Posting this in all the games I am running.

I just recently stopped running a game after a player got belligerent when something didnt go their way and the dice rolls were done off screen, despite off screen rolls going their way in the past.

I wanted to make sure I am clear that I DO roll some things off screen for various reasons. I do not post modifiers to anything other than damage. I expect my players to trust that I will not screw them over. If I make a mistake on the rules I support and encourage being corrected, but when I make a ruling, that is the ruling. Being rude to myself or any of your fellow players will not be tolerated. Period.

Finally the game is NOT easy mode. If you play foolishly you have a great shot at dying, I will be playing the enemies intelligently and they will do their best to slaughter you.

I am looking forward to finishing up this AP with all of you! Sorry for the rant.

Not a rant. Restating established parameters. The obligatory annual training of policy that everyone is supposed to follow, ie food safety, hazmat refresher, civil rights, nondiscrimination and harrassment, cpr etc.

As a side note, a much mourned PC died a ignominious death by poor judgment followed by two natural 1's. I learned my lesson yet upon reflection still had fun.

I have personally seen just how deadly Minis games can be and would have it no other way. The fruit of victory is much sweeter when you know you have overcome the most dastardly and deadly of foes!

in PFS can you modify a wondrous item? Like could i get say rhino hide made of a special material? Obviously i would have t pay the additional cost

I don't think you could get rhino hide made of a special material, but you might be able to increase that +2 bonus to a +3 or more. I'm not 100% sure, but it seems logical.

Sorry folks. Just got a new job. Scrambling to get qualified/certified asap. Looking forward to paychecks again. My rainy day fund really came in handy but i cut out a lot of stuff to stretch it out. Recently started doing min payments on bills. First luxury will be resubscribing to piazo after bills are zeroed out. Out of work sucks and temp day jobs (concrete laborer) were back breaking but necessary to keep food on table.

On a related note, my postings will be after midnight EST or late morning. Also i will resume daily postings, even if fluff.

In other news, i missed the multiple highway shutdown due to extreme flooding in detroit by a couple of hours. Got released from training early. HOLY WEAPON BALM PRICE 30 GP
WEIGHT 1/2 lb.
This violet balm comes in a small ceramic pot. When applied to
a weapon as a standard action, it forms a transparent coating.

Does Detect Magic require vision? ie if Hippa can detect magic to see auras, is it really vision if she can detect (penetrate)through solid objects or even darkness. She could detect the presence of auras. This is one way of being useful, she could direct the action if she sees faint/moderate/etc aura locations. Like say the center(target) of the darkness spell.

If a bag or container can "contain" a light spell, would the same happen to the darkness spell.

As for the second: Lets say I cast a light spell on a coin. Place it within a scroll tube. No light escapes except when I want it to. Would the same apply to the darkness? Keep the darkness from spilling out? Does Darkness emanate like light, absorb light or ... Perhaps this is the wrong forum thread.... But you get my drift I hope.

so out of curiosity, if We manage to survive to the point where we get class levels what is everyone thinking of going into?

At the way im playing Tramtris I can see a few different paths, though goodness knows I doubt he would stick to any of them.

Not sure if Hippa would prefer any one deity over another. So declaring a favorite is not likely considering her continued outreach to the community. And now she has tieflings to consider; well, she always did but she doesn't want to dig up old memories and soiled her husband's name...

I was thinking of having tramtris dabble in a bit of wizardry and fighter dom, Its why i gave him the magical talent trait. Though i was also thinking how angry he seems to get and how quickly he rushes into combat that barbarian is apripriate *lawls*Just not sure where to go with it.

And theoretically, You could be a cleric of a divine concept. I mean heck its in the PHB under like role. Be a cleric of Community or something of the like.

Genius! I like it and it fits. I am thinking domains protection and restoration fits her well. She'll continue to add languages to support this. It woulb be similiar to a military chaplain who is required to be coversant in a variety of religous practices to support all flavors of faith or none of the unit they are attached to.

Bard seems like a natural for Audi, but skald might also be an interesting possibility given the presence of both Tram and Brannock. I'd originally been thinking something along the lines of inquisitor or cleric of Cayden Cailean. Definitely going to require some more thought.
