the Mythic playtest that finished at 9th level and I think Tier 2. We were heroic, but I didn't feel like it was broken. Its possible that the full Mythic rules have introduced a few more problematic options, but I'd be willing to give it a go.
Now that said, I don't know how I feel about not introducing a small number of class levels. I miss having a few more tricks to draw upon. We're currently 5th level NPC. How about targeting an end game something around 5th level NPC - 5th level PC class - 3rd tier Mythic?

Okie doke. Will post updated Brannock tomorrow evening. Probably staying with warrior, though I am contemplating a level of something else to reflect his experience.

Exxor |

Glad you mentioned that Audi - I am on vacation next week too, and will have no computer access until Monday the 15th.
Mini is free to have Exxor do whatever (and Brannock knows me well enough to make decisions if Mini needs to have Exxor act to move things along).
