I intend to see it later as soon as the crowds die down.
Crowds tend to make me as comfortable as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. :)
So that is 1 vote for Kaos, 1 for Mordea for the buckler. Anyone else ?

Haskyll Stonereaver |

In that case, Kaos, the buckler is yours. Will update the treasure sheet when home from work.

Haskyll Stonereaver |

It may take me a day or so to get things fully up to date, that is just a side affect of working 12 hour nights. :P
As for taking care of the treasure list, not a problem. :)

Haskyll Stonereaver |

For the next few days, I will be traveling. If I am holding things up, please bot me as necessary.

Ragnir Brightaxe |

Fallout has been consuming my time. And I recently started playing XCom again. Both are excellent games.
Also, sorry for my delay, we have 4 go lives here at work slated for the beginning of the year, so it's a bit chaotic.

You can temporarily put the in a container in the reach. But as soon as you get a house you can store everything there. And yes you need them later.

Anga Runedaughter |

Dragon bone armour. Hmmm, nice.
Xcom is great. I have heard xcom 2 is coming out next year, looks good. I played te original, back in the day.

GM Mazra |

You can have them all in Skyrim. But mastering a couple of perks is best. I usually work to max out Bows, Sneak, Smithing and Enchantment. But I have played it where I maxed out Destruction Magic too. I prefer to let my companion get up close and personal, while I take the monsters out at range. There are plenty of monsters that can take you out in one blow. I will never forget the Giant that sent my character into orbit. It is the coolest way to die in Skyrim.
Your character can be a Master Thief running the Thieves Guild in Riften, be the Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold and head the Fighter Lodge at White Run all at the same time.

Make jewelry and enhance it. Do these for everything you find before you sale it. You can also find a Orc smith in the city to the far west that will train you. Also the guy at the sky forge will train you if you join the campions.

I got a little i pad. I can look at but do nothing with things
I just have to put up with minimal map and excel acess until i am home

GM Mazra |

I have not been adding map coordinates lately. It should help us pad centric players to identify pc location that can then be updated by one of us at a later time. Pads are great for allowing me to keep current with post. I often write post during lunch at a wifi restaurant or as I sit watching TV with my wife.

Haskyll Stonereaver |

Not 100% sure of where I was or how long it would take me to get to the deck.

GM Mazra |

I believe you said you were guarding. Melira is locked up in the bilge. I am sure she is quite ripe. The typical Orc would find it pleasing.
Round One you get an action. If you are guarding you would have your spear. You could move 20' to the ladder heading up to the rowers deck.
Round Two - Full Round action to run +60' or 80' total.
Round Three - Full Round action to run +60' or 140' total would put you top side by about 10' if my calculations are correct.
Kaos, if he ran in Round Two, could engage the third aquatic creature in Round Three, but would be unable to get an attack.
I am assuming that Ragnir stays on guard duty.

Haskyll Stonereaver |

makes sense, thank you.

Haskyll Stonereaver |

Sorry I have not been online for the last couple of days.
I took a tumble, and messed up my back, putting me on strong pain killers.
Just asking that if necessary can I be botted for another couple of days.

Anga Runedaughter |

question. i have taken 20hp, did I take another hit. I should be on 5
don't worry i found it. -5, plus healing is 1hp and prone. Yikes.

Anga Runedaughter |

Hey all
have a look at this. This is the kickstarter page for 7th sea, a game I really liked in its day. Well they are putting out a 2nd edition, and wow, look at the response.
They asked for $30000
So far they have $540000...and there is still 28 days to go. They keep adding more stretch goals.
This looks really good.

Ragnir Brightaxe |

I was stoked when I saw this. 7th sea is a great system. John Wick was one of the guys that originally worked on it with the old company, and they decided to go to almost strictly board games, so 7th Sea kind of sat fallow until Wick got the rights to it. Super excited for this.

GM Mazra |

Hi Everyone,
I have been contacted by a player in another Giantslayer campaign. Their campaign is ending at the termination of the first AP. I am considering bringing their PC in to replace Mordea at a point where it could fit the story. The PC will have some of the skill monkey traits Mordea offers.
If three or more agree, I will invite the player into the Discussion thread, in character, as an interview process to see if it will be a good fit. So far, the party works very well together. I would not want to do anything like this without the party's consent.

Haskyll Stonereaver |

Fair enough on my part.

Leira |

Hello everybody and thanks for the opportunity to join you and give Leira continuity on her Giantslayer adventures. Mazra asked me to add here an in character presentation of Leira so you can better gauge if you see me in and how would you like me to adjust her to better fit your group. Because I do not know exactly where I would join the group or what other NPC to interact, I will go with an internal memory revision so she can introduce herself. So here it is.
There, in the middle of the swamp, the fires over Trunau’s roofs were still fresh in Leira’s eyes. It had passed a long week since she left town. Things had gone from bad to worst but the memory of her little half-sister Sarah crying over their mother’s chest was still pushing her to fulfill her vengeance.
Past had become the time when Leira will sit with her mother listening to her stories of heroes and magic, learning with her the mysteries of ancient artifacts, helping her to craft the small everyday objects sold in their shop. They had been close at that hard time after Leira’s father death at hands of the Twisted Nail orcs. The girl would have to fill her father’s role fixing furniture at home, performing small jobs to help set the table with food everyday. She become witty and social at the same time, profiting any small opportunity given by Trunau’s neighbours even when it involved tricking someone harmlessly.
Later on things became better when Erik entered in her mother’s life. The man took care of her family. Even after Sarah was born, he took look after Leira, teaching her how to hunt, mount and disable traps, hide in the wilderness and check the environs. Being part of the militia, he taught her to use the bow and dress with an armor like a true pride Truanian. When the time came he was the first one to push her to her Hopeknife Festival, and helped her to succeed.
Those were great times, but then Rodrik’s assassination and Trunau’s siege arrived. Her group was to defend the lower neighbourhood and that was terrible. That day some of her companions and friends died there horribly, but their effort helped hold the orcs and giants time enough for the town’s succeed. But the happiness was short, the death of her mother was too much.
I have to continue, I will not perish here thought for herself “You Twisted Nails, you will pay for all you have done” her hate against orcs getting only stronger.
Mazra desired to replace the skillmonkey role so I decided to add 2 rogue levels to Leira. This multiclassing let me decide to try go for the Arcane Trickster, to attempt keeping much of Leira’s background and feel while filling the role needed by the party. This lead me to maximizing her Int for more skills and tweaking her spells to support and utility instead of blasting while making her a bit better on ranged combat.
Last thing I would desire is to make someone feel I am invading his/her party space, and thus, I would not mind changing Leira’s background and switching to a pure bard or even rogue build.
All opinions and ideas are welcomed!

Haskyll Stonereaver |

I for one, will not tell someone on what or how they play a class.
If going for Arcane trickster is how you see the character going, I have no issues with that.
Let me be the first to say I like the way your backstory seems to work out, and this will at least allow our overworked GM a break. (No offense intended Mazra :) )
As for melee/ranged I think having a bit more ranged might be a good idea, as we seem to have a number of melee. :)
Was just my 2 coppers. :)

![]() |

I agree. The NPC you maybe replacing is a rogue but I believe if you are focusing on range and some rogue type skill you should work out just fine. Pluse you can keep Anga company.

Anga Runedaughter |

Seems like a good character. Arcanist/rogue is not one i have seen before. But i like different. But no defensive or offensive spells? Shield would be a good choice. But it is your character.
