Ok I posted a question but deleted it and figured it would be better here. This will be my alias and the sheet should be ready before too long.

As for race I can see being a half-giant fitting quite well. None of the others would be a match for this concept. So Elan or Half-giant if you prefer.

Halfgiants get Stomp as a 1/day spell like ability. Perhaps the Amulet empowers that, overriding it for the Tremor Blast ability. I'm also probably wanting to sometimes do a "superhero landing" kind of move by jumping up and then slamming the ground instead of just stomping or punching the ground.


Brin you decide which you want. Half-giant or Elan. Stomp if you use half-giant. Punch if you use Elan.

Brin Walker I gave up Elan so you could take it, having two in the party would kind of not fit. The GM wants us to be so odd in each others eyes.

That being said I did some things to my PC I felt would be fun, with that in mind.

1) she is a Psionic Android [race builder] from a race of Psionic Androids.

2) I have edited her background a bit so she has no language but mind link.
When with a high Int the only language she knows is 'Rapture Thought' felt it would be fun to have her link to the others and try and communicate.

5)Starts play with NO money, She has an Idea/credit card which only has use back home.

Welcome, I will activate the gameplay when all of the aliases are fleshed out properly and I sit down in front of the laptop and type out the information needed. I also want to be clear about how your pc ended up in this wasteland.

Your character was going about their normal routine when they were sucked up into a sort of wormhole which dropped them in the Wastes. Your PC landed hard in the sand and was drug by a gravitational force toward the unique weapon that you created until you gripped it. Your character did not possess the weapon previous to this moment. The weapon was manifested by the dreams of your character and forged by someone scrying on them.

I haven't bonded to a new Animal Companion yet either and will probably get new ones depending on where we go and what is native to the place. Druids can gain a new companion for free by meditating for 24hrs in the place where the animal lives.


Real quick,a bit about me as your GM. I'm an old school player from the 80s, table top. I'm not a tyrant. I expect a friendly atmosphere. I will need input from time to time, especially since some of you are vets. I will follow the mechanics of pathfinder for play. I will follow the rules as close as possible, but for me, story and fun come first. This means that there will be houserules and some creatures will may be stronger than normal. PM me with any questions that you feel uncomfortable asking here.

Also, I'm being spoiled in another game by the players. There are putting their roles into a spoiler labeled "mechanics." I will not require this, but would appreciate it. I also have some players that make combat really easy to understand by labeling their actions in order. Example, ROUND ONE: free action: ; move action: Standard action; etc. Again, I won't require this, but it makes wrapping up combat rounds really easy and quick which keeps the game flowing.

Hopefully you can post every 1-2 days. I post most often once daily. There will be times when RL interferes, likewise just explain that you will be away and let me know when you come back. I will bot for short absences, but long unexplained absences amount to a resignation. Staying involved is fun for all.


For animal companions, I would prefer that animal companions be something that can travel with its master as you will be traveling through not just time and space, but planes as well. So consider this when choosing. As with race and weapon we can negotiate the creation of custom animal companions if you have that feat or class feature.


Also, I'm new to psionics. I have not played it in a really long time and I am going to count on you to track your Power points as accurately as possible. With all this power, you can see why I was only looking for 4 characters.

My item is the Gauntlets of Grel. Adoy has heard of these and always wanted them, and then they appeared. Strange.
The appear to be two small spiked gauntlets, made of blue dragon-hide, with mithril spikes, and gold thread laced through the gloves. small sapphires adorn each finger, a some what larger one is on the back of the hand. Somewhat gaudy, but nice work. Every now and then, a spark flickers on it. Grel was a legendary blue dragon. Of course, though Adoy doesn't know this, these are probably not the originals.

My rifle kinda has 2 names. It is a rifle made of Vvalewood (pronounced "V") and it is named Wind's Whisper. I will probably use either name interchangably, or jus nickname it Whisper.

The Wind's Whisper is a long rifle, about 4' long with a black wood stock and jade green highlights. It then has Mithril-blue metal and wire along the body giving the illusion of the wind rustling through the rocks and grass.

Something I just realized...
For me, it will take a standard action to fire my rifle, and a move action to reload. As such, I probably wont get too much out of my weapon specal ability to aim as I will be too busy reloading, at least until lvl 3 where I get free action reloads :/
Ah well. I should still get some good use out of it ^_^

The good doctor's weapon is a silver of gray Sliver, Crystal like metal that hovers around her head until she utilizes as a kinetic power s or grips it to fight and cut with.
Thing is razer shape and will be a sonic weapon


I just thought of one more helpful hint. When posting an action that requires a DC rating to overcome, please state that DC value as it will change with levels.

I'm working on the opening, game play should be up later today.

Also the wielder gets Cleaving Finish but only while using this weapon.

How about Impetitus, or a derivative of that? Impetitus is the Latin and original word for Impetus, which means a moving force; impulse, an attack.

My thinking is that it is a large force of metal that, when swung, is not easily slowed.
1650-60; < Latin: an attack, literally, a rushing into, perhaps by haplology from *impetitus (though the expected form would be *impetītus; see appetite ), equivalent to impetī-, variant stem of impetere to attack ( im- im-1+ petere to make for, assault) + -tus suffix of v. action

Edit: may I ask, why Horicalcum metal? It is literally the most expensive metal in the galaxy, akin to Adamantine 10.0, and is associated with illusions and slowing down time?

Why not make it out of stone (obviously less powerful, but very thematic)? Just my 2cp :)

I wanted to make her as out there as I could. At the moment she is still hidden in her space suit worrying about all this but fascinated by it.

Do you have telepathy all the time?

I'm just wondering because at level 3 I have Telepathy with everyone in my collective. I can only fit 3 people plus myself in it right now though :/

Yes in a way its directed, its a lesser form of mind link from Psion Telepath Discipline talents.
She Will get mind link 1 level power next level. I just did not need it now.

Discipline Talents (Ps)
Choose two powers from the following list: conceal thoughts, mind link, mind thrust, telepathic lash.

As long as you maintain psionic focus, you may manifest either of your chosen powers without paying a power point cost, but the power may not be augmented or affected by metapsionic feats. The damage of mind thrust is reduced to 1d6. You may only use conceal thoughts on yourself if used as one of your discipline talents.

I had seen that style of telepathy but I never knew that there WAS a standard way of using telepathy :p I shoulda figured. Shrugs.

Thats a neat way of going about it tho. My previous character was a telepath but he was also mute and he didnt eat, breathe, sleep or age. He didnt even bleed (fluff wise), he was truely a creature frozen in time :)

Are you using Bold or Italics? I had used Italics before but I was told that it had made going back and searching for things previously said really difficult, probably because our brains are conditioned to associate speech with black and tune everything else out.
At least thats the reason I switched back then.

I like that name. And the reason behind horicalcum is that's it's not common, and since we didn't have it before being pulled, the metal would have intrigued Fraga. It also grants a bonus to hit. While being able to flurry with my fists gives me a different option if I use the weapon.


This bit about telepathy is important here as you will encounter it with others. We need to work out a standard way of doing it in this campaign. Are we all agreed that the way Calista does it is our standard?

Yep I just "cut an pasted" it from Lynora who runs the longest most posted game on here. Other GMs have also posted it from time to time.

I've been in about 20 games on here with Psionics and all but 1 I think used the ::[ i]"Italics"[ /i] ::

I think that was because you where not using :: ::, once you see that trackig back its not so hard to spot.

With all bold I was told that it's confusing in game play as some forget its not telepathy to a group or single NPC/player, and that everyone can hear it. Posting responses to things they could not hear.
Seen that
Where as Italics are always internal dialog so there is not mix up in game play posts.

The Investigator Hybrid class, much over looked, has at its core a very solid use of Int and Kn skills.

Her race has NO religion so she has no real understanding of that, also local is meaningless as she was a deep space explore, who has never meet an alien who thinks, Ideas of other culture and peoples are a little off kilter.
